      @andrewfan8479 2 года назад +4

      Yeah, I literally saw this video in an ad just to come back to find this video to say this exact point! What on earth does that even mean. Are they saying because men take up higher roles that they should instead step down to let women take them instead? That doesn't even make any sense. In a business, there is more incentive to maximize profit and therefore higher-skilled talent to fulfill those job roles. So if those men are getting those roles then logically speaking it makes sense. So asking men to step down from those roles just so women can have a chance to take on those roles just doesn't make any sense at all. A company is unlikely to debate over whether one gender will outperform the other. They will just choose who is more effective in the workplace...

      False. She would say "that having a baby is a choice", and not a price women pay for motherhood.
      They are not held back, when it is a choice, they make that choice when they decided on the partner they would like to have a baby with. They could choose a career driven man, or a maternal stay at home man.
      No man can impose a baby on a woman, legally in the west, so saying they are held back would be false in my mind. If you disagree, please enlighten me.

      Also bear in mind women are far more likely to take sick days, and with the hatred towards men, schools prefer mothers to puck up their children (because vast majority of teachers also happen to be feminazis)!
      Education is trying to remove masculinity. And as we ALL know, the best teachers - well the most "respected" teachers were always male! Because they were taller, and with a deeper voice command more fear/respect! It's evolutionary, and one of the major reasons Trump won! NO ONE likes the sound of a screeching women - and men CANNOT screech!

      you stupid Hey dummy, grades are not the definitive factor of assessing intelligence. Females tend to obey school system far smoother than males, that's why they get higher grades in subjects that need no critical thinking and creativity. Memorize, memorize, memorize, don't need to analyze the fact just shove the information in my brain. That's how female students get high scores. But when tests get tougher and requires far more logic and application of information, female students panic while male students get pumped up with competitiveness. That's where the REAL difference kicks in. And that's why physics and mathematics are male dominant fields, because they need much more than just memorizing what you learned. You need critical thinking ability. And unfortunately these pathetic western school ststems never want students to make subjects more challenging. They only teach washed-down, incredibly easy informations that demands literally NO challenges. That's why you believe women are smarter and deserves the dominance. But, no, sorry kiddo, grades you get for obeying everything teachers say and sitting your ass off all fay to memorize the information to achieve high scores means jack shit.

      Bill Donoso. The essiantaily question is (and feel free to disagree with this) that the main thing that drives people (in the west) is meaning and what gives meaning to our lives.
      It could be that experiencing the growth of a new human being inside you is so meaningful that ones value structure is fundimentaly reorientated, the pursuit of a high end carrier might loose its motivating factor. But nothing negative has happened.
      You hear Farthers talk about that same reorientation but in different ways.

    • @billdonoso2000
      @billdonoso2000 6 лет назад +1

      Thanks for the response! If I'm getting this right, you're saying that the average woman gets more meaning from giving birth to a child after 9 1/2 months than the average man gets from that birth. Because of that, it is more likely for women to prefer the newfound meaning of caring for their young child than the pursuit of their career.
      I'm not entirely familiar with the statistics, but what if women who don't get the average amount of meaning from childbirth DO wish to re-enter the workforce and face lower wages, cut hours, etc? Is it a case where you just can't get the best of both worlds? I think that's where my main concern lies.
      From the last bit about fathers, I think I get what you mean. If they're not already, they have to mature and start working really hard and long hours to provide for their young family instead of hanging out with the guys all the time.

    When I applied for a management position at the company I work for, the bosses doing the hiring asked my fellow coworkers which of 'us' they would prefer to get the management position. By 'us', I mean, they asked about all the male applicants and none of the female applicants. None of my coworkers were even aware that I had actually applied. I had told them, but they had assumed that I meant I was planning to apply, but never did, as my name was not listed as an applicant.
    Afterwards, I spoke to my coworker who had been given the management position. He was shocked that my hourly pay was less than the state's max threshold for overtime pay. Even though he had 2 years less experience in the job, he had been paid above that threshold. After 5 raises, I am still making $1.75 per hour less than that threshold. This is against labor laws that are meant to guarantee pay parity for men and women working the same job with the same experience. There is a loophole to that law, though, as proof of violating the law needs to be shown on the company's pay records, and the company chose to 'not keep any records of that sort of information'.
    There is a pay gap, and it's not that women simply choose to be paid less. It's that many company's in the US have chosen to not record key pay information, the legal system relies on letting companies self-regulate and self-report violations of labor law (like allowing a child to rat themselves out if they have their hand in the cookie jar - kids aren't going to get themselves in trouble by ratting themselves out and neither are companies), and chalking it all up to women having babies or being overly emotional or just plain lying, even though that's not the case.
    I really do miss the military's payscale. Paygrade (basically, rank), time in service (basically, experience), allowances (annual set pay for purchasing new uniforms), and special pay (hazard pay for deployment to combat zones, etc.) were factored in; gender was not. Women with the same rank, time in service, and who were in the same situation (both located in a combat zone or both assigned to the same duty station, etc.) were paid the same amount that men were. It's not hard to set up a system like that civilian-side, but until it becomes mandatory for companies to track and report pay records or it becomes possible to admit worker's pay stubs as evidence of pay disparity when any group reports a company for labor law violations.
    As far as the MGTOW/men's rights denial that the pay gap exists when women demand fair and equal pay for equal work in the same job with the same experience, I find it odd that so many of them are upset about women in porn getting paid more than men. Honestly, using a pay system like the military pay system would fix that, too, yet the MGTOWs, men's rights advocates, top company executives, and shareholders who fight against admitting a pay gap exists in any other job have been against implementing any such system.

