I get the game has an anti-nuke message, all of them have had it. But it doesn't make sense for Venom Snake's character. Sure, maybe you dismantle all of them now, but fast forward to Outer Heaven, and he's right back to using a Metal Gear.
***** I know you are not Big Boss, you are the medic from Ground Zeroes. Though technically, both him and Naked Snake are Big Boss. I have finished the singleplayer, killed Skull Face, exiled Huey, rescued Quiet, etc. I haven't done any of the online stuff, besides one game of Online. But like I said, it doesn't make sense. Big Boss puts Venom Snake in charge of Outer Heaven (at least the one in MG1). And that Outer Heaven had a Metal Gear, which launched nukes. So he dismantles nukes, and then decides, "Hey, I actually decided I wanna use these"?
***** True, maybe he wasn't in charge of Outer Heaven for the whole time. But the fact still remains that he was in charge of it during those operations, AND was in support of a Metal Gear, which fired nukes. It doesn't make sense for him to so quickly change his stance on them. Then again, Ocelot's personality was kinda missing. He wasn't as flamboyant as he had been in previous games. And his sadism for torture was downplayed. Then again, that could be seen as following Venom's ways. Venom didn't want to kill Huey, after all. Surprising as it was.
***** I'm fine with the pacifist undertones, but it made more sense with Solid Snake. He was trying to rid the world of Metal Gears and nukes, to create a better future. At this point, Big Boss (and Venom Snake) are trying to establish Outer Heaven, and create a nation for soldiers, with the goal of creating never ending war, so they always have a purpose in life. So it doesn't make sense for Venom Snake to be dismantling nukes, when shortly after this, he is commanding the Outer Heaven from MG1, which has a Metal Gear, and nukes.
***** Yes, but Venom was still the Big Boss who you fought in the first game, in the first Outer Heaven, which had both a Metal Gear and a nuke. Even if Venom didn't like the idea, he still turned around and complied with Big Boss.

I stole a Nuke from some guy's FOB and disposed it and for some reason a few hour's later someone invaded my FOB and stole a Nuke from me that I shouldn't have had, so does it mean that even if you steal a Nuke from a rival PF's FOB and dispose it, it still remains in your FOB on is able to be stolen?
There is a window of time (a day I think) where nukes you get and nukes you lose are synced with Konami's servers. Inbetween that window multiple things can happen to the nuke. So if you get 5 nukes between each sync, you can dispose 5 of them and have 5 of them stolen at the same time.
I had never killed a single soldier in my playthrough, did everything I could to be the good guy, and then I developed a nuke, I never got rid of demon snake. Rip my good guy playthrough
Yeah. You can sort of relate this to current events. Some higher powers that be makes the gameplay so that any "entity" who makes a nuke is evil. To get rid of demon snake, do the dispatch mission a few times shown here: ruclips.net/video/z9WBtOvCvqA/видео.html
so I just built a nuke then a few side ops later I get a random call telling me to get back to base. I get there and caz says something about a rival is this mission based or was I infiltrated by another player or is the game trolling me. I have no intrest in playing fob missions. good vids subbed cheers.
Does keeping a captured nuclear weapon that you didn't develop yourself and not disposing of it affect your heroism/demonism the same as if you were to develop one yourself also whereas I never developed one before if I do is there a way you can reduce demonism without having to give up possession of a nuke?
I had over 1M of heroism points, accidentally push the button to make nuke instead of disarm and become demon snake. But then again, extract as many kids as possible in Africa and you will become life saver (over 3000 hero points. In anyways you will need too repeat as its not easy to loose that demon horn and blood camouflage.
+Pedro Henrique it is. takes a while though and its crap to look at. especially during cutscenes. I wear the Raiden costume to cover it up. And and to answer your question. you gotta save alot of children. I'm not sure how many times though
Developing a nuke gives you 50k demon points. To get demon snake you must get 50k demon points. Each kill you gain 60 DP. Episode 23 the white mamba mission, allows you to lose 2740 demon points if you extract the kids
They should have added at least one mission of dropping nuke on ..... no man island where experimented robots are kept to destroy the world... Konami and kojima custemers satisfaction should be your priority
Do you know any strategies to effectively maintain nuclear weapons without the risk of losing them? I've noticed some players who have successfully held onto theirs for a long time, but when I asked for advice, they gave conflicting information. This would greatly benefit me as I'm aiming to increase my PF level, but it's challenging with numerous users consistently having over 16 nuclear weapons and dominating the rankings. I play the game fairly and have invested in various assets like weapons, armored vehicles, mortals, plants etc, but it's frustrating when some players accumulate points without actively participating, solely relying on nukes.
