I´ve created a nice movie which consists of all matt+elektra scenes but cos of utube's stupid copyright policy i was forced to upload it to openload. Anyway, you can still watch all of their scenes on utube cos i´ve also created playlist: ruclips.net/user/playlist?list...
All the scenes are listed chronologically, so no worries-its like a movie :o)
Still, i strongly recommend u guys to use openload because you can easily watch and download the whole movie, quality of the video is also better and some of the scenes have better cut.

Ha! Ha! Matt Murdock is blind in the same that Ray Charles was blind and the same way that Stevie Wonder is blind,it never stopped him from getting ahead and getting what he wants in his life. That's always what's made him so unique if you think about it.Like Frank Miller said,a lot of Super Heroes aren't defined by and most well-known for what they CAN'T do.But yet Daredevil is best known for a disability and not being able to see. He's another one of Stan Lee's(and Bill Everett's and Jack Kirby's)brilliant creations for the ages.
@@arjunindrasenan9819 Yeah,also Daredevil like a lot of Super Heroes is supposed to be a good-looking guy.So that helps along with being smooth,if we're honest(Elektra even calls him ''pretty'',it reminds me of how in one of the X-Men comics,X-23 tells Warren Worthington that he's prettier than she is).
Obviously,looks aren't the ONLY thing that will help and if one isn't particularly good-looking,there are other things that can make up for them,like humor,charisma,intelligence,charm,personality,any kind of specific skill and talent,etc but looks certainly don't hurt,either. I also always like to say if you're not good-looking,then just be rich then it won't matter what you look like!

that moment when he introduces himself as 'matt murdock' but elektra still calls him 'matthew' afterwards, lol it's just that through out season 2 elektra never calls him matt, it's always matthew for her. And I think that's very thoughtful, calling him by his full name, the name his parents gave him.

If he wanted people to call him for his full name,he would've introduced himself as Matthew,not Matt.
Her calling him Matthew is a power thing.He wants to be called Matt but she calls him Matthew to show she has power over him.It's mostly just a way to flirt and seduce him because she knows man find confident and powerful women very attractive.

Well I'll just add that my name is Mike - short for Michael - and I introduce myself as Mike. That being said almost every girl that's been in my life whose meant anything to me has wound up addressing me as Michael. Initially I'm sure it's a power/flirty/seduction thing but it leads to a more endearing end. In my opinion it signifies a closeness that other people wont reach.

Elektra was diffrent. She understands Matt and accepts him as he is. He wasn't trying to change it like the others. Matthew's true love is Elektra. I wanted them to have a happy ending so badly.
what are you talking about? elektra wants the dark side of him, tries to change who he is all te time and wants him to start killing people like her. She wants the Daredevil, not Matt Murdock

What kind of comment is that there essentially the same person. Dareveil is basically Matt's alter ego without Matt daredevil wouldn't have a moral compass. His faith in the catholic church and his believes are what makes darevil their the core of his character.
@Cherry I don’t believe that’s true. I feel like that Elektra was the only one who loved and accepted all of Matt. Though she may have been darker then him and didn’t have a problem with killing someone she still loved all of Matt. She never tried to change him. Though she originally tried to change him and get him to kill Roscoe it was mainly under Sticks order but unsuccessful because she loved him. The reason she failed is because she fell for him and that I think is huge proof that she truly loves all of Matt. Stick even stated she failed because of love. If she hadn’t fallen in love I feel like she would have succeeded in changing Matt but she fell for both the good and bad, Matt and daredevil, and she couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t want to change him because she loved him.

I really liked Daredevil and Elektra in the comics, but this TV show made their bonding so much more dynamic. You can understand and sympathize with Matt and his unwavering love.

