Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. Thank you very much for your time.
First of all, if you have any questions regarding Islam and yourself, just open the Quran randomly, and you will find the answer in front of you, like a miracle and a sign from God.

Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
(19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)..
God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.”
      (2:136 / Translated by Community)
      Salam (Peace)

The first two ads are what you would expect from any given military around the world. The last ad is overtly political and fundamentally includes and excludes different people. America right now is so split politically that sadly people just choose to not even try to cater to both halves because the two sides are so ideologically polarised against each other. Neutrality isn't always a bad thing and most of the time, leaving politics out of things like this only helps bridge divides. I truly hope America realises that other people are entitled to their own points of view before they villainise and ostracize others. You are supposed to fight for your country and the people standing next to you. If you fight for politics then you'll only be fighting for one of the people beside you, not both. Sorry for the paragraph. All the best guys!

I find this Chinese military ad widely misunderstood in RUclips maybe because of the language barrier. Please note that this ad is not! a recruitment video, on the contrary it is a video made for army reformation. Excess soldiers are leaving the army and taking different jobs in the society. Translation of the Russian ad if you are interested.
This is the first day of your new life. What happened yesterday doesn't matter. Who you were before doesn't matter to anyone. What matters now is who you will be today.
What do you know about yourself? What are you capable of? Questions may go unanswered, but can you then sleep peacefully? To know yourself, to know your limits. To hell with the limits! Are you ready to break yourself, to the point of exhaustion, every day? Here pain hardens, scars are a daily occurrence. You're the one who decided to prove something to yourself. The commander is here only so you can see him as the enemy. Because without an enemy there is no combat, and without combat there is no victory.
But the real enemy is you. Yesterday's you. Your task is to hunt down the enemy. Catch up with him. Surpass him. Become better than him and come back victorious.
Because tomorrow is the first day of your new life.

Yeah, the idea of animating it is bad for a lot of reasons. It completely glosses over what you are expected to do and endure in the military. Also, if someone joins the military because they want to have an adventure like their friends are having, I'd say they joined for the wrong reasons. The thing is, when you go on an adventure and you find out it is more difficult than you though or just don't like it, you can just quit. When you join the military, you are in it until the end of your enlistment regardless of how you feel about it. If you just leave, you will go to military prison for desertion, assuming they don't just shoot you.

Maybe another factor will be how technology will be so advanced that more than strong soldiers you need the shy nerd programmer type to operate remote weapons. There are other versions. I believe each of the people in the lineup for the US add had their own cartoon. I believe these are the new adds for the US military, the ones that can now ride bikes instead of march, do a hang instead of pull-ups, etc. Yes, it is the US military trying to show how diverse they are and might stem from the old adds of "an army of one" or an army of individuals. While the army of individuals is true, the military is built on conformity and looking out for each other. I don't believe any true military leader would think dropping 10 Rambo's behind enemy lines would be a good idea. Maybe they each would reach a few objectives but, without mutual support, they would be picked off and any overall goal would be very hard to meet.
The US military is trying to show how diverse it is and how accepting it is. I don't mind diversity and acceptance, as long as those involved can accomplish the goal but it just seems to me that the US is trying to move into MAKING things diverse and accepting instead of making soldiers and then celebrating their diversity through acceptance. When the military changes it's training in order to make it easier for a more diverse crowd to come up, I'm not as confident that those people can reach the levels of previous military generations.

Chinese here, here is some context for the video:
The first bit starts with calling the soldier's name and the soldier saying ready, maybe in the registration office, next scene is a training scene.
and the following scene is all soldiers answer ready scene for 1 name might refer to this particular soldier killed in action, and his comrades would answer the "ready" for him.
    the caption is:
we always answer with "ready", and the "ready" is my promise (To accomplish my mission), a "ready" is a departure (from my family), a "ready" is a reform(for my body), a "ready" is a charge to the enemy, with our live, we finish our mission, with our loyalty, we build the new great wall, reform make the PLA stronger. if my country call me, I'm always ready. "ready" once, ready for life.
and for the xi jinping's talk, I would summerize as he talks about how army reform is the only way to strengthen the PLA, and lead PLA to victory.

The ending says that your main enemy is the you of yesterday and that your mission is to see your enemy, move past them in all ways and return back a better person

You have never defended your own land, noone tried to exterminate your people as a kind. You will never understand. For Russians it doesn't matter if your got ptsd or injuries. It is not about your safety, your health or your life. It is about safety of your family, comrades, loved ones and your motherland you swore to defend. It is about survival of your people, about sacrifice. We have good proverbs in Russia: "двум смертям не бывать, а одной не миновать" (you can't die twice, but you can't escape fated death anyway), "сам погибай, а товарища выручай" (even if your die, you save your comrade). So you push your limits, do your best and protect your country, that's all.
My grandpa participated in WW2 from it's very start in USSR, he was too young and lied about his age to become a soldier, he made it through 4 years of the war. My grandma lost her father and two brothers. She, her mom and two sisters knitted socks for soldiers, because that was all they could do to support Soviet army. Our ppl in Leningrad survived 3 years of starving in blockade. Our soldiers were dying while defending each meter of Stalingrad streets. Sevastopol was almost fully destroyed during the second defence, only 11 buildings left, including the school I've studied in decades later. German army planned to take Brest Fortress in day one, but Soviet soldiers held it for 31 days, without clean water or any food supplies. They took water from the nearest river while enemies were shooting them. There is a writing on one of Brest Fortress walls - I die, but I don't surrender.
We support each other, defend each other, no matter the cost. That is our philosophy and main priority. That is what we do. And you are talking about ptsd and injured back, lol

      IMHO:
      The USMC had better release a kick-ass ad for Marine Recruitment before the New Noetic Battlefield begins unwittingly to set itself up in the hearts and minds of the Marine top brass, and thus make itself imminently ready as such for immediate invisible combat;
Or else prior to the start of WWIII:
      Whichever comes first.
      May God Help Us All.

It's an ad that to me seems to be presenting the military as a sort of career (which it can be). All three were different though. A juxtaposition of patriotism VS personal challenge and testing human limits VS a story of someone who made a military career choice.

Here is a translation of russian ad:
This is the first day of your new life. What was yesterday means nothing now. Who you were before, no one cares now. What's important now - who you'll become today. What do you know about yourself? What are you capable of? Questions may remain unanswered, but can you sleep soundly later on? Knowing yourself, knowing your possibilities. To hell with limits. Are you ready to break yourself? Every day pain hardens you here. It was you who decided to prove something to yourself. Commander is here only for you to see an enemy in him, because without enemy there is no battle. Because without battle there is no victory. But in reality the main enemy is you, you of yesterday. Your task is to track the enemy down, catch up to him, become better than him, and return the victory. Because tomorrow is the first day of your new life
