- Yes, I've done it again. I have figured out yet another 'trick' to easily beat a boss enemy.
This time, it's Sahelanthropus' turn to be made to look like a fool, as I easily take him down.
Plus as a bonus, I also show how to counter all of his attacks and complete all mission tasks!

Why the text to speech program? Five reasons:
1. Originally my mic wasn't working (motherboard connection problem).
2. I also wished to remain anonymous (what with uploading copyrighted material and all).
3. This method proved to be more convenient
4. It sounds more professional, like those voiceovers in documentaries. Sure it also sounds unnatural sometimes, but it is still the clearest, most human sounding voice out there at the moment.
5. I am currently in a noisy environment where it is sometimes impossible to record a voice commentary without interruptions. So even if I do decide to use my own voice, it will not be anytime soon.

This is actually one of the best guides I have seen about the Sahelantropus fight, since it goes in depth about its attacks.
I was driving in circles with the Walker Gear, shooting 50-100 Gatling rounds at a time. The Extreme version took me almost 3 hours. :/

using many of these strategies i was able to take the boss down on the first try, thanks! i did use air support a couple times which does make the fight even easier to manage...great video !

I was flipping my shit because every time I took him down to his last ten percent by running around with the D-Walker he would just jump up close to me and trigger that thing wear time slows and mantis appears and then he insta kills you with his bullshit laser when you can’t escape it’s hit. Omg your life saver was stuck for ages I'm so thankful
here's a tip for everyone who has low tier weapons and wants to beat sahelanthrophus:
1) call multiple supply drops
2) when sahelanthrophus uses his rail gun from afar, hide behind the cliff behind the tower
3) use islando grenade launcher with any missile launcher of your choice.
4) always shoot when sahelanthrophus takes out his sword. his stomach part is most vulnerable then.
I defeated sahelanthrophus(extreme) just an hour ago, in 5 min using this. I am no pro. Just follow this video and the few tips that i have given and sahelanthrophus will be a piece of cake.
btw, don't be afraid to retry. i got S rank and i had retried 3 times. Best of luck!

I've noticed when I hide behind the pylon that the rockets don't do any damage, even if they seem to land on me. Specifically, if I am on the opposite side of where Sahelanthropussy has launched them.

How did you get the CGM 25 rocket launcher for the First Sahelanthropus challenge?
As long as you stay near him most of his attacks cannot hit you, save for his crotch flamethrower , it took me 70 minutes with trying to Run away, but staying close allowed me to avoid the BS attacks

when the spike encircle you just stay still, they won't hurt you if you don't get near them. this is different from his line spike attack, you have to figure out which one he using on you to figure out what you need to do
Why everyone use IDroid for supply drop, you have a suply flare?
Do you need a fully upgraded lancher or can you use the first one
I wonder if machines like that will ever be made. As dangerous as they are, its still badass and would be a huge step in engineering

it's also possible to bypass the red mist by destroying the white canisters
no it isnt.

TacticsTechniques&Procedures oh um... i only destroyed the 4 white canisters... but i still cant skip the red mist... or i just forget??
+S - Cʀaʄt im running on memory here but if you utilize the LAV, sorry forget the nomenclature, you can destroy the canisters by essentially trapping him in a loop. Although its a probable strategy its not a definite. it worked 1 out of 50 tries for me.
Thosearnt mist bombs there the hovering missile attack there are giant grenade on his legs that explode into the mist and they are indestructible so I can tell you got lucky and killed him before he ever used the mist grenades or he didn't use it at all or you are lieing

Using D-Walker equipped with the gatling gun would be a much faster approach than the second one you showed.

You can also hit the cylindral thing in the back for extra damage
For me, anyway, hitting those vertical white tanks behind its neck will score some significant damage, as will the spherical bulb about midway between its waist and shoulders...... when you see heavy electrical activity in orange.

The mist and spikes are archeon so they also destroy vehicles aside from just hurting you and limiting your vision
Stay in the middle of the spikes that encircle you. Worked for me
Holy shit. I beat this mission only in 1minute 55 seconds. Wtf. Wow, thank you for showing this trick. I think this tower is sahelanthropus blind spot, because he rarely attacks you. I only got 1 hit from his whip attack. I even beat him without floating boy has a chance to appears, lol. I use same launcher like you

+Dustin Boonie The open world format places no restrictions on when you have to start a mission. But it's best to play some of the main story first, until all areas are unlocked.