You can't actually drop a nuke on an enemy's FOB or use it, it's like a passive shield that prevents your FOB from retaliations from other players. Imagine, if you tried to breach someone's FOB but failed, they can come back to breach yours right? but instead, your nuke prevents them from doing so! The nuke also gives you a huge boost in your PF's attack and defense in PF Battle.
It doesn't stop anyone now since just about everyone has enough hero points to invade an FOB with a nuke. It might've been a deterrent when the game first came out, now it just makes you a target.
Agreed, chances are your nuke won't stay on your FOB long enough for you to see it, also very few FOBs turn up on the "Nuclear Equipped Targets" list, and the ones that do are usually already being invaded by someone else. That is how quickly they get stolen! (Still and amazing game though)
That’s the only thing that bugs me with TPP is if you’re building something/sending a team out on deployment, it takes say one day. No big deal. But it has to be one whole day with that specific game turned on. I get it because people could advance their internal console clocks sure but sooooooo
I am not sure those batch deployments online would allow you to skip or speed up time because the Konami servers are keeping track of the time, not your local game console. So you can actually turn off your console and come back a day later and log in
hello edepot i have some questions if you can please reply 1-do you get heroism after disposing a nuke? 2-do you lose heroism after (stealing) a nuke from someone?
+Sahand Slimany Well Im not him but yes you do. Also if you do a FOB mission steal someone`s nukes. They won`t give you demon points since you didn`t develop them but disposing of them replenishes massive ammounts of heroism and if you keep doing it eventually you will stop being Demon Snake
+Dejhro Dejhro He had the AM MRS-73 NL with a suppressor and the Brennan LRS-46 scope and from the way his suppressor did not get rekt I would say it was (R2) And that's about as much as I can help.
I have noticed that customized weapons can either be blue or gold en color. If I am correct, blue color makes reference to a stun weapon.would you know to what gold makes reference? Sleeping weapon? I am asking as I am trying to find a way of neutralizing (zzz) heavy armored soldiers with a non lethal sniper. Not sure if that's possible..
+Dejhro Dejhro The color scheme is your own. I use blue for tranq or stun, and red for lethal. Color coding customized weapons makes it easier to ID them from your unmodded one.
i know its been three years, but can you tell me why whenever i raid an FOB EVERYONE is just E ranked? You have a bunch of S people all over that place. How?
Yoson easy answer. That’s because your pf rank. The game will match you with people of similar ranks to you. So my guess is, your pf is rank E or close to it. If you want to see better bases and guards, rank yourself up. While higher ranks can be fun, it’s a whole new ballgame. The defences can get absurd. Well hope that was helpful.
I got a question what do you do whit the nuke well I know what is it well is a huge bomb bigger than a normal bomb but what do you do in MGS if you have one do you just use it to your collection or you can actually use it and launch the nuke to a player base if that's possible then how do you launch it?
You can do multiple, but the update to the server is not immediate. You can get maximum of 4 nukes (stacked together) and see them on one of your platforms (same method shown in video)
+zeldaboy1011 I just grinded the White Mamba Mission around 7 or 9 times (lost count) and got around 74,000 Heroism for it all. Even if I wanted to become Demon Snake I couldn't, because my Heroism's too high! XD
People can attack you at any time. The only time they can't attack you is if you have been attacked already. Then no one can attack you for a while (2 days maybe) unless you attack someone else again.
Yo, I just got into fobs and when you joined this guy's fob, it showed he had a lot of materials but it didn't show none on the container part of the display. How do I know the person I invade is gonna have containers?
When you click to begin the sortie, when scrolling through the different platforms you can land on, it will show the materials that are on that platform.
I built a nuke... and as soon as it was done building i went to resources and it said 0/0 so either my game glitched or someone stole my nuke with in minutes of it being built.