Woman and men are earning approximately an equal amount when you take into account the same jobs and time worked. Some people say even when those statistics are only taking the gender into account it’s because woman aren’t accepted into higher paying jobs,that is absolute bull, men and woman have equal opportunities, but there will never be an equal outcome,not because of sexism,because of the natural choices each sex makes. This is where it gets reeeeeaalllll feckin dark - because it really isn't.
      The pay gap was nothing more than a massive red herring to distract from much bigger problems still plaguing the western world.
      Look up male vs female conviction and sentencing statistics for the same crimes and you realise that gender equality is not even close to where we are - because it's significantly biased towards positive outcomes for women even when they don't have children. When they do have children it gets even more biased towards women again.
      (admittedly I don't have statistics for male judges sentencing women and vice versa to compare to male judges sentencing men and female judges sentencing women)
      Not to mention that in many western nations the military draft was merely discontinued, not truly abolished in law - and guess what?
      Men are still the only gender on it for the most part (Israel is the only example I can think of with women called to duty, but not really the west).
      No surprise we don't see/hear feminists making an issue out of these points.

There is a difference in the genetic makeup of men and women and although this is changing the women who want the same jobs have slightly different brain functions and think all women want the same as them. This is a British video and therefore British salaries. To understand the difference between the USA and UK for these two jobs is simple. In the UK. Both jobs are funded by tax payers (public sector). Whereas in the USA the health sector is private and profit run therefore higher salaries for nurses and the police officers are (mostly) funded by tax payers. Nurses are pretty well paid though in the UK with most nurses able to earn £28k (current exchange rate $40k) per year and higher with promotion to Sister grades. Base level Police Officers earn £40k ($56k) after about 15yrs service.

    This is a bit off topic but I always found it Bull shitt when I work in different labourers jobs and women been given the light easy tasks and getting paid the same. For example I worked a few years in banana farms doing very hard work in the field carrying banana bunches from the tree to the trailer 90 kg banana bunches all day. Then getting to the shed and lifting them up onto the chains to hang them then de-hand each Bunch which was quite physical as well. Now I never met a woman in the 6 years, working on all different banana farms, a single woman doing these physical jobs. They get guven the easiest jobs , at most lift 2 kilos, work slower, complain more, scream about insects and get paid the fucking same.

    Give more men child custody and child support. Pay for them just as women are paid for. Don't simply take away their jobs and call it equality. As it is, you just want the cake and eat it.

      Sorry, but it hasn't anything to do with what I said, and you propose a bad idea, too. I know that it is much more difficult to work as, or even become, a lawyer than a teacher. But to return to the actual topic: you cannot achieve equality if the only thing you feminists do is to demand more rights, more privileges, and do not concern about the ones you already have.

      @ms wpwm You said everyone should be paid equally. That's not possible. If everyone was paid equally, no one would work high stress, high specialization, more complex, high risk jobs. Everyone would prefer be a cashier. That's not sustainable. Sorry, but average teachers is just not as important as average doctor. We need to reward high performing people more than low performing ones to sustain civilization

    • @harshitmadan6449

      1. Obviously, some people will pursue jobs only due to interests, but not in numbers required to meet the needs and wants of human civilization. There's a reason money was created.
      2. With introduction of patents, scientific discovery grew exponentially. That's because scientists and inventors were finally getting paid more for their jobs. If we pay good scientists more we will get much better results than we currently get.
      3. Lawyers earn little if they don't graduate from top law schools. Not so in case of doctors. That's why many people study medicine instead of law.
      4. I never said teachers were unimportant. They are important, but less than doctors. Teaching is much easier and stress free than being a doctor.
      5. Altruistic motivational indeed works as you gave examples, but profit motive works much better.

