I think the mod that changes all Cloud weapons model to Buster Sword is really cool, Buster Sword is the best looking weapon in the game, well at least in my opinion lol.
lol yeah I agree, the ultima weapon is a favorite of mine ever since I first seen it back in the day. But for sure the buster sword is just legendary
So much has changed in the past year: Completed Echo-S, BerZerker's and MH's models. Do you know if there are any other major projects being worked on right now that would be worth waiting for?
Your right about all that. To be honest I haven’t heard anything, I believe tsunamods is working on ff9 now for the voice acting, that was awhile ago I haven’t kept up with it. I did hear about someone saying they want to upload the ever crisis mobile game character models to the OG game once they’re all available, not sure though

I currently have installed the SYW5 mod on the game and I open it thourgh SYW5 control panel, it is safe to install the 7th heaven manager on top of this? I don't want to loose al the progress that I made on the story
Im not familiar with that control panel, but I don’t think the save will transfer over not sure though
I want to try the Echo voice acting mod, but I don't want to update 7th Heaven and it's not working with an older version. How likely is it that updating 7th Heaven will break all my mods? It was such a pain in the ass to get them working the first time...
Whats the build on your 7th heaven? I’ve been switching back and forth from 3.1.0.0 to 3.1.0.6 and haven’t had an issue. I did notice that all the mods work now with the stable build. What mods are you using?
@@OtenP_ I'm using 7th Heaven v2.0.3.406, the Remako HD graphics mod, all the Qhimm catalog texture and model mods, Bonez modern spell names, and Tsunamods arranged soundtrack and battle textures. I'm also using the original PC disc, NOT the Steam version
Hello OtenP, can you tell me, did you also felt that the game difficulty was changed when using 7th heaven mod. I am using almost the same mods as you and watch your videos to get an idea about all to have something for me. But for me the game difficutly feels odd, the bosses are so weak, the first enemys in Midagar only do like 2-6 damage. Cloud does 1400+ damage with Braver on Air-Buster boss.... The mods I found that change the difficulty in the catalog aren´t compatibel with echo-s.... Any idea what could be done to have atleast the normal experience or a little bit more challanging and still use the nice looking mods with voice. Thanks in advice.
👋🏼 hey there, so I hadn’t played the OG since back in 2014ish when they released on consoles, but I felt the game the same honestly. The original FF7 game is fairly ok the easy side until you get to the super bosses but even they can be beaten pretty easy with the right gear and materia. With all that being said I also wish there was a way to bump up the difficulty as well as being able to keep the voice acting. Hopefully someday
Hi@@OtenP_ I found that the New threat 2.0 combat only mod actually works with echo-s. You can use it, and put it on top of all mods. And it will rebalance the fight. For the beginning it feels like the battles got a little bit harder and the enemys do more damage. All the other "New threat" mods appear not to work, but this one is fine.

@@OtenP_ Your welcome! I found it cause I could not believe people play the game as it was totally unbalanced. Enemies are too weak, and limit gauge is filling up like reels on tiktok.
With the New-treath 2.0 comabt only there are lots of changes. Still the limit fills up fast, but the rest seems more challenging. Normal enemies now hit with 20-60-100 dmg instead of 6-15-35 at the beginning (Shinra Building) but potions also restore 300HP now making them more useful over longer time. I also have the pleasure to clear the game with the new mods for first time. Back then when I 1st time played it (more than an decade now) only till disc 3.
My fav FF is IX and cannot wait till they make the voices for them also :)

So its been a few months since you uploaded this video. ModdersHaven content isn't supported anymore. I mean I can import it into 7th Heaven, but can't config the mods. Anything I can do about that? If not, anything you would recommend to replace it?
That’s odd, are you sure you downloaded the correct ones? I just checked my 7th heaven and I’m still able to configure mine
Ah you're right. I downloaded all the texture packs (aside from the HD field scenes) . Those don't seem to work. Ill just delete those.
@@OtenP_ Last question, since everything else seems to be working... how do I start the game in true full screen? When the game launches, it's in windowed mode, when I expand it, there's still a bit of my desktop at the top there.
@@ClyntHollows go to "settings" --- "game driver"---- under the graphics tab, you will see "window mode" switch it to full screen.

Seems like every time I install a mod 7th Heaven resorts some of my mod order on it's own Then I have to go change them again.
Try the refresh button, I think since they updated it they might have messed that up not sure, I seen more people experiencing that
@@OtenP_ I am dumb, there is a default option to always sort. I turned it off, all good now.
I am all modded and playing. It's freaking amazing. There were a few outdated things in your videos you might need to comment and update.
Ie using the FF7 HD Field Scenes now requires disabling SYW Unified Field (Tsuna)
Also if you put those in the wrong order things will be all jacked up but I think you did mention that in the video :)
Thanks for the guides, super helpful and the game is incredible. I want to replay it all the way beore FF7 Rebirth comes out (unlikely though lol)

Yeah I did notice that I maybe dude for an update mod list tutorial considering everything that has come out lol. Also correct, if you stick with the HD field scenes they don’t work too well with the SYW ones. So you have to pick one.
Really glad you and more people are checking out these mods before rebirth. I’ve gotten a lot of comments recently and it puts a smile on my face knowing more fans are trying this out.

@@OtenP_Hey any idea on the FF7 HD Field stuff. When on their website the DL there are All 108 scenes and then there is the Project Edge dl. You said to use the Project Edge one which I am but most of the field scenes look like AI upscaled weird images and don't look like the ones on preview on that website. Confused about the difference in the downloads and which ones are which. I thought the Project Edge were like newer not AI generated looking ones.

@@OtenP_ tuve que desactivar 2 cosas ya que me daba error con los textos en español desactive las voces en ingles y Expanded icons ya que es english language only el juego se ve hermoso es la primera vez que jugare el Final Fantasy VII Original porque solo me pase el remake🥰
