He seems very smart for his age and I believe he will be fine as he grows older. He will understand why things were the way they were with age.

Wow. I feel like I’ve learnt a lot from Griffin. He is so mature and good kid. After 2 years i would love to see them again in this channel. Could you make another interview with them. Please
I think I get what you’re saying and yes the older brother does have to adjust in a way that no one would truly understand unless you have a down syndrome little brother. I do believe though this is going to make him a better person as he grows up, learning patience and loving unconditionally. His job as a big brother is just a little bigger, and he’s luckier for it.
Griffin is a good boy and great big brother. He is Turner's hero. Turner is a natural entertainer. He's so funny. Meow meow. I know they're having a lot on their plates but Kudos to the parents.
This was the very first video I saw when I learned about SBSK. It has always had a special place in my heart. This is also the first video I tell people to watch when I tell them about your channel. Griffin and Turner are two amazing brothers! The parents have done an awesome job in raising these terrific boys. Griffin has it going on, as far as how he treats Turner. He knows when to give big brother tough love, big brother protection, big brother guidance, etc. I would love to watch updates to these two in they years to come. I've already watched the most recent, but I hope you continue to show updates.
Griffin I understand how you feel. My younger sister has down syndrome and our family dynamic growing up might have made me feel a little jealous some times. But never doubt that you also mean the world to your parents. They love you and are trying their best. Now that I'm an adult I am grateful for the love and hard work they put into raising my sibling and I. I love my sister to the moon and back and will always be there for her; and I'm sure all us siblings of people with down syndrome can relate to that. Love from Puerto Rico
I hope the parents realize that Griffin needs a life of his own let him do things with his friends without forcing him to include his brother in every little thing.(using guilt or not letting Griffin go unless he takes his brother) I speak from experience.Every child needs friends of their own.. especially as they get older.
They said that in the video so so so so many times. "We want griffin to be griffin, not just Turner's brother" and "I take griffin out alone once a week so we can have our us time".
Griffin, I hope you're doing well kiddo, I hope you're happy, you feel loved and you're achieving everything you set out to! ❤️ I find there's sadness in this interview. I hope the parents (&other families) were able to watch this back and were able to work on and change things to better their family and strengthen their relationships with each other. I'd love to see an update on the whole family, especially interviewing Griffin, though that may have to wait until he's older🤷🏾♀️.
Such a beautiful brother relationship, I think Griffin is a very wise young man, and I think Turner has a strong personality, two cute brothers, they are adorable. I wish for them both, lots of happiness. 😊❤
That Griffin and Turner truly are the most adorable brothers ever💜💜 I see sadness in sweet little Griffin, both boys need the same amount of love, attention and time from their parents, wishing the best for both boys, sending them prayers and big hugs...
I admire the words his brother chose. So wise when it comes to their relation and his awareness for their bond and his brother in general. That‘s very rare. I know I‘m not the one to assess that but he seems a little sad in this video too.
I also think it's Griffin being mellow like his dad and also extremely patient and tolerant by choice and also by force LMAO. I think he is an amazing brother to Turner. Griffin is so introverted and protective and Turner is an extroverted hoot!!! It's a good balance.
I feel so sorry for Griffin… He says the things 😢that everyone else wants him to say! Griffin is showing hurt. These parents have 100% failed PRECIOUS GRIFFIN!! As a child of six my wonderful Mama made each one of us ( 70 to 60 years old) feel that we were her FAVORITE CHILD!
