I´ve created a nice movie which consists of all matt+elektra scenes but cos of utube's stupid copyright policy i was forced to upload it to openload. Anyway, you can still watch all of their scenes on utube cos i´ve also created playlist: ruclips.net/user/playlist?list...
All the scenes are listed chronologically, so no worries-its like a movie :o)
Still, i strongly recommend u guys to use openload because you can easily watch and download the whole movie, quality of the video is also better and some of the scenes have better cut.

Oh my.
The whole scene, no matter what she says, no matter what he replies, he's completely unreadable, expressionless. And then when you hear the door slam his facade melts instantly and there's nothing left but frailty and pain. His emotionless demeanour throughout the whole scene heart-rending expression at the end hit you twice as hard. In a way this is a good analogy for all of Matt's life. Suffering under a dauntless mask.
Bronze the Sling Much to Charlie Cox’s credit. He’s a brilliant actor.

People cay say whatever they want about season 2's latter half, but you can't deny the chemistry between Cox and Yung whenever they're together on the screen. They are VERY entertaining together.
The 2nd half of season 2 was 'Eh' but I completely agree with you. Their chemistry carried me through the rest of the season.
Season 2 was the Greatest. Better than Season 3.

Hand being uncompelling as an antagonistic force isn't a large con because it shifts the focus into Elektra and Matt's relationship.
people complain about him kind of brushing off karen but the narrative they built between matt and elektra just felt way more deep and real and the actors did a brilliant job expressing that on screen
I just hope Elodie Yung will comeback as Elektra in dd born again, and hopefully make them a permanent couple of the mcu. I love my boy matty, dudes a playboy i dont mind if he engages with other women and still be with Elektra it's fine but the woman shouldn't be the actress who played Karen Page in Netflix. Ughhhh

I love Mathew and I love how Charlie plays him
She is just perfect in this role!
The chemistry between these two is palpable, but so is the dissonance, and that makes their dynamic all the more convincing. Matthew responds to her trips down memory lane and her appeals to his better nature with a cold shoulder and a stoic manner, but breaks down when she leaves. And when he lashes out at her, she quips but her expressions betray someone who is visibly hurt, albeit in brief expressive responses. It's the subtleties both actors bring that make the dynamic so potent. They haven't gotten over each other and neither of them are willing to admit it.
Perfect analysis
I love how he mutters and twitches just after she leaves. His nervous tics are more frequent when he's feel emotional or upset. It's some really great acting

I love how they hid the twist about her working with Stick right in her first line of dialogue...

This Elektra was BEYOND perfect! Nothing against Jennifer Garner, but I love this version of Electra! She's sexy, tough and I love her accent! Also, anyone catch that Cloak and Dagger reference?

Between daredevil and the defenders.. this elektra is so much better than the elektra in the movie. Here she masterfully plays a weapon of war.. an instrument of destruction.. raised to be nothing but that.. but her human spirit is starving for someone. For anyone to care .. but no one can understand. No one can take her madness. No one can relate to her.. and no one can match her cunning skills.. no one except for matt

Even so...matt is a human who lives woth the devil inside of him,fighting everyday to keep it controlled and use to protect people,whike she is a weapon a literal devil in a human skin. They'both devils but ones a human other just looks like one.

God she’s just so damn good as Elektra. And the chemistry between the two is palpable. She was easily the best part of the Defenders, and I need her to come back when - not if but WHEN - they revive Daredevil with the rest of the original cast
I’d say Elektra is by far my favorite character from this whole tv series.
It sucks she only appeared in season 2 & defenders. I would love if she got a second chance to play the role again.
Most people didnt like her, season 2s reviews and ratings went down because of her and the Hand plotline

@@crimsonthumos3905 was it fault of elektra character? i would rather blame the plot overall, and how she was set up in this reality - the acting and the interactions by character with the others (mostly stick and daredevil) were fine, so was the general idea for her development.

This Elektra is the alter ego i've always wanted. So bad ass. So incredibly dry, playful and so damn sexy. You go girl!! It's no wonder Matt couldn't resist her. Oh and i just love that little hostile smile he gives her at 0:47. Gave me chills.

It was about 300k. It was mentioned in season 3. Not sure if his dad paid for some of it.
When Matthew says "No you don't, not anymore." I think that's both true and untrue. He has changed and he's become more of who he's always wanted to be, but there's still a part of him that she knows that no one else does, and his statement that she doesn't know him is also a tell that he doesn't want her to bring it out again.
This is the point in the series where it takes a VERY good backstory to explain why he kicked a woman like that out of his apartment...
God I'd love to see Elodie Yung play Talia Al Ghul in a Batman movie. She'd knock the role right out of the park and show casuals that Selina Kyle isn't the only badass woman that stole Bruce Wayne's heart.
They had great chemistry. They should bring her back
In this scene alone he has waaaaay more chemistry with Electra than Karen. His connection with Karen felt so forced. They should’ve brought Elektra back!

Her Accent sounds like a mix of English,French and Australian rather than Greek.
She wasn't born in Greece, her background is just Greek.
Elodie said that, given Elektra's wealthy and privileged background, she wanted her to sound like she has a "boarding school" accent. So you imagine that her parents had sent her off to some fancy school in England or Switzerland or something and that's why she speaks as she does.

