Of course you can. I didn't beat the game yet but I have gone through most missions with the hidden No Traces bonus, ie you can not use R2 in any way, not even with support weapons like magazines. You can not make any physical contact with any hostiles either. In regards to your run though: You can use the Blast Arm punch to destroy communications equipment, radio dishes, etc. The Water gun can also take out most electronics. You don't actually have to shoot Sahelanthropus in the mission, the slow motion takes effect but nothing happens if you wait. The gun might have to be in overheat mode for this to work though. Traitor's Caravan is a very easy mission to do a No Traces run on. You just have to lure away the Skulls and then drive the truck out of the hotzone. Leading the kids out without using weapons or even using the R2 button is also possible, you just have to lure guards' attention away. DD's bark is useful in no traces missions in general. And the list goes on
Well you've fallen at the first hurdle since you can't get the water pistol until you save the kids in Africa and the Blast Arm isn't unlocked until you rescue the prosthetic maker, plus those are weapons. If you were to replay the missions after completing the game then you'd have access to those items but if you start a new save then they won't be available to you. Sahelanthropus also will absolutely kill you if you don't move during his slow-mo attack, Psycho Mantis appears and you're supposed to shoot him to stop the attack, if you don't he can 1 shot you unless you drop down behind cover. Don't take it so serious, it's all for fun.
Seen a few people comment that, but to get the Water Pistol you need to get to Africa and do Blood Runs Deep so it's a bit too far into the game before it can be useful. If I was doing this on a sort of NG+ style (Where I just pick a mission and play it with end game gear) then you could do all sorts of creative stuff!

You said that decoys weren't used for damage. The only problem with this is that the decoys can be used as a weapon and so can the empty magazines. You just got to know how to use them right. Not to mention there are the decoys that do non-lethal damage. So yes the decoys can do non lethal damage. Also if you throw a magazine or a decoy just right like I said above you can use them as a weapon you could quite literally hit an enemy with them and not them out causing them to take non-lethal damage.

@@KlyeKlyeKlye are miners and demolition companies combatants? Because they use remote explosives for blowing up stuff all the time. If you were using it as a remote mine to blow up soldiers or manned vehicles then fair enough, it's a weapon, but if you're using it to dismantle a structure then it's a tool.
@@DjDolHaus86 They aren't in a war zone 😉, you could make an argument for all sorts of things, like if I shot a wheel of a car to stop it, no harm done but a weapon was used, anything can be a weapon in the right (or wrong) hands. Ultimately, anything that isn't your fist in this game is a weapon in accordance with the game's stats.
@@KlyeKlyeKlye just trying to give you an excuse dude. If you really want to split hairs you could consider snake and all his assets weapons because they provide a means of gaining advantage in conflict. Bending the rules is the only route to success 😉
Your content deserve more views bro...hope the channel gets bigger someday
Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think you have to shoot sahelanthropus with the helicopter machine gun. It just blows up on its own
I tried that bit a few times but he always just smacks the chopper and it ends the mission.
Of course you can. I didn't beat the game yet but I have gone through most missions with the hidden No Traces bonus, ie you can not use R2 in any way, not even with support weapons like magazines. You can not make any physical contact with any hostiles either. In regards to your run though:
You can use the Blast Arm punch to destroy communications equipment, radio dishes, etc.
You can also just put the kids in a car and extract the car
On C2W you can use the water pistol to destroy the equipment!
Seen a few people comment that, but to get the Water Pistol you need to get to Africa and do Blood Runs Deep so it's a bit too far into the game before it can be useful. If I was doing this on a sort of NG+ style (Where I just pick a mission and play it with end game gear) then you could do all sorts of creative stuff!
good vid. I am MG Maniac so youtube recommended me this ^_^
Technically you are a "Weapon" And your CQC is using your bionic weapon arm...
A pacifist would throw hands with anybody.
so Ishmael does indeed shoot the guys, welp
This may be late but in back up back down the giant fort thing has a acp in the beginning that you could have stealthed into and fultoned it out it really didn't matter since you used d horse but thats how I would do it
water gun destroy coms and some electrical
I love your commentary!
BOLLOCKS!
Swear the 1st time I played hell bound I used the air strike
I will not count any occasions of harmful items used in situations where you deal no damage *enemies and characters* In short, it counts if you see red, but won't if it sparks.
I’ve seen someone do a running punch on c2w for the comms equipment never pulled it off myself
Pretty sure you can punch that control thingy in C2W, if you run against it and then punch it. Nice video tho, I really enjoyed it
I wish that was the case, I was there for over 2 hours trying everything I could think of to attack that thing, you can't even kick the satellites on the roof. Very odd.
@@KlyeKlyeKlye I'm sure you could do the bionic arm punch on the comms equipment because I remember someone doing that on a no-trace playthrough and me doing it as well
@@KlyeKlyeKlye It was this video ruclips.net/video/PRtpjoTgxsE/видео.html
@@thelocal-spider9623 You can use the "Blast" upgrade it destroy it but that would be a weapon and you need to play a fair few more missions to unlock that. If you can find a clip of someone punching the thing then I'd happily change my position on this
@@KlyeKlyeKlye I'll check it myself, by the way, I liked the video a lot, so I don't wanna seem like a hater or anything
Proxy wars: It's kinda me but not
Good idea with the parasite armor and the tanks.
I've never tried the parasite armor liks that because I didn't think it could be that strong.
Usually I just shred through the skulls when they try to use it on me.
I'll do the battle armor and bandanna because those usually save me from getting killed in one shot so I csn evade get back in the fight.
It's not very strong until you get the upgrades, gotta unlock the uber-viagra so you can make it harder and last longer.
I do wish I could play every mission in subsistence mode
playing MGO with combat knife only :D
Total stealth means if you get seen once, the mission restarts.
r/woooosh
I beat the man of fire at that spot.... ah shit never mind I used C4 to destroy and water tower, stunned mantis by calling in a load out on his head and then extracted him. Lol
Bollocks.