Elektra is basically a mix between Talia al Ghul and Selina Kyle. This further pushes the fact that Daredevil is kinda a parallel of Batman

Thats because the guy who wrote Daredevil in his current form is the same guy who later rewrote Batman into his current, darker, no-killing ninja self. Technically Daredevil is the inspiration for Batman despite Batman beibg the older character. Thats why they share so many similarities

Matt has a thing for dangerously dysfunctional women. Maybe its another part of him being such an adrenaline junkie?
I always got the impression that he viewed Elektra as a rescue project ("if I only love her enough, I can save her from herself").
But also being drawn to her because she is somebody who can understand and relate to his own Dark Side (even though she wishes that he had more of it).
He isnt quite a killer, but he is considering it.
I understand that aspects of the comics had to be toned down a bit for the TV adaption.
Its kind of difficult to sell Daredevil as more virtuous than the Punisher if they would show stuff like him cheating on his wife(s), manipulating other superheroes as pawns, and subjecting supervillains to cold blooded torture (things which he has done). He has also (regretfully) used lethal force on a few occasions.
A lot of that had to be toned down. they still kept the aspect of him being driven by rage, and being a very brutal vigilante.
He did give Punisher leeway in season 2 ("perhaps your way is better... this once"). And in season 3 he was committed almost to the end, to the plan of killing Fisk.

Maybe they had her study some talia for the character. I suspect Leland drew some inspiration from Crane in Batman Begins as well. As for Catwoman Im mostly refering to their comicbook counterparts.
I've been looking for some great swordplay anime. Had to watch some scenes from Gintama the other night. Never actually picked up the series though, I hear its more for fans of comedy than action.
Yeah I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to the comics. The only reason why I thought Elektra was like Talia was because of the whole cult stuff haha!
Oh yeah Gintama is lots of comedy. Especially the first few episodes, not a lot of action but mostly comedy. It really starts to show some awesome sword fights though! Just watch some fighting clips here in youtube and you'll see how amazing the fight scenes are. I recommend you watch the first movie because it pretty much summarizes the first few seasons in Gintama.

The little thing that I like most about this scene is the weird sort of flirtatious one-upmanship/escalation between them in the conversation. Elektra profiles Matt's entire personality based solely on his shoes and Matt then profiles hers based on the fact that she just profiled his off of his shoes.
She roasts him hard, but he has a good come back. Elodie brings such a unique essence to the character that really hooks, and that is one reason why DD was so successful.
My God, I forgot how electric (yes pun intended) this scene was. Watching it again got me sweating all over again. I really hope they carry this world over to the MCU cuz Charlie Cox and Elodie Yung are my DD & Elektra!

I want a whole spin off of just these too, they dynamic was 'electric'...their story line real amped up the show a lot. Also the two of them together was sexy as hell
When I saw Electra, sitting in Matt's apartment, I thought "oh, she's trouble!"
And I love the way she said: "Hello, Matthew."
If they incorporate these characters into the MCU (for real this time) I hope they bring back these actors. She was amazing in this.
Elodie is such a great actress. I have enjoyed her so thoroughly. She has a very fierce personality, in such a petite body. Always a standout in whatever she is in. I just wish they could come up with more roles for her. This is the problem with Hollywood; when they have a super outstanding woman, like Rita Hayworth, and even Doris Day, they don't know what to do with them; they want to pigeonhole them, in a certain kind of role. I am confident Elodie could do anything. We have so many action stars, JCVD, Stallone, Schwartz, Willis, etc, who have had huge careers. We are just not writing imaginatively enough. I remember Aeon Flux; that was a good use of Charlize. We need more inventive stuff.

DD season 3 was by far the best, but what disappointed me was the lack of explanation of what happened to her and where she went. She didn't die, 1
Because no body was found or we saw and 2. She was the only one who could have possibly dragged him out of Midland circles rubble. And Its even more sad when we may never get to see her again as elektra or charlie cox as DD. And I believe we would have gotten elektra back in season 4 had Netflix not pulled the plug, because bullseye would have been the big bad and elektra plays a role in the comic storyline

well, it's been told that she died under the midland circle, and that is what we are meant to hold by. but tbf, since i feel like there is a lot of unexplored stories, at this point i am like idc revive her i am fine with it since it is a new beginning, just bring her back, and just like you said there are ways to do that (such as 'no body, no perma-death' rule)

I used to think this was a start of a Batman Vs Joker kind of connundrum where the two opposites clearly meant for each other because of their circumstances, constantly assessing and analyzing to see who sweats first but....later in the season Elektra confesses to Matt that she was at the party to Kill him. She was manipulating him from the beginning 😂😂😂
Well she wasn't there to kill him, she was there for him to submit himself to his darkest impulses and kill a man, the man who murdered his father. Once he kills, getting him to devote himself to 'The Chaste' would've been easy, or so she thought. Instead, it is she who runs away from him seeing the 'light' in him, to protect him from her own darkness.