My cousin Susanne was one of those extraordinary human beings. She was so joyful, sweet funny. Dad, when you spoke about going to the Mall with Turner, to give the shoppers the awesome joy experience of Turner!!! EXACTLY. Suzy's #1 knock, knock joke. Suzy: Knock, knock. "Who's there?" Suzy : "It's me!" She was an artist. She would have been 60 this fall. "Heart. Back in the olden days they left those 7 holes!" Turner and Griffin thank you!! And an extra thank you to your folks, of course! 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
First, mad respect for the parents for introducing the ICONIC Beastie Boys to your kids! Second, this was a great and honest interview and I really loved the insight. Third, incredible family with TWO outstanding boys who I know will succeed on life. Last note, even with “typical kids” you can’t coddle them, you have to teach them how to lose and how it leads to improvement… his brothers insight into how the real world works is only going to help his lil bro and make him stronger! Griffin is wise beyond his years… something to. Be proud of!
Well said! And Griffin may be restraining himself for the interview but I get the impression that he probably gives as good as he get. Which is enough normal!
Griffin is so lucky to have Turner! Turner is a gift. He is phenomenal and he teaches us all what it means to be human. Love you Griffin and Turner. And your beautiful parents!
I love how honest this interview is! There’s ups and downs in all things and the struggles in this family are making each individual stronger. Well done Chris on portraying the blessings and challenges of life.
I've watched this several times since it's been put out. I love the bond between these boys. It melts my heart. Turner is a hoot, and Griffin has a wonderful heart. 👏
The parents both really need some alone quality time with Griffin. The parents are treating Griffin like a third parent and coming down on Griffin when he wants time away from Turner. It needs to be okay to have his own alone time. And yes, Turner is disabled but he’s able to understand a lot. He throws a lot of temper tantrums and gets away with a lot that he shouldn’t. But if Griffin did the same, I’m guessing he’d get punished. Two standards. I have a feeling as he gets older he’s going to be leaving Turner behind a lot. I was the oldest and my parents did the same thing. I was always having to be responsible for my brothers. I never had a childhood because of responsibilities. The parents really need to hold Turner accountable and find ways to discipline him also. Stop feeling like Turner feels sorry for his disorder. You are imputing your feelings of guilt on Turner and he exploits this. It really isn’t fair to his brother and it’s not fair to him. As he grows up, this behavior will continue and it is much harder to control him as an adult.
I had the reverse: my older step brothers were always dragging me along with them when I wanted nothing to do with them. I was so relieved when they moved out.
I hope this family have some support for mental health going forward. They have a tough job. Every family member seems very miserable and defeated. They've made a lovely house, but it doesn't give the feelings of being a home.
Tuner has such a superb attitude and so energetic. Griffin is sucha loving, mature, intelligent boy. Turner is blessed to have Griffin as his elder brother.
Griffin a good big brother ❤ its never easy being an older sibling and no family is perfect. God bless you guys, i know you all have continued to grow in beautiful new ways.
I want to meet them!! We are parents of two amazing boys like them. Having a child with Down Syndrome brings joy and makes you realize how blessed we all are and not take things for granted. We couldn’t agree more in everything all 4 of them said. My boys and I were laughing so hard, at all the similarities they have with us. 💛💙
Not true, I think. Not everybody is an entertainer in front of a camera. He seems like a wonderful, kind brother. They fuss at each other, tease each other, and play just like any other set of brothers. Some people seem to be too critical and judgmental here about Griffin and who they are assuming he is and what he's thinking. I love the dad's response on advice. "I'd give the doctors more advice" Amen!
Yes exactly. Reminds me of me when I was growing up basically parenting my mom who has scitzoaffective disorder which is bipolar and schizophrenia on top of dealing with abuse in the house, Just carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, feeling like your feelings aren’t important, and that you were born to take care of the person. You just never gained an identity that doesn’t revolve around being the caretaker and the one who always gets the brunt of things because “you know better”.
I really learn such an important lesaon of life with this two brothers. "Turner have to learn how to lose In life you dont always win". I think that Is a big shows of love by Griffin teach His brothers that. And Iam sure that Turner take as puré resilience lesson for His life.. is just simply beautiful!
