Hey! I'm the creator of the Batman mod, thanks for covering it! Hellsplit has so much more potential now that this support exists, I'm excited to see what gets created.
I feel like instead of set points on the gun they could have a priority system where there is global gradable points across the guns like the handle, bolt, slide, foregrip, magazine, etc. But those global points have a higher priority than other parts of the gun so you can still grab any part of the gun its just that. One good example of this is the blade and sorcery mod ghettos firearms have a thing like this that works well.
I think your point at the end hit the nail on the head - mini-campaigns are the most exciting potential of the mods. More stuff to play around with in a sandbox alone is not what we need in VR.
I've been waiting for mod support for Hellsplit. When I first got the game the first thing I checked was if there were mods. I feel like it can be THE fighting game of VR.
Looks great! I'm really looking for an alternative to bonelab, since the controls and weapon handling is a big downgrade from boneworks. This one looks promising!
I had to click in the thumbstick to release the magazine. Great vid BTW! also, I like how the gun are right now, probably some of the best feeling in VR I think. But they should make it that you can only interact with the bolt/slide with the trigger. I like the animation speed too, I prefer it over superspeed reloads.(my opinion)
Give it a try, the guns move around all over the place and make it really difficult to aim with any sort of thumbstick movement. I havent seen anything like it in a VR game before. Saints and Sinners was very subtle in comparison.
I know I might sound like a psycho but I don’t want to play a game where the enemies just look like zombies and act like zombies. I hate it. Unless it’s like actually a zombie outbreak game like L4D. That’s why I like B&S more. Once someone adds custom npcs maybe I’ll check it out

Great job on the batman mod. Looking forward to seeing what comes from the modding community in the future.
Hey! Sorry for bothering you, but I'm really interested in using this huge opportunity to get into modding. Any tips about where to start?

As a main modder for this game, I can say that every complaint with the guns that you have can be adjusted in your mods (except the reloading)
Awesome, VR modders, you guys are heroes, seriously.

When you did the flip in the car it made me feel sick... and i wasn't even looking at it in VR!!! lol
I'm all about mods and wanted to try this.
Wow! Imagine what amazing new games people will create with- *remakes resident evil 4 in VR again*

Remember bonelab? How their game changing mods doing today?
Does it have native vehicle support? Suprised it got some that look so well when others dont have it
No wayy, I gotta pick this up!
About that tweaks… do you know what weight is?

Wait wiat wait, buddy! Slow down with these mods things. I haven't managed with the FUS mod for Skyrim VR yet! xD
Very great
5:26 Not sure it's an issue and not simulation of aim loss when moving. TWD:S&S have this thing too, but probably not so strong

Very cool, but still a wave sandbox.

Is it on quest?
👍👍👍👍
You do know bonelab did this right?
Just for the fact of it being unreal makes mods way more accessible than unity
great game. But i have a fucking massive hate towards the "swoop" sound every fucking sword makes in this game.
Right… so what bonelab should have been
Why this game have better mods than Bonelab??
Meanwhile in Bonelab
Preying they make a quest port 🥲🥲
