I dont think spiderman 3 was the worst, the goofy moments suck, but I love the symbiote spiderman scenes, as specially how it makes him hurt others he loves, and then he has a whole repentance ark by tearing the suit off. which that scene literally hits so close to home when ive hurt someone I love.
To be fair, Roger Ebert almost had the same opinion as you. He praised Spidey 2 to the heavens, also loved TASM1, but disliked Spidey 1 & 3. As for the MCU, I believe Incredible Hulk & Thor were the only ones he didn't like before his passing.

I love the Raimi trilogy as much as the next fan but I respect your opinion. In my mind, the trilogy is pretty close to being perfect. They just needed a few tweaks: Spider-Man 1: 1. Include all the extra content in the novelization 2. Improve the visual effects specifically for Green Goblin 3. Touch up some of the more comic-bookey dialogue ("It's you who's out Goby! Out of your mind!") 4. Give the movie with the same aspect ratio and color grading as Spider-Man 2 5. Give Mary Jane more agency in the action scenes (have her throw rocks or shine the barges search light on the Goblin) 6. Showcase more of Peter's extraordinary intelligence (how he deals with Green Goblin) 7. Showcase more of Peter's bitter rage at the world for picking on him 8. Showcase more of Peter's charisma (especially under the mask) Spider-Man 2: 1. Include all the extra content from the extended cut 2. Include all the extra content in the novelization 3. Improve some of the wonky the visual effects specifically for CGI Doc Ock 4. Give Mary Jane more agency in the action scenes (have her help Peter stop Doc Ock and the reactor) 5. Showcase more of Peter's extraordinary intelligence (how he takes down the fusion reactor) 6. Showcase more of Peter's bitter rage at the world for picking on him 7. Showcase more of Peter's charisma (especially under the mask) Spider-Man 3: 1. Include all the extra content from the extended cut 2. Include all the extra content in the novelization 3. Improve some of the wonky the visual effects specifically for CGI Peter and Harry 4. Have Mary Jane help Peter and Harry in the final fight (Gwen and a bunch of civilians will be held hostage instead) 5. Make Venom bulkier and give him a more intimidating voice 6. Don't kill Venom off and instead burry the symbiote beneath the construction site If you just made those tweaks and additions, I'ed say this trilogy would be a certified 10/10 in my mind. But as they are, they are a solid 9/10 to me.

1:27 What are you talking about? Having grown up on the comics and cartoons, I always found Tobey's portrayal FAR too meek and soft spoken. Peter Parker is nerdy, yes... But that doesn't mean he's hapless and socially inept. I think they pushed that too far with Tobey's, and it gets to a point that he doesn't have any attitude or quips when he's under the mask. I read Spider-Man comics and watch the cartoons, and I see how much of a sense of humor Spider-Man has there; with the Raimi films, that charm and humor is completely non-existent.
tobey is NOT nerdy, i have no idea why they filmed him because he doesnt fit the criteria that well to the original image of spiderman, and i dont think (at least in the spiderman movies) he has been that great of an actor. the movies are decent, but i dont like the blind praise.

His argument about MJ in all the movies is pretty valid. If you search a video regarding MJ called “Most Toxic Woman EVER” by DerekFDB, you’ll know why.
