I would like to see a dlc or maybe even short game about Charles' journey to Canada and Sadie's life in South America. They could do it like the last of us: left behind where it switches between the two characters every mission or two
Something i have noticed: Rdr1 and Rdr2 both have outfits labeled in directions. Legend of the *WEST* and Legend of the *EAST* this means that if Rockstar wants to continue this then Rdr3 will either take place north or south and Rockstar will not make another game with the main map being west. The story may also have main speculations of Mac and Davey Calendar being important. Arthur seems to have snapped when he found out that Mac died, so maybe Mac would have been close to Arthur as a brother like John was.
Yep Mexico or Canada regions would be awesome IMO, different regions and running across Native Americans trading with them would be amazing as well. Mexico would be wild with outlaws fleeing there etc. But yea I agree Legend west and Legend East so next game should be north or south
I have a very huge doubt I will ever be attached to any character more than I was attached to Arthur Morgan. Ever. But sure, there's so, so much more in a game than just the main character. I'll definitely spend hundreds of hours on RDR3 if it ever comes out.
Red dead 3 will come before GTA 6. Just look at the online business of the games. GTA 5 makes alot of money still and R does not have the guts to abond that income source. They will keep milking GTA V until millions stop playing it, probably until 2026-27.
@@bigpunisher9366 na gta 6 definitely coming out before cause Gta 6 online will make even more money for them and rdr 2 has only been out for 5 years gta 5 has been out for 10

Will yall give the jack shit up💀 hes not even an interestin character you can build off of and the wild west was LONG over when you play as jack, the whole van der linde story has been concluded
I’d love to play as a younger Landon Ricketts. You could create a whole new story and a whole new map for him. Would be cool to go even further west to California, and Pacific Northwest type environments. Like the Sonoran desert is the east side of the map and the Pacific Ocean is on the west. You could include Mexico again potentially. They could even throw in a scene where you may encounter young Hosea or Dutch if they haven’t exhausted those characters enough already
I think it would be great to have a handful of housing options, barn options etc, to create your home life while traveling throughout the story line so rather than the main character dying yet again. Maybe the character can have a life after storyline mode. Kinda like John Marston in rdr2. Maybe be a rancher where you have missions that involve getting animals building fences etc. In short put a little farming simulator 22 magic I to games so not only can you create a cool life but living each moment is like a whole new personal story mode. Just an idea.
One thing I really hope they do is make a chapter or part of RDR3 kind of similar to chapter 5 of Guarma in RDR2, they really wasted their opportunity with Guarma, originally it was supposed to be a huge new map where you could go back to after the chapter, aswell as MANY more missions, almost as big as Chapter 2, but they had to stop it and it reduced the size, reduced the missions, and prohibited the players from even trying to explore, which caused the missions to be stuck together, thus also causing people to hate the Chapter, I really really REALLY hope they make a similar thing with Guarma, it would be amazing, I would absolutely love it, I loved the constant war in Guarma with those 2 missions at the end and it was really cinematic, I just feel really bad that it was a waste and they really missed a big opportunity there
Seeing a little more of Mