Ryenn you are such a cool dude and incredibly smart, not a lot of people can pick up something when they hear it for the first time. Your sister is an absolute gem and your mother has the strength we need all parents to have. Hope you're doing well buddy!
First of all, mom is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. I mean, the entire family is just GORGEOUS. And more importantly, they seem so intelligent, and kind and accepting and close to each other. Watching this was so inspiring, especially as a Black mom of an Autistic Black boy. Y'all are amazing!
I LOVE that you ask “why?” to make sure the person understands what is being asked, and knows why they feel what they’re feeling instead of regurgitating something an adult or other person in authority said. I just love it.
He is a heart touching child. Autism is a way of thinking the world. I also have social interaction problems. I like being exclusive with people and specially talk about music and languages. As a native from the United States I speak four languages which include English, French, Spanish and Hindi. I am interested in different cultures of the world, Indian in particular. I don’t talk much except when I’m with my friend Leo. We share the same common interests but when he goes and talks about other things that are pointless to me, I completely shut down.
What an incredible family! I see so much love in their eyes and the way they interact. I wish they could teach other families to have that much respect and compassion for each other. The honesty that they speak with is beautiful!!
My son is autistic, has adhd w/ severe hyperactivity, DMDD , dyslexia, mild intellectual disability. I totally understand this family as a whole, and individuals. God bless
I really really find ryeen very helpful in my journey of life with having autistic spectrum disorder and his sister is an inspiration too as I also deal with bipolar 1 disorder.. thank you both and your awesome mom for this ❤️❤️ I love coming on here and watching your videos because I need to hear word's of inspiration because day's haven't been easy for me.. thank you so very much ❤️
A you gorgeous young man, as you grow you'll flourish and make wholesome awesome friends along the way. Autism doess make you unique and that's beautiful. No such thing as normal, if everyone was the same it would be a boring life. 🥰
All kids on the spectrum are different. For my son, I never worried about academics so from a very young age, we focused on social skills building using many methods as well as self-regulation in various situations (anger, boredom, etc.). This has led to ongoing friendships, rare issues at school, etc. We all are on the spectrum IMO - we just need to learn and be taught how to navigate this crazy social world. Some of us just know how to do that better than others. Ryenn will be fine as long as he has a supportive network. In the real world, on the spectrum or not, we face challenges here and there, now and then. We have to find ways to get through it and lean on others when the tough gets going.
Hes so emotionally intelligent and i wish I could have been his friend as a kid. I 100% understand him saying autism comes with anger, it can be so overwhelming. Even as an adult now I still struggle with anger issues and had no idea how to deal with or even what it was until I was a teenager. I hope he gets the right medication combo that works for him without masking 💙
He is very smart and a handsome young man.Great job mom, awesome kids. Very informative but at the same time entertaining, the kid is hilarious without even trying!
This video really hit home for me I can relate with the daughter and my son his like Ryenn .Everything was on point 👉 we struggle but we are loving people .So sad how family doesn't see it honestly they think we are playing the victim 😪.
What incredible strengths this young boy and his sister have! Their mother deserves so much credit for giving them such an emotionally safe home to grow up in. Parents often receive so much criticism when their children are difficult for others to understand. This family has obviously been a safe and happy place for this sister and her young brother. As someone who worked with children and adolescents with disabilities that are not easily explained to other people, I am so impressed that this mother has given both of her children the emotional room to succeed. This is a family I will never forget and I would love to hear more about them and the way this mother has been able to help her children develop a positive attitude to life even in the face of some amazing difficulties. Thanks very much to the three of you for being so frank and ready to speak to the 'invisible audience'! And thank you, 'SBbySK' for this interview and the tactful and kind way that it was done.
@@AmeliaEarhart537 May I ask why if u don't mind? And honestly I know it's hard sometimes to live with autism and I know how it feels like when there's things that other people with non special needs does thing that some it's hard for us and we don't but at the same we are all normal even we have disabilities and everyone is smart in our own way, I always know from a wise person one word said if u love what u do don't stop and also he also said life is tough but u are tougher and always make sure to keep trying things that u love never give up or lose hope ✨
This family needs to watch Temple Grandin. His school is failing him. He’s gifted- he should be challenged- NOT given medication to “sit still”. He catches on fast, so give him extra work or up the difficulty! Or his class can let him work on something else academic, like programming, while they repeat the subject.
I wish Montessori and/or Waldorf schools were offered publicly for older kids because I think a lot of kids for whom it’s not accessible (due to costs, locations, or staff that “forget” to call back after parent describes child’s differences, etc.) would really benefit from such schools because kids are able to learn and go forward with subject matter or a project more at their own pace and have more freedom of physical movement and have greater opportunities to chose whether and when to work alone or in a group. It seems like both of these kids, but especially Ryan, would benefit from such an environment.
Your a beautiful young boy , We are all different darling ,& yes you are unique in a wonderful way , You deserve all the friends in the world 🌏 You are wonderful Chris 🇺🇸 Love from Australia 🇦🇺
Ryenn, you’re not rude! I know how it feels to be told I’m being rude and I don’t realize it, because I’m autistic and I honestly don’t mean to be rude! But the way I say things can either come out wrong or I say something that sounds mean in a metaphorical way, but I mean it literally, which can be WILDLY different than how most people would interpret it. You’re not alone, Ryenn❤
I love his independent thinking and directness, then again, I'm the same way. "Bluntness" "rudeness" ...aw come on, he just doesn't mince words and neither do I. It's the best way to be IMO. Thumbs up to this and thumbs up to his Mum for letting him think and act freely.

You really are a supercool family!
What beautiful people. Exceptionally great looking: Mom, the son and the daughter. Very intelligent boy.
He reminds me of me when i was younger, his voice was similar to my old one.
This kid reminds me of myself when I was around his age. I was never in special ed, but his experiences are sort of relatable for me.
