I really appreciate you still doing Bioshock videos even after all this time. Thank you so much for doing this, really enjoyed this series!! One of the best Bioshock summaries I've seen so far online. Hope you make more content, mate. Cheers

I had watched the first two a long while back, before you made the third. Came back to find this. Really happy you finished the series and well done. Very entertaining and I will be sharing with friends.
I have played all 3 each year since infinite came out and never picked up on more than half of what you explained in this series. Well done! Definitely about to binge your whole channel.
I feel so blessed that i found your series like few days after you realised the 3rd part. I got the whole story in one sitting and damn it was so fun. Thank you for this. I always loved the story of Bioshock Infinite but this all gives it whole another vibe.
@@Skyrionn What are the games that you are thinking of doing? I think something like Darksiders? Mass Efect or Final Fantasy would suit you greatly, plus you deserved my subscription more than enough so i will be here when you eventually put it out, so consider me excited
im the minority opinion because i dislike her character. it was more of a fault of the story. the way infinite ended and how vengeful elizabeth was in burial at sea was off-putting since her seeing all the doors changed her character into an all-knowing comstock killing machine instantly, whereas the rest of infinite she was potrayed as a charming sidekick who eased tension. the change in her character was not natural to me. i know im alone in that opinion but i never cared about her character even when she died since her killing booker in infinite initially made me feel she in turn needed to go as well.
It’s very late for me to get to this but I really appreciate all of this, I never played games cuz I wasn’t good at them, I grew up playing second player with my older brother and I would always watch him play single player games, and this was one of them, great job and I really appreciate all your hard work
Another Awesome vid. I would have watched it last week when it came out but have gotten so busy with classes since my college is trying to impliment this hybrid schedule and it's just dumb. Keep on keepin on Skyrionn!
What’s weird is where the pair bond fits into this. In a recording in 2 Alexander talks about Delta being the first successful pair bond. And that it’s a shame Suchong isn’t around anymore to enjoy this accomplishment. Which if that’s true then Delta “the first successful protecter” was only put into effect after Suchong’s death at the hands of a Bouncer who imprint on a sister he slapped. Which was after New Years where Delta was killed. So which came first? Delta or the bouncer?
And that is why BS2 isnt AS canon as 1 and infinite and BaS. I really liked how this videoseries did try to tie BS2 into the main narrative but it glossed over A LOT of details that fight against it.
I think suchong was aiming for a pair bond that worked WITHOUT being only successful on 1 big daddy. Since the alpha series suffered that problem as well as others. So the bouncers came along and suchong kept trying. Succeeding then dying
@@Skyrionn yes truly enjoyed how you unraveled the whole weave of the story. All the time shifting in the game got me turned around, so finally just gave up understanding and just enjoyed the gameplay. Your series made it all come together. Now I need to go back and do a replay to truly enjoy the whole thing!
Overall this series was very good. BaS conflicted with some parts of Bioshock 2 and never explained if the Elizabeth from main game was the same from BaS. But this tied all of them , even BS2, to the story in a pretty good way. I did find a quite acceptable explanation for this in the wiki and how the main game ties into BaS: After the Revelation. Drowning Booker to stop Comstock from being born created a paradox which affected the last remaining Elizabeth. The memories, thoughts, and emotions of all the other Elizabeths collapsed onto her. This was a traumatic event that had a significant effect on her mental state. After she recovers, Elizabeth discovers a single Comstock had escaped the purge that had erased all the other Comstocks from existence and followed him to his place of refuge, the