Ok, the dad! "You're so lucky you got this". I can't even come up with the words to describe how positively I feel toward this man after that slice of commentary. I was on pins & needles wondering what he was going to say when asked by Chris "what advice would give yourself (looking back) when you first received the diagnosis. I had no IDEA he would go where he went with that: "I wouldn't give myself any advice...I'd give the doctors advice". Protect this man at all costs...there's not another anywhere to be found on this planet.
Chris I have LPHS. It’s a rare kidney disease. There are only 800 to 1000 cases in the world. Could you do a video with someone who has my condition. It’s so isolating having something no one understands or has even heard about. I loved this video. Turner and Griffin are cut out of the same stone. I love that Griffin wants his brother to learn to stand up for himself
I feel like you. I have a Grandson that has downs and him and I very close. I have learned and Loved so much from him. So fortunate to have him. Love your boys!

He’s not overlooked because I have a little brother with Down syndrome and you have to except that they need more help then you. but I could see how you see that. No that’s not a sad excuse to say he needs more help than him

I write this not knowing the results of our testing yet , we had the markers for Down syndrome on the first blood test , just went yesterday for the diagnostic one . My wife and I already decided on keeping the child regardless . We already have a son , he’s 3 1/2 . Seeing this video shows me the dynamic / what to change / what to expect . Regardless of down or not , getting that news has forever changed my view on Down syndrome and people that live with it . It’s opened my heart . They are angels , they are pure , no matter what emotion it is , it isn’t malicious , it’s what they are feeling at the time . They live in the now , and love their families very much
That father realizing his issue with allowing Down Syndrome to be his son's "excuse" for not being asked to do certain things is so wholesome. I love that he realizes that about himself.
The older brother seems very exhausted for his age. They should make sure that he is okay and that he is getting everything he needs too. I think they push too much responsibility on him, and he has no say in it.
We're seeing 30 mins of their life, it's a little bit too far fetched to make assumptions, isn't it? Also, some people get a bit weirded out by the whole camera thing, or have bad days etc etc...
I hope this family gets some professional guidance/therapy to help navigate the sibling dynamic. Griffin needs time away from Turner with his own friends.

They complement each other so much! Such a nice relationship they have ♥️♥️♥️
My cousin has down syndrome (non-verbal) and he's one of the greatest things in my life, this was so heartwarming.
@@schneedgod I wish there was a way to 'pin' your comment
@@schneedgod Well good, maybe they’ll let Griffin have friends and events of his own, more and more often.
Griffin, I hope you're doing well kiddo, I hope you're happy, you feel loved and you're achieving everything you set out to! ❤️
I find there's sadness in this interview.
I think Griffin is soft-spoken. Sometimes wise people are like that. He seems happy - and playful.
I also think it's Griffin being mellow like his dad and also extremely patient and tolerant by choice and also by force LMAO. I think he is an amazing brother to Turner. Griffin is so introverted and protective and Turner is an extroverted hoot!!! It's a good balance.
Hopefully the parents will teach Turner to be a good sport when losing because all kids need to learn that.
Griffin needs a lot of Support!
Under a lot of pressure!!!
Turner is so funny he'll be a great youtuber!!
Go and visit him and be his mentor if it bothers you so much
They are truly a wonderful family. Bless them all with happiness, health, prosperity and much love, always🙏
I love the brother’s relationship! Griffin, you’re a great big brother! You’re a great role model for him!
I really hope that Griffin gets to spend one-on-one time with each of his parents since Turner gets so much attention due to his condition.
His dad did mention one on one with both the kids
I kinda feel bad for big bro... Def a bright kid, very patient, but you can tell who gets the attention.
Griffin is so lucky to have Turner! Turner is a gift. He is phenomenal and he teaches us all what it means to be human. Love you Griffin and Turner. And your beautiful parents!
Griffin seems so sad and dejected. I hope he learns one day that he is loved no less than his little brother.
They are both really smart and adorable. They look really disciplined and overall great kids. Parents must be doing something right.