+Jaxterpeace I built a nuke and then disposed it after a couple of weeks and then I became a demon. Now I'm stuck doing repetitive missions to achieve tons of heroisms to get back to being venom snake.
+Modern Snake To un-demon yourself you don't need to gain heroism points, they are separate from demon points. You need to work towards removing your demon points. This is done by extracting soldiers, animals, visiting the animal conservation platform and a select few other things I cannot remember... But basically it's the opposite of killing tons of people or building nukes. Also, once you go below the 50k demon point threshold it increases the amount of points you need to be a demon again, so at least there's that.
i wanted to get the trophies for building and dismantling one... i was on a mission when i got the info that it was build and after that mission i went to eat something... after i came back i got the notification that my nuke got stolen... now im sitting here covered in blood and building a second one and this time i will not leave my ps after it is finnished...
I too made the mistake of making one, knowing that I had something the next day and that I would not be at home. And obviously, I no longer had my nuke. I don't know how long it takes, but I'm sure it was stolen within one hour of being made. I hate this FOB system !!

Murch89 when you are able to fulton those big shipping containers, they go into your unprocessed tab. Every once and awhile, they slowly convert into the processed tab. Things you develop need processed materials.
13:58 this totally proves that you are not Simo Häyhä.
Why isn’t there anybody with a nuke in my “nuclear equipped targets”?
PLEASE RESPOND
Because there is no players with nukes left in this game. If you build one right now, you will get invaded instantly.
@@vmakh4725 mine got stolen the same day I created it
@@vmakh4725 Can confirm even in 2020, two players on Xbox popped up with nukes and I didn't even get the chance to invade because both were instantly invaded.
@@IndyMiraaga Yeah FOB defense is so useless I've upgraded everything all soldiers S++ but I still can't keep a single nuke.
@@aytwatcher5671 Keep your Security Challenge on and put claymores across the bridge so they can't ghost it. If they destroy or hit a claymore you can deploy in to counter them and fulton your own nuke so they can't get it. Means you gotta be super active tho. Also don't make nukes you naughty boy.
A "Competitor". Other FOB players can't steal from your offline resources, so it can only go up if you play FOB Missions
Paul Graham It's an one time offline main mission explaining how FOBs work.
My best guess is that you need CARGO+ 2 FRD to Fulton the Nuke from someone's FOB
These days if someone develops a nuke it’s stolen in seconds.
Does keeping a captured nuclear weapon that you didn't develop yourself and not disposing of it affect your heroism/demonism the same as if you were to develop one yourself also whereas I never developed one before if I do is there a way you can reduce demonism without having to give up possession of a nuke?
+StevenCodeBlack You can keep the nuke, but you need to do a lot of heroism stuff. The fastest way to remove demon points is to rescue kids in Africa.
He also forgot to say infiltrating fob with nuke enhances their abilities
A lot of players are hero in fob and still grieving new players
Heroism points don't affect demon points, I had 18,000 hero points but still became Demon Snake
Lol you need more then 18.000 at lest300.000
I had over 1M of heroism points, accidentally push the button to make nuke instead of disarm and become demon snake.
But then again, extract as many kids as possible in Africa and you will become life saver (over 3000 hero points.
In anyways you will need too repeat as its not easy to loose that demon horn and blood camouflage.
do you get demon point's for stealing the nuke and keeping it?
you dont need demon points you need to be a hero
yes you do
Life lesson
Do you still get minus heroism if you steal a nuke?
i have a question its possible to revert demon meter 100 percent . to back snake to normal
Not the point of MGS
Customer satisfaction ? You are the only customer out of millions they want that
Do you know any strategies to effectively maintain nuclear weapons without the risk of losing them? I've noticed some players who have successfully held onto theirs for a long time, but when I asked for advice, they gave conflicting information. This would greatly benefit me as I'm aiming to increase my PF level, but it's challenging with numerous users consistently having over 16 nuclear weapons and dominating the rankings. I play the game fairly and have invested in various assets like weapons, armored vehicles, mortals, plants etc, but it's frustrating when some players accumulate points without actively participating, solely relying on nukes.
Disposed nuke +10.000 heroism...
1000
very good video keep it up
how can I use the atomic bomb? I have read that I I can throw the atomic bomb on enemy FOB basis. how does it work?
