    Thank you for this! The process of getting to the bulb without completely removing the bumper was gold. Was exactly what I was hoping for and looking for. Worked perfectly.

    Thanks for the video! Just ordered me some LED bulbs. Driver side went out so I'm sure the passenger side isn't far behind.

    Definitely more in depth instructions then other reduced time removal processes.
    Did the LED bulb come with the HID to keep the headlamps from flickering when you turn on the Turn Indicators?
    Its hard to hear you sometimes during the video maybe get a remote microphone so it can pick up your voice.
    Thank you for your hard work.

    How long do the led bulbs last compared to the stock bulbs?

    • @justdoityourself
      @justdoityourself  2 года назад

      LED bulbs can last as long as 30,000 hours. That's enough to make it through the entire lifespan of many vehicles. I have mine for just for over a year.

      @@justdoityourself I will add, I've seen how they are held in the housing. They have a retaining clip. I'm not sure if that could be replaced without removing the housing.
      But you're right the HB bulb hardly ever goes out.

    • @justdoityourself
      @justdoityourself  Год назад

      Yes, there is a chance to break something with that much force. That's why it is important to keep plastic warm when doing this and even better remove bumper and do it proper way.

    Greetings, I upgraded my DRL and now they only come on if the low beams are activated, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    • @justdoityourself
      @justdoityourself  3 года назад +1

      In some configurations low beam lights are used as DRL, lower voltage is supplied to them, just so they are not so bright. This works well with regular incandescent bulbs, but LED needs full voltage. Is is your case?
      Is so you would need to use regular bulbs.
      In my case, drl are on a separate bulbs, so it works well.