I want Turner to have a RUclips channel when he grows up
they actually do! their dad posts videos on his yt, robscott
turner and griffin also have their individual channels
Griffin is an adult in a kids body..
I kind of feel for him..
Me to it’s so annoying to watch I feel bad for feeling that way
The parents both really need some alone quality time with Griffin.
Amazing boys and amazing parents. Thank you Chris for the interview.
I feel bad for Griffin. Look how hard his brother pushes him :(
I love how Griffin is teaching Turner what life is,that you have deal with it as it comes.
Turner is blessed to have Griffin as his elder brother.
i hope griffin gets through this!! i hope this doesnt affect hos mental health in the future
Beautiful family who loves their boys. Incorporates both boys likes and adventures. What a great family they've built.
Mh.. I feel bad for Grieffin.. He looks like he will soon need more space.
Little siblings do tend to cramp one's style!
Griffin a good big brother ❤ its never easy being an older sibling and no family is perfect. God bless you guys, i know you all have continued to grow in beautiful new ways.
Such a lovely relationship!
Love this family ❤️ thanks for sharing this. The honesty from the parents means so much.
Griffin is too mature for his age.
@Stella doll omg stop!
Righttt
Siblings no matter what! They just love each other and love has no boundaries or identities. Love is just love….
When these boys grow up, this video will be so priceless. I miss my big brother. I love this video.
I think Turner should have his own RUclips channel. I'd sure follow him! These two brothers are a GEM!
It kind of hurts me for the other brothergriffin,he seems sad and overlooked like dad and mom sings praises of turner mean while griffin nothing, parents sad excuses as to why you treat one o er the other alittle better,, what i know will happen is the boys will grow up one resenting the other,,im so sad for griffin ,turner fulky understands so treat them equal,,man mom and dad you will regret thus later in life
Yes absolutely true
I agree, my heart goes out to Griffin.
don’t judge, you have no idea what goes on behind the scenes
He’s not overlooked because I have a little brother with Down syndrome and you have to except that they need more help then you. but I could see how you see that. No that’s not a sad excuse to say he needs more help than him
@@leo-vr4yr that’s not judgement lmaooo
Chris you bring a Lotta awareness with children and adults with disabilities I love watching your videos learning experience for those people they have no children or adults like this very impressed
I honestly feel that Griffin’s tryna make his answers pleasable but there’s a lot happening in there family n behind that camera
felt the same
I love this interview and the bond between brothers!! I also really appreciate the parents being open as well 🙏🏻 thank you for another great interview 💜
Beautiful family and awesome brother’s relationship, nothing like family! 🙏🏻🙏🏻💙💙
Wonderful Parents - All sharing the sorting out together!!! Great Brothers!
They live in the now , and love their families very much
The older brother is an old soul!
he looks sad to me
@@Gorda_ fr tho:/
That father realizing his issue with allowing Down Syndrome to be his son's "excuse" for not being asked to do certain things is so wholesome. I love that he realizes that about himself.
I love the look Griffin gave his brother. So much love in it ❤
The older brother seems very exhausted for his age. They should make sure that he is okay and that he is getting everything he needs too. I think they push too much responsibility on him, and he has no say in it.
We're seeing 30 mins of their life, it's a little bit too far fetched to make assumptions, isn't it? Also, some people get a bit weirded out by the whole camera thing, or have bad days etc etc...
davvero
@@chinchillamdgamer They said “seems exhausted”. Our perception is undeniable. Poor Griffin.
I applaud Griffin and Turner! Kudos boys. Thank you for this interview.
Turner I love you and your brother Griffis, Griffy is so humble and down to earth, love you guys 💪Man power, from South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🙏✌️💕✌️
Would enjoy seeing an update from them. Amazing family.
that's the sweetest video I've seen in years, i'm in love with this family
How precious! What great brothers....
I hope this family gets some professional guidance/therapy to help navigate the sibling dynamic. Griffin needs time away from Turner with his own friends.