This is why I love Netflix Matt.
I wanted Elektra back to see her new identity after she recovered her memories. I wanted to see her work with Matt. I love it when they work together. I remember when comics Elektra protected Karen when she was in prison, when she saved Matt when he was possessed. I wanted to see her develop as the anti-hero she's meant to be. Sigh, I wanted my spinoff where Elektra works to find out who she is when she's been used as a weapon.
Someone in my life did something to me similar to what Elektra did to Matt and I gotta say it's refreshing to see how Matt dealt with the situation. I'd definitely like to think I'd attempt to handle the situation the same way if I ever ran into her again after ten years.

Garners' Elektra wasn't Bad.I think that she wanted so much to DO a good portrayal that she did. But this little lady Here?....Sly yet terse,BEAUTIFUL yet Brutal,.all the while full of nuances that constantly tempt and intrigue. This WAS Elektra. Would be SO SWEET if the Daredevil cast was rewarded with MCU MOVIE Legitimacy. To see these folks on the Big Screen with the other Marvel Icons..........Would BE Marvelous.
I wish we'd have gotten her back after her beast mode in TD. TD Elektra was almost to her comics canon skill set. Comics Elektra is classified as an Omega Threat at SHIELD, same as the Hulk. The Punisher says she would beat him in a fight. I so wanted to see her go up against a fully realized Bullseye and she gets to avoid death by him this time. Karen subverted her death after all and comics Elektra v Bullseye is classic. He's obsessed with Elektra because he killed her and she had the audacity to come back!

Well she studied drama and Arts in London.. guess there she picked it up. You just hear an extremely slight French accent but absolutely minimal
Elodie said that she worked with a dialect coach for the role, because she believes that the French accent sounds "flat" in English so she wanted to add more punch to her vowels. She also wanted Elektra to sound like she was sent to a boarding school as part of her wealthy background.
In France they learn British English rather than American English. Therefore her accent is a pretty blend of the French and English accents.

Every man who has gone through this phase has that one in the 3, that when their life is chill, springs up like a Jack in a box and fucks it all up.
This one, She knows that any type of relations between the two of you will never work and that The whole situation is an like an impatient time bomb, eagerly waiting to explode. Yet these notions don't stop her as she bulldozes her way in. She doesn't care, and deep down neither do you, because the line between love and hate that separates the two of you is not only razor thin, but its as blurry as looking through a pair of binoculars backwards with Crisco grease smeared on both ends..

She was so hurt when he told here she didn’t control his life anymore. She reliazed he found someone else. So she broke her Hand character. Still they were meant to be together better than Karen.

I wonder if Matt ever bothered to listen to her heartbeat to see if she was lying or not. I mean he does it for Karen and others in his life but I haven't seen him use that effect on Electra. Maybe he knows that she can control her heartbeat to the point where he cannot tell at all if she's lying or being honest? Whoever they recast as Electra for born-again had better bring her a game because Elodi nailed it. Honestly it takes a lot of guts to approach Matt for his help after ditching him and right after he kisses Karen. And plus asking for his help in a legal matter that does require a lot of research and prep and cannot be done off the cuff. The wrong girl in so many ways. Almost toxic and yet Matt can't help but fall for her.

I'm so confused. The title says that their last interaction was 10 years before. So I would assume that would be 2006. But in the flashback of Season 1 ep 10... Foggy was enrolling into classes for 2010. So that flash back took place in 2010, before Matt met Elektra sooo. So either the timelines are seriously messed up because Season 2 would've taken place in 2020.
I swear to God, we've all got an ex like Elektra. You don't talk for years, and they randomly spawn out of nowhere acting like nothing happened, wanting to go over every detail of the past lol.

This scene… and the character of Elektra herself… hits really close to home. Because I too was left by a girl because I disagreed with her worldview. I just hope that, if I ever see this girl again, she won’t be as manipulative and arrogant as Elektra was.

Radar sense; Elektra is one of the only people he could honestly use it with. Plus blind people's eyes tend to follow the source of where sound comes from, and so when she's speaking it isn't unlikely for him to look toward her face. A normal blind person would be more likely to actually end up looking at her lips since that's where she's speaking, but Matt's obviously shown he can have better accuracy as far as knowing where parts of the body are. We have fight scenes that show that much lmao.

I really don't understand why so many people ship Elektra and Matt. I mean, the relationship is interesting and in a way I pity Elektra because of the whole Black Sky thing where she was pretty much destined to be evil since birth, but I think Elektra needs to get the hell away from Matt and I wish she would have paid attention when he told her to get out and stay out. After everything Elektra did to Matt... she's basically poison to him. Matt is sweet--when he's not beating up bad guys--but around Elektra while he was in college, he was slowly being twisted into a person he wasn't. Thankfully, he didn't let her twist him this time. Not after Elektra failed to destroy the goodness in Matt before she left him the first time. He wouldn't kill when she tried to make him, so she gave him a look of disgust, like he had failed her by staying true to himself, and literally walked out on him. And now she's back after ten years and thinks she can get him to do whatever she wants and interfere with his life? And the fact that Matt ends up having feelings for her again... honestly, I think Elektra is a total sociopath and considering everything she has done to Matt, the idea that he loves her makes it seem like some sort of Joker/Harley stockholm syndrome. Their relationship is toxic and manipulative and borderline abusive. Matt needs to be someone who will treat him well like Claire or Karen or Jessica or literally anyone but Elektra. They are like oil and water. So, yes, their relationship is interesting, but is it something anyone should want for themselves or something that should have been endgame? Definitely not. It's not healthy.
They are hot af. And Matt loves her. And she can be redeemed. The chemistry is insane and palpable.