underwater city of Rapture. Elizabeth decides that not only must this last Comstock die, but that he is to know why he is being killed as part of his punishment. The Comstock in Rapture, like the other versions, had gone to a reality containing a version of Booker DeWitt in order to obtain his infant daughter, Anna. As Booker and Comstock struggled over the child at the Lutece Tear, a version of Elizabeth appeared beside him and demanded he let the child go. Comstock refused, claiming that the girl was his. Booker is able to gain the upper hand and starts pulling his daughter onto his side of the Tear. Comstock ordered the Tear to be shut but unfortunately Anna’s head was still on Comstock’s side of the Tear when it closed, and the child was decapitated. Comstock, feeling guilt and remorse over what happened, had Anna DeWitt’s initials tattooed on the back of his right hand to serve as a reminder of what he had done. Comstock spent a number of years in Columbia, but finally the feelings of guilt overwhelmed him, and he convinced the Luteces to send him to a place where he could forget what he had done. After shaving his beard and returning to using his birth name Booker DeWitt, the Luteces transport Comstock to Rapture in the year 1949. Going through the Tear caused the memory problems Comstock had hoped for, and he forgot his past as his mind and memories adapted to the new reality. Comstock, now believing himself to truly be DeWitt again, spends nearly 10 years in Rapture. He starts a detective agency and gains a reputation for drinking and gambling. In late 1958 he starts to care for an orphan by the name of Sally after the fall of Frank Fontaine and the closing of Little Sister's Orphanages. Some time after taking Sally in, the girl is kidnapped while DeWitt is gambling at the Sir Prize Casino and turned into a Little Sister. Fitting into Rapture Elizabeth went to Rapture in 1958. She entered the city through a Tear in the Silver Fin Restaurant from the Bull House Impound in Columbia,[19] which did not go unnoticed as the restaurant's owner, Morris Lauderman, reported it to the Rapture authorities - resulting in it being closed to the public and given to Dr. Yi Suchong to study.[20] Elizabeth traded her traditional dress for one more appropriate to the environment, and set out to acquaint herself with the culture of Rapture. To blend into her surroundings, Elizabeth read many of the books the city had to offer. She learned about Ryan's philosophy, became enamored with Bathysphere models, and studied the city's structure and security. Elizabeth may have adopted the surname "Comstock" while living in the city. She managed to be selected from numerous other candidates to work with the famous artist Sander Cohen, to learn about his child trafficking ring and his connection to Sally. While working with Cohen, she recorded the song "You Belong to Me". Because of her presence, Tears began appearing throughout the city, which drew the attention of several key scientists, including Yi Suchong

Tenenbaum tell him to meet her in bathysphere and leave this place. 👏👍 Your totally awesome and amazing both Columbia and Rapture timeline. For the beginning to the end.
I like to think jack looked like he did in the photos located on the walls from security cam footage. Less strange looking, has a heroic face but at the same time a baby face.
"her big daddy"... this should not be possible as the pair bond was not a thing anymore and the new discovery of bonding big daddies had not happened yet. Also at that point she was also almost omnipotent so she should have know BD to attack her, then again as shown in the series time and time again, time is fixed and some things must happen later even if things causing them to happen make no sense.
Bioshock is a series I can respect far more than most, not only because of its extremely interesting and engaging story, but because I chose to end its story at a respectable point. Although I would love to see more from the Universe, I can also understand the story being finished with the second game, and I don't think it should be revived just to make a new game, but instead to explore new aspects of the Universe, as well as give an interesting commentary on 19th and 20th century ideals, such as religion, individualism vs collectivism, racism, etcetera.