You can't actually drop a nuke on an enemy's FOB or use it, it's like a passive shield that prevents your FOB from retaliations from other players. Imagine, if you tried to breach someone's FOB but failed, they can come back to breach yours right? but instead, your nuke prevents them from doing so! The nuke also gives you a huge boost in your PF's attack and defense in PF Battle.
it doesn't exactly stop everyone if someone ranks as a hero they can infiltrate your fob but there choice on who does it is limited to venom snake
It doesn't stop anyone now since just about everyone has enough hero points to invade an FOB with a nuke. It might've been a deterrent when the game first came out, now it just makes you a target.
+TBrizzle01 I cant even find anyone at all who has a nuke. literally everyone who played the game chose to be a hero.
Agreed, chances are your nuke won't stay on your FOB long enough for you to see it, also very few FOBs turn up on the "Nuclear Equipped Targets" list, and the ones that do are usually already being invaded by someone else. That is how quickly they get stolen! (Still and amazing game though)
Do u get demon points for stealing a nuke?
How do you change the color of your FOB? I only find the option to change Mother Base.
You cant
If you steal a nuke does it turn you into demon snake too?
Maybe it's a stupid question but can you shoot to nuke?
I'm really surprised the nuke is just sitting in the open like that. Figured it would be in a special room down some stairs or something
How much suprressor you need in one mission ?
That’s the only thing that bugs me with TPP is if you’re building something/sending a team out on deployment, it takes say one day. No big deal. But it has to be one whole day with that specific game turned on. I get it because people could advance their internal console clocks sure but sooooooo
I am not sure those batch deployments online would allow you to skip or speed up time because the Konami servers are keeping track of the time, not your local game console. So you can actually turn off your console and come back a day later and log in
If you destroy other peoples nukes does it remove points
Can you even use the Nike?
Nuke
Yes un this moment I am wearing the mines 👟👟....just kidding ...good answer 😊👍
Can you gain 50 kdemon points by stealing stealing a nuke also?
If you steal nuke from F.O.B. will you get demon snake/points?
No
What happens If you shoot It?
Edit:with letal guns
hello edepot i have some questions if you can please reply
1-do you get heroism after disposing a nuke?
2-do you lose heroism after (stealing) a nuke from someone?
+Sahand Slimany Well Im not him but yes you do. Also if you do a FOB mission steal someone`s nukes. They won`t give you demon points since you didn`t develop them but disposing of them replenishes massive ammounts of heroism and if you keep doing it eventually you will stop being Demon Snake
+Sam thank you very much I appreciate it
np homie :P
What is that golden rifle on Snake's back? which pieces do you combine to get it?
+Dejhro Dejhro He had the AM MRS-73 NL with a suppressor and the Brennan LRS-46 scope and from the way his suppressor did not get rekt I would say it was (R2) And that's about as much as I can help.
Many thanks for your help.
+Dejhro Dejhro
The color scheme is your own. I use blue for tranq or stun, and red for lethal. Color coding customized weapons makes it easier to ID them from your unmodded one.
Ah ok. Thanks
i know its been three years, but can you tell me why whenever i raid an FOB EVERYONE is just E ranked? You have a bunch of S people all over that place. How?
Yoson easy answer. That’s because your pf rank. The game will match you with people of similar ranks to you.
So my guess is, your pf is rank E or close to it. If you want to see better bases and guards, rank yourself up.
While higher ranks can be fun, it’s a whole new ballgame. The defences can get absurd. Well hope that was helpful.
also, Many people put E security to protect the staff
What would happen if you throw a grenade to the nuke of enemy FOB?
+Centa Urss nothing happens, it won't detonate the nuke if that is what you thought
Wait does building a nuke decrease heroism or increase demon points?
Both
Thats a trapped question
I got a question what do you do whit the nuke well I know what is it well is a huge bomb bigger than a normal bomb but what do you do in MGS if you have one do you just use it to your collection or you can actually use it and launch the nuke to a player base if that's possible then how do you launch it?
Zarak Khan no, People who dont have one can't invade your FOB expect for heroes ( lots of heroism )
You can’t actually use the nuke. Unfortunately it’s only uses are boosting your pf grade a ton and acting as a deterrent
Can you just save, make it and reload?