  • @greedy9310
    @greedy9310 5 лет назад +4

    the reason for women being paid less after returning to their job with a child is due to the company not being able to definitively know whether the woman will move on or continue

    • @mnomadvfx
      @mnomadvfx 2 года назад

      Also because the women make less time for the job once they have children.
      Men with children make more time for work on average vs women and that gives them higher credo in the eyes of employers when asking for a raise/promotion.
      The video says that women are asking for a raise/promotion as much as men now - it doesn't say if they are getting it as much, I'd say no.

    In the West, women generally chose the job they want. Nobody is stopping them from studying engineering. Companies are so keen to be diverse they hire every female engineer who applies and quickly promote them to management positions. But, many women simply don’t want these jobs. The proposed solution is to reverse the gender roles and make men responsible for child care. Many women don’t want that either. All current solutions are doomed to fail.

    If "equality" mean the outcome/ benefit had to the same.. then how bout all of the advantages female had? They are most likely not be given the riskier work even in the same job like police or army.. they dont have the social pressure to be superior (income, size, position, etc) to get sex n companionship.. n the list goes on n on..
    the reason why so many man had to work so damn hard.. is because once man were falling behind economically, their spouse would lose respect n possibilities of divorce is significantly higher.. n when getting divorce, man are essentially enslave by the goverment.
    Lots of man dont care if the wife dont want to work, but most woman not happy having man that earn less than them..
    Sure there is always be exception.. so dont tell me not everyone is like that, or you n your friend is not like that.. please...
    Balance of power between man n woman is always assymetrical, if you force it to balance only by one side, the other would suffer..

    • @TheGreatgan
      @TheGreatgan 6 лет назад +6

      Homo Quantum Sapiens there is "inequality" on bothside n that make assymetrical equality. The analogy is just like two different branches of goverment, neither one is equally powerfull at one side. if we focuses our attention to make one equal with other in one specifict measurement. then it become unequal.
      Can congress said they are less than executive branch?
      Same with woman n man, all this focuses on woman earning less. failed to see the other kind of measurement like who controlled family spending or how much social pressure for man to provide..

    • @TheGreatgan
      @TheGreatgan 6 лет назад +6

      see.. you dont have any logical coherent argument, so you rely on shaming tactic.. too bad, i am not insecure man to fall for such. hahaha... you JUST shame men, in fact that is your only respond. so did man get shamed for everything? yes..
      i am not saying the word "discrimination", i am saying unequal outcome or in your terminology "inequality". i dont actually believe inequality should be judge by outcome. but hey, whatever that make you understand my point right.
      like i said, the balance is asymmetrical, by only focusing one side a million time, the balance would be tilt. and it already are.. woman everywhere is unhappy, my best friend just got divorce with her husband and among my 30`s years old peers, nearly 1/4 of them is in the mess.. men or woman.. that is my concern, i am fortunate to understand realities n how to deal with it. lots of people are not.

    • @TheGreatgan
      @TheGreatgan 6 лет назад

      few years ago, i had a young consumer that is attracted to me, but i dont attracted to her.. so, i asked her, why she dont try to date the dude that trying to court her, then she tell me everything bout her life n her complain about men that trying to court her.
      i am kinda sad, that dude is really love her. but she felt like he cant provide enough for her. its really ironic right.. lots of young woman in their 20`s that make more money than man, still dont want to be with man that earn less. so what happen? lots of dude, work really2 hard.. i am owner of few small enterprise, n i gave extra love to employee that willing to gave extra effort..
      plus in latter age, like in 30`s man voice get much rounder n bass.. the naturally had advantages in leadership. cus they had easier time to complain n lead without causing less discomfort, than comparatively less masculine man or woman, with higher pitch voice.

    • @TheGreatgan
      @TheGreatgan 6 лет назад +2

      hahaha... i never once shame you in this whole debate, but that is the only thing you can respond to me.. that show the difference in intelligent between us (and yes, this time i counter back). XD
      who i am is irrelevant to the argument. but if you were so damn curious.. then let me assured you, i had no problem with woman. i love them n they love me.. infact i often treat woman better than i treat men.. the only thing, they hated me for, is exposing the truth.. people like you are the norm in my life, they also dont like my word, until i prove how accurate i can be in predicting their gf/wife reaction, reasoning n future choices.
      how about you try to answer my argument point by point using logic n fact instead of acting mad n resorting to shaming all the time.. do you even understand what is "asymmetrical balance" at all?

    • @TheGreatgan
      @TheGreatgan 6 лет назад

      do you know why overseas chinese/indian/jews/javanese/etc are much more richer than their peers in their own origin country? cus they got discriminated in many ways.. so they band up together, work harder, study harder to even the playing field.. when they get so much richer, the majority would then felt economy inequality.. how come a small portion of those minority had so much more money than the majority? then gave rise to either racist bigot like Hitler.. that only willing to focus on one side with constant propaganda, disregarding all other relevant information.
      and your pattern of argument is the similar, you just replace racism with sexism.. but with equally dishonest n narrow minded focus..
