Emma Gonzalez there’s creams one for your face one for your armpits and back and stomach. Stuff like that. I’m actually going to try these. I’m 30 now I’ve been going through this since I was younger than you. I had drysol prescribed. Underarm Botox. Facial Botox. The drysol helped the most but it’s mostly for underarms putting it on my hair and face was awful itchy and didn’t want to wash out. What kind of surgery? And no one thinks it’s serious or a condition even my doc. I did get an antichollergenic that works Robinul. I had to beg him for it. He said the side effects make Most people not take that. My hair would be drenched and I couldn’t wear makeup in the winter either. Told him this and he just said Im too pretty for makeup anyway.. no one takes this seriously which sucks because it literally deteroties my life if I forget a pill and your tolerance to them goes up eventually. It’s brutual. I used to love summers now I’m a fucking hermit mostly

    I can understand 😭
    Right now ! It's dripping!!!
Keeping a hand towel always with me, choosing the fabric that shows less sweat patches, avoiding socializing as much as I can and hand shakes and hugs as well , socks! Oh God. Nothing else than a normal moisturizer on my face, it is there in scalp too, feet and armpits as expected, it's worse in public transport. The list is endless for me but the most most THE most devastating situation is during the examinations oh God I can't even express that 😔

I was born with it, to a point that it was all over my body. My hands and feet became raw wounds and blistered. They thought it was a type of eczema. My mom cut my hair short and I was not allowed on the furniture without a towel. I had my first major surgery at age 11 which was 1986. For head and hands. Feet was done later that year. Right side was redone 2 years later. Unfortunately since I was going through puberty only after age 12 my whole body changed and I started sweating in other areas. It was never fixed again. I have managed it, but lots of other complications, mineral deficiencies, low blood pressure ect. It is genetic, my dad has it to a degree and my grandmother had acromegaly which sweating was a side effect. I was tested, but even thought I am six foot, I have a small to medium bone structure.

I always thought I had hyperhidrosis since I was about 7 years old. Never went to a doctor or got a real diagnosis, as I would explain to loved ones about my issues they would denote it or make comments like “maybe you need more deodorant” or “everyone sweats it’s not a big deal” now I’m 24 and even tho I still haven’t seen a doctor for it, after seeing this video I know that it’s 100% hyperhidrosis. I can’t wear colored clothes or grey or white, I can’t wear sandals, always have to have a hoodie with me in case I need to hide pit stains. For me it was always hands, feet, and armpits, but in recent years I started noticing severe groin sweat, sometimes so bad that it actually will appear as I wet my pants. I wish more people were aware of this condition and how difficult it is to live with because of societies expectations and stereotypes. Just because you see sweat stains on someone does not mean you should comment on it, or for any reason think they are not as clean or hygienic as you. It’s completely out of our control.

Living through this now and i have it on my entire torso and head/face as well...I'm 26 and i haven't been able to keep a job for more than 9 months without quitting because of extreme anxiety and being uncomfortable no matter how easy the Job could be I'd always sweat extremely bad and wiping myself all day. I hate this and the medication prescribed to me gives me horrible side effects I just don't know what to do. I don't have money for botox injections or anything so I'm trying to apply for social security hope fully they accept it because I don't know how I can work with this living nightmare