It autosaves as soon as the nuke has started development. And again once it finishes.
I have a question, can you steal multiple nukes during the same day? Or do you have to wait?
You can do multiple, but the update to the server is not immediate. You can get maximum of 4 nukes (stacked together) and see them on one of your platforms (same method shown in video)
Does stealing an enemy nuke give you the same Demon Points as making one yourself?
No it's highly realistic this game. If the Americans take a nuke from Russia that was going to be fired on UK then USA would get praised same for MGSV
+John Miller So you are getting Heroism Points ?
***** Nice
Hate demon snake
Why?
same i can't stand it iv like being a hero
+zeldaboy1011 I just grinded the White Mamba Mission around 7 or 9 times (lost count) and got around 74,000 Heroism for it all. Even if I wanted to become Demon Snake I couldn't, because my Heroism's too high! XD
just 2 nukes
woow lmaoo +vampireguy 29
Building a Nukes and gets you negative Heroic (no argue with that) but placed it outside the mother base is completely no sense.
how do you unlock the nuclear-equipped targets tab on steam?
You have to reach Hero
ah ok thx
I have more.than 75000 gp tons of fuel and more than 50k minor metal but the number still red ?
do you get the - 50k heroic points for stealing the nuke?
I don't think so.
-1,000 - Dispose of a nuclear weapon.
-30,000 - Dispose of ten nuclear weapons.
+50,000 - Develop a nuclear weapon.
edepot Um wouldn't that be the other way around
What are the benefit s of having a nuke?
Only heroes can invade your FOB
Don't you need an ICBM to launch a nuke?
Mgs3 explained that.
when you steal a nuke do you get demon snake too?
No
Do you have a video about how to tra in the motherbase staff or to increase thier abilities?plz
help me please so if u do a fob mission will ppl be able to attack me then or cam they attack me at any time
They can't attack you if you reach the core without getting noticed
edepot ok thx
edepot I just don't wanna lose everything when ppl invaded me
People can attack you at any time. The only time they can't attack you is if you have been attacked already. Then no one can attack you for a while (2 days maybe) unless you attack someone else again.
DivideByZero ok
So, If i steal a nuke, I don't become demon snake for keeping it? Only if I make one?
I am not sure, but you can always remove demon snake. Search "edepot demon snake" on RUclips
See yall in 2022 Mgs5 fa Lifeeee
Yo, I just got into fobs and when you joined this guy's fob, it showed he had a lot of materials but it didn't show none on the container part of the display. How do I know the person I invade is gonna have containers?
When you click to begin the sortie, when scrolling through the different platforms you can land on, it will show the materials that are on that platform.
Fact one, can't keep the damn thing for more than a week cause it's in the fukin open
There is a timer of when it will finish building. Take note of that time and right when it finishes, visit your FOB and look at it. Then dismantle it.
I too made the mistake of making one, knowing that I had something the next day and that I would not be at home. And obviously, I no longer had my nuke. I don't know how long it takes, but I'm sure it was stolen within one hour of being made.
I hate this FOB system !!
guys if i complete nuke development in story mission it will contineud. i dont play online
You know, you didn’t have to kill everyone on the platform to get that nuke, you could simply slip by and Fulton it.
how do you leave the fob after fultoning the nuke? they were already looking for u
+Seto Jaiba Go to the Core, it is that yellow directional arrow you keep seeing when you walk around.
No if you get to the core you take more than if you don't, and if you get there or leave before being detected then you won't get a revenge wormhole opened to you
If i steal a nuke will it count towards the trophy?
What happens if you shoot a nuke?
Does stealing a nuke lower your heroism?
How does a "horn" get longer when it is a piece of shrapnel from a helicopter
Zachary Watlington How does psycho mantis read minds? How does Quiet do the shit she does? How did Liquid posses Ocelot? FICTION
Mate Bruv point taken
i turned into demon snake without even making a nuke ..
+projise12 I had a model swap to be a African kid and beat the shit out of eli so that's how I got bad karma.
Snake OwO Lol ;DD
I'm on Xbox but for F.O.B.s do I need online? As in Live for these events and equipment?
No.
+bubbaraywoods when do I unlock these events and equipment?
+TheWarriorPriest After mission 22 I think.
