Hi there, last year I had the same problems while cutting down a big laurel hedge: Branches were too thin for a chainsaw and too thick for a trimmer. I finally used a saber-saw (Säbelsäge). But when you do this, you will face also two problems: You need electric power and you will have to cut the branches down one by one which takes an awful lot of time which your customer will probably not be happy about. But for me it worked out fine. By the way: Great Teamwork ("Teamwork can make a dream work", as they say). Great channel - i will leave a subscribtion. Best regards.

not just 'what an improvement'...its more like ...'what an effort'. Most people don't want to pay fair money for this kind of work. So in order to make some money, these guys end up having to break their bodies and their tools.
At first: good video with a amazing result! But I Think benting your blade is not the goal of the game.I use a chainsaw on a shaft with the strongest Fuelengine from Stihl and afterward the hedgetrimmer. You may be have to the trimming twice, but the cuts a cleaner and not derstroying your expensive equipment are 2 good reasons. This is obviously not the prayer bush, but another way; just a tip from one landcaper to the other. We all learn while we doing, so keep on going.😍
Really nice effort. I have a 200 foot of laurels just like this. Can imagine making the horizontal cut with anything less than a chain saw. Some of the interior branches are 3” thick. Does a chainsaw make sense? Again, great job.
Fantastic job, but think you would be wise to invest in some tarpaulins so that you can lay them down to catch all the trimmings so much easier to clean up this way than having to gather, rake and carry , also faster and less manual labour too.
Wonderful job as always....but would a chain saw have been better and FASTER for that first cut off of the height? Then go back skim over it with trimmers? That was Alot of work!!!!
Car side mirrors are softer 😀 Did the blades bend because the branches were too hard or because of overheating? Were you able to bend them back later? And the blades bent. The bears didn't.
Where is this filmed at? The houses look similar and everyone seems to have the same hedges. Are you always in the same neighborhood? This was a HUGE job, which you guys excelled at! 😊

Turned out very nice, maybe the pole saw would have been a better option with these thickness of the branches. Please wear hearing protection!👍🏻😎
Oh my goodness what a Amazing job, Congratulations to you both👏👏👏. Would a chainsaw work better or not? Blessings to you and your families , stay safe and well 🌳🥰🤗
the way the trimmer refused to do the job at the last bit 😂 but WOW WHAT AWESOME WORK YOU GUYS DO
What an incredibly tough hedge that was!!! Glad you conquered it! It looks amazing! Great job!
That's one massive Laurel bush 😲😲😲
Wow what a great job. You both worked so hard it really impressed me. 👍👍😊😎❤️🙏
Thank you, I'm very happy to hear that!😀
Wow! What a job. It looks incredible, your work is outstanding!
Best hedge trimming video by far
Great work
❤❤👏🏾👏🏾Great work guys! So sorry all "stuff" really messed up your blades. God bless.🤗🤗🙋🏽♀️
I love your work!
Thank you!
Darn it that was a hugh job and you guys were determined and did very well.
Thank you so much!
Wow! What a job. I bet you couldn’t lift much the next day! Everting looks great, as usual!
Thank you 👌☺️
Good Lord, your hands must have been full of blisters and I wonder how many tubes of soothing balm you had to rub on your muscles to ease the tension ! The equipment did not resist but you did. Congratulations sir, that was hard, hard work with a perfect result.
Thank you so much, it's hard to work with faulty tools, but all in all it went well!😊
Hey, the editing!! To die for🎉🤣 bbbbbut yu scare me standing on that top wrung of ladder. Noooo. It's rickety up there. Ok, Ik you're a greenman sensei wit da cutlery but dag. Tightwalk gymnast too?? 🎉🎉😅💞
Thank you Nina, all under control not to worry, even if I fall, I will do a somersault, so it would seem that I planned it!🤣

Wow! That looks so nice! Great job!
Thank you so much!
Quel magnifique travail !
it turned out perfect ..I work with pruning and I did something similar recently ..in my case it was 40 meters of myrtle ..I hope that in your case the owner always leaves constant pruning to avoid this heavy work
I love to watch your work. You always do an amazing job. Wondering what country your from. Everything looks so beautiful. Thanks for showing your work.
What a great improvement.
Thank you!
not just 'what an improvement'...its more like ...'what an effort'. Most people don't want to pay fair money for this kind of work. So in order to make some money, these guys end up having to break their bodies and their tools.
Man you have an eye for detail , that is such a straight line ❤ well done . I wondering is the young man your son ? He looks like you !
Def got some balls! I personally would never put my trimmer in that position but if I had to I would def quote high. Looked nice too!
Thanks😂
Fantastisch, wie immer. 👍👍👍
Dankeschön!
Wow that’s really overgrown! Good job with pushing on through!
Really nice effort. I have a 200 foot of laurels just like this. Can imagine making the horizontal cut with anything less than a chain saw. Some of the interior branches are 3” thick. Does a chainsaw make sense? Again, great job.
Beautiful work - and so level. Sorry to hear about the theft: I hope you had insurance. Best wishes.
Thank you very much, yes it was unpleasant, but no reason to get upset and I have already bought new tools!😀
Wow, that was a drastic change in the height of the hedge? Lots to pick up.
Maybe a chainsaw would of been better for the top cutting.
Nice job 👍🏼
Thank you very much, unfortunately the hedge branches were too thin for a chainsaw, and I couldn't cut lower because the owner wanted it that high!
Fantastic job, but think you would be wise to invest in some tarpaulins so that you can lay them down to catch all the trimmings so much easier to clean up this way than having to gather, rake and carry , also faster and less manual labour too.
Thank you for the tip, I don't always use a tarp because it sometimes takes a lot longer to get ready than it does to clean up!
Respect to you guys great job as always 🙂 Looks beautiful ❤️👏👏
Wonderful job as always....but would a chain saw have been better and FASTER for that first cut off of the height? Then go back skim over it with trimmers? That was Alot of work!!!!
Car side mirrors are softer 😀 Did the blades bend because the branches were too hard or because of overheating? Were you able to bend them back later?
And the blades bent. The bears didn't.
Where is this filmed at? The houses look similar and everyone seems to have the same hedges. Are you always in the same neighborhood? This was a HUGE job, which you guys excelled at! 😊
It's in Germany and I work all the time in different cities, Thank you for watching the video!😊
Do you have a camera person? Or do you walk it around for all the shots. Cause that seems like alot to do and then on top the job at hand! Always wondered this:) seemed a very beautiful day there!
One thing I do not understand is how someone can take things that don't belong to them. But to steal a persons tools is really low down.
