    The two of you work like a well oiled machine,
    absolutely jaw dropping that you both can
    work so quickly, efficiently and proficiently!
    You are by far two of the most talented and
    skilled professional pruners I have ever seen
    in action!!! The fact that you can do all of this
    and get it perfectly level, especially on these
    enormously long perimeter hedges, shows
    how incredibly talented you both are. It took
    me about 5 years to get hedges perfectly straight
    as you guys do so effortlessly. I have been doing
    it that way for well over 45 years now. I gotta
    say, that your finished projects even surpass
    my abilities, bravo to you both! Beveling the top
    edges of hedges, whether short or tall, is a
    very elegant touch to your jobs, and I am
    sure sets your pruned landscapes apart from
    the competition. Keep up the good work, it
    is inspiring to watch and a joy to behold!

    Hi there, last year I had the same problems while cutting down a big laurel hedge: Branches were too thin for a chainsaw and too thick for a trimmer. I finally used a saber-saw (Säbelsäge). But when you do this, you will face also two problems: You need electric power and you will have to cut the branches down one by one which takes an awful lot of time which your customer will probably not be happy about. But for me it worked out fine. By the way: Great Teamwork ("Teamwork can make a dream work", as they say). Great channel - i will leave a subscribtion. Best regards.

      not just 'what an improvement'...its more like ...'what an effort'. Most people don't want to pay fair money for this kind of work. So in order to make some money, these guys end up having to break their bodies and their tools.

    At first: good video with a amazing result!
    But I Think benting your blade is not the goal of the game.I use a chainsaw on a shaft with the strongest Fuelengine from Stihl and afterward the hedgetrimmer. You may be have to the trimming twice, but the cuts a cleaner and not derstroying your expensive equipment are 2 good reasons.
    This is obviously not the prayer bush, but another way; just a tip from one landcaper to the other.
    We all learn while we doing, so keep on going.😍

    Really nice effort. I have a 200 foot of laurels just like this. Can imagine making the horizontal cut with anything less than a chain saw. Some of the interior branches are 3” thick. Does a chainsaw make sense? Again, great job.

    Wow, that was a drastic change in the height of the hedge? Lots to pick up.
    Maybe a chainsaw would of been better for the top cutting.

    • @kustorez777
      @kustorez777  Год назад +1

      Thank you very much, unfortunately the hedge branches were too thin for a chainsaw, and I couldn't cut lower because the owner wanted it that high!

  • @marybrookes712

    Fantastic job, but think you would be wise to invest in some tarpaulins so that you can lay them down to catch all the trimmings so much easier to clean up this way than having to gather, rake and carry , also faster and less manual labour too.

    • @kustorez777
      @kustorez777  Год назад

      Thank you for the tip, I don't always use a tarp because it sometimes takes a lot longer to get ready than it does to clean up!

    Car side mirrors are softer 😀 Did the blades bend because the branches were too hard or because of overheating? Were you able to bend them back later?
    And the blades bent. The bears didn't.