If they hadn't made "BioShock: Infinite" the way they did (don't misunderstand me, I LOVED the game) and instead focused only on "BioShock:Burial at Sea", I know exactly how the story would be: -The story starts with Booker DeWitt, the most famous and influential private detective of Rapture. He was a soldier who fought in the second world war, having received the name "American Nazi" for the same reason as his canon counterpart. At first, he became a private detective in New York, but his PTSD, combined with the depression of losing both his wife and daughter during child birth, made him drown in gamble and alchoolism. That's when he started seeing a renoun psychologist called Sofia Lamb, who, aware of his reputation as the "American Nazi", took pity in seeing what she considered to be the perfect soldier falling so low in life, using hypnotherapy to repress all of his memories regarding his lost family. She also decided to take him as a husband, believing he could be the father she sought to conceive the perfect child, having the brain of the mother, and the father's brawn. She was the one who took him to Rapture. Once in Rapture, she keeps their relationship in secret in order to keep somebody from using Booker to interfere with her plans, as she knows her plans could call atention. After having Eleanor, she finally dumps DeWitt, who returns to gambling. You all know the rest with Sally and all of that. That leads us to Elizabeth Comstock. Her father, Zachary Comstock, was drowning in debts, and the scientist twins Luteces offered to pay him well in exchange for his 6 year old daughter, Elizabeth. He does sell her, but, tries to get her back before Luteces leave on a boat to the Lighthouse that leads to Rapture. They kill him right in front of Elizabeth. In Rapture, the twins' job focuses on the same field as the canon game. They want to create the Lutece particle with the purpose of ensuring that if the surface ever finds out about Rapture, they have a way to relocate the city. They also want to turn Elizabeth into the first interdimensional transactionist human. They create an interdimensional gateway, and use it to cut off Elizabeth's finger, in order to test what happens when a person exists in two universes at the same time. She starts developing powers, and with the help of doctor Suchong, they create the Syphon, with the objective of restraining her powers for enough time for them to brainwash her, educate her to be an INCREDIBLY intelligent girl and to study her powers. They also create the self-delusion this is all in her best interest, as they believe this research gives her a purpose above the existance of any of them (though only the male twin seems to actually believe in that). Now a 19 year old girl in 1959, she acts as a proxy of the Luteces, who hire Booker to find and bring back Sally and Eleanor Lamb to doctor Suchong (of course, he doesn't know about Suchong's part), since out of all Little Sisters, they're the only two girls who didn't show fear towards the Big Daddies. In fact, they showed more curiosity than fear. Suchong wanted them back in order to understand what made them less afraid of the Big Daddies. Unfortunately, Cohen got his hands on the girls and sent them to the Fontaine futuristics'department store. The game starts with Booker aiding the police on the shooting that resulted in Fontaine's fake death. It then jumps to him having a nightmare composed by his repressed memories. Everything in this first part of the game happens like the first episode of the DLC, right until the part in which they find Eleanor and Sally. From here, I'm lost. I don't know if the Big Daddy in the scene should be Delta, but I think it should, I'd like for him to be a recurring character of this game. But after this, I don't know. I just know, partially, how I want it to end. Depending on your playthrough throught the game, Elizabeth can predict many scenarios of the events of the next two games, and the consequences of those scenarios for the world.
I have to thank Cohen. He might be a psychopath, but you can't deny that he still got it, alright. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have understood the sad ending (not the bad ending, the sad ending) was the path for Jack's true freedom (from Tenembaum, from Fontaine...). I saved 11 Little Sisters because it was the right thing to do. I killed 3 to gain the power I thought I would need to kill Ryan and make sure the little girls I saved wouldn't suffer again. And I pretend to save the rest of the Little Sisters. For the girls are going to be at Jack's side while he tries to conquer the world. To leave his own mark in history. Just like Ryan did. I started this journey to build a tragic story. But thanks to Cohen and his visual art throught out Fort Frolic, now my own work has spoken to me. Don't worry though. I'm not gonna kill a single Little Sister in "BioShock 2". For there would be nothing constructive in return for their deaths. I am not what Tenembaum wanted me to be, because I killed some Little Sisters. But I'm not what Fontaine wanted me to be either, because I saved the majority of the Little Sisters and I didn't let him control the city. I am myself.
This was amazing, but so sad; I loved all the games and have played them all but I missed what happened to Bill, I was really thinking he would make it out 😢
I can honestly say I have no idea. They could literally go in any direction. The lighthouses showed that there are infinite possibilites for another city, another man, another lighthouse. We just don't know what they will be... or if the new developers will follow in this line and just create a whole new concept.
Something im still confused about how is columbia still there after they stopped all the bookers from becoming comstock and how is Elizabeth still alive after booker has been stopped. Like the rest of the Elizabeths dissapeared except her and she was killed like where did she come from lmaoo.
Reminds me a lot of Bloodborne. Littered with irredeemable characters and bodily fluids being used as super power potions. Parasites implanted into people to be able to gain abilities. Drug abuse metaphors Adam = The Church Blood. A lot of impregnation and fetuses and exploitation of children which I think is actually missing from Bloodborne but a lot of parallels still to be noted.
