That teen who waited outside for Jacob, Sally's ex-boyfriend, probably had zero idea what happened to his friends, but was actually lucky enough to survive without even knowing what happened in the apartment.

Sort of. In the original script, Hannah was supposed to give birth to a demon baby that would kill her, but right before they shot that scene Bava and Argento changed their mind and decided they wanted to give the film a more upbeat ending, so they changed that ending and then used the demon baby prop earlier in the movie, but they still left in a bunch of foreshadowing for that original ending.
That scene in the parking garage actually freaked me out when I first watched it. Seeing those people fight so hard to live and all die, that little girl surrounded by monsters while crying for her father, etc... it was so visceral and heartbreaking. The gore, the storylines, the production, the directing, the acting, the camerawork, the cast, EVERYTHING is perfect. The theme song from 2 is better though :)
Demons Recap: Oh yeah! It was the movie that used 'Accept - Fast as a shark' Song!!
4:20 He's an Italian reading in English from a German physics book? Ok...
I think the actor's American.
Mr world wide
Funny, Brad just reviewed the first movie a few days ago... and I remembered you already did that before!
You could make it a tradition that every third halloween is a sequelween, so that you always have enough sequels from enough movies, and still do some original content.
We lose Tony again. And he was one of the highlights and my favorite character from the first one.
Nice I just watched this movie a few days ago. Both Demon I and II are great but I think I prefer the second one. Stronger 80s vibe.
Perfect re-hash of Demons although you forgot to mention the pimp. Aside from that you covered everything important.
My thoughts on topping the dirt bike samurai sword? Chainsaw with roller skates
I looked it up. The alternate Doom theme here (even though this came first, lol) is called Blood and Fame. 👍
5:49 I couldn't help but smile at the comparison.
There are many things one could say about this review but... DARIO ARGENTO PRESENTA? As a native Italian speaker I can say: damn nice pronunciation!!! I can tell someone has been watching more than enough Italian and especially Italian exploitation movies LOL... jokes apart, keep up the good work!!!
I first started watching these two movies at the age of 9 years old. To this day they are pure gold.
" A decent Doom movie" fuck yes 🤣
If that happens, they should have the Doom Slayer saying, "RIP AND TEAR YOUR GUTS!!!!!!!!!!"
Oh yeah this is so 80s. Giving me many flashbacks.
the soundtrack sounding like Doom but the movie predates Doom.
Seriously. Hearing it at first I thought it was some copyright safe knock-off Doom music Brandon threw in to fit the theme.
@@JounLord1 Doom probably ripped it off this movie. These old 80's soundtracks were popular to the (pre-game-makers) of the day so it would make sense - if just to inspire them in their game soundtracks
Great shirt, Brandon!
The awesomeness of hearing Brandon mention my favourite band, The Cult, by name, almost makes up for the disappointment of Tony shaving his bad ass, Olympic quality sideburns from the first film.
If you stopped asking questions, threw your brain out the window and enjoyed the first one then you will have fun with this as well.
Yep. Demons is not meant to be a sophisticated philosophical drama. It's the kind of movie you chuck on a big screen, have friends over with drinks and have a fun at all the craziness.
Those types of Demons are way more horrifying than the Demons from DOOM
The Church was a pretty alright flick too. Both of these I revisit every few years or so.
I remember this film!
Wow. One busy October for you. Happy Halloween and Great Shocktober.
Demons in Space would have been awesome
Wait if they’re in the parking garage shouldn’t they be able to just.... walk out??
Security gate & underground parking. Nope, no walking out.
Although Demons 2 might not be as good as Demons 1, it still KICKS ASS!
Have a soft spot for Demons 2, loved the big garage fight with the gym bros last stand.
I once had a GF just like Sally before the birthday party, then we got married and she turned into Sally after the birthday party. Now I just watch RUclips videos when she's not around.
Haha now that's REALLY scary!
Seriously consider divorce. Don't stay in an unhappy marriage.
When the Demon came through the tv had me saying as a kid “Holy Sh’t!”
Even for an 80s movie that was a very impressive use of special affects
The second I saw her I thought, "OMG that looks like Sean ....", but before I could complete that thought YOU had to jump in and state the obvious. They say that great minds think alike..... now I have to wonder.... Brandon thinks like me? That's gonna keep me awake at night.
I' guessing the tiny gremlin things in both movies are like the demons' true forms
why only one pops out of someone for no reason I have no idea
Brandon awesome movie review as always
Ah I miss the 80's