If that model used for jack is the official one. His jumper has a double helix pattern on it or it could be a chain like the tattoo on his wrist. Maybe because he's a slave due to his DNA 🤔
Hey brother would you ever consider doing mass effect lore when one of your series wraps up I think you'd be really good at it and that's another RPG was super deep super expensive Lore
@@Skyrionn Both of those sound like excellent ideas I just suggested mass effect because it seemed like you and I have similar tastes and video games and elder scrolls lore while very interesting is kind of played out at least until the next game releases but mass effect is just a treasure trove of super intricate and interesting lore And unfortunately Fable is such a short game series I'm sure you're struggling to find new content out of that again until the next game comes out But yeah personally I would love to see you add a mass effect into your rotation Lots of great content for you to take deep dives on or quick overviews

👏👍 Your totally awesome and amazing both Columbia and Rapture timeline. For the beginning to the end.
I refuse to believe that's what Jack looked like
Exactly
I like to think jack looked like he did in the photos located on the walls from security cam footage. Less strange looking, has a heroic face but at the same time a baby face.
This is just truly amazing. Thank you for helping me understand this maze of a story.
Glad you think so! It took a while to get the whole story in a chronological story but I feel like I got there.
LOL THE VISUAL OF JACKS BACK IN THE KNIVES OUT SWEATER WATCHING A BRUTAL MURDER TOOK ME OUT🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful, so happy to see this come out
I hope it was worth the wait!
That was excellent, thank you.
‘‘Tis been awhile since I’ve been here.
Yes! I'll watch in the morning!
I hope you enjoyed it!
Great job. god bless!
Thank you! Cheers!
If they hadn't made "BioShock: Infinite" the way they did (don't misunderstand me, I LOVED the game) and instead focused only on "BioShock:Burial at Sea", I know exactly how the story would be:
-The story starts with Booker DeWitt, the most famous and influential private detective of Rapture.
Do you think that this series is done now or will there be other bioshock games in the future
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE! I LOVE THESE VIDEOS! SUBBED AND LIKED. :d
Thanks for subbing! I hope it was worth the wait!
@@Skyrionn It was. I was gonna ask for a part 4, but you’ve covered everything haha. You should do some for other games.
That shaved Comstock is so creepy.
100%
you're a saint.
One of my favorite games all time
It is an incredible story!
This was amazing, but so sad; I loved all the games and have played them all but I missed what happened to Bill, I was really thinking he would make it out 😢
How did you find out about Elizabeth and booker dewit being in rapture and dying? Was there audio reals that I missed?
It's DLC for Bioshock Infinite. Burial at Sea. If you haven't played them, I would absolutely recommend it!
So with all the information you have what do you personally think the next bioshock game could be about if they do another one?
This deserves way more views. A damn shame.
If that model used for jack is the official one. His jumper has a double helix pattern on it or it could be a chain like the tattoo on his wrist. Maybe because he's a slave due to his DNA 🤔
anyone know the song at the start of the video?
Brilliant 3 part series dude. Now viewers would you kindly like and share this video😁👍
Legend! I'm glad you enjoyed this!
My first bioshock was 2, it was the best
Oh so that's why Elizabeth is in this
Hey brother would you ever consider doing mass effect lore when one of your series wraps up I think you'd be really good at it and that's another RPG was super deep super expensive Lore
Ohh I LOVE Mass Effect. That'd be a good direction to go into! I could either do a Mass Effect lore series, or a timeline similar to these.
@@Skyrionn Both of those sound like excellent ideas I just suggested mass effect because it seemed like you and I have similar tastes and video games and elder scrolls lore while very interesting is kind of played out at least until the next game releases but mass effect is just a treasure trove of super intricate and interesting lore And unfortunately Fable is such a short game series I'm sure you're struggling to find new content out of that again until the next game comes out But yeah personally I would love to see you add a mass effect into your rotation Lots of great content for you to take deep dives on or quick overviews
do you mean julie langford were is she why are you leaving her out
Great! :D
Thanks! 😄
Now.......................what happens before System Shock?
Crazy how much I missed
There's a ton of information!
And here I thought infinite was complicated...
.. I guess it's a complicated series ☺
Ooo piese of candy
So much candy!
😎😎😎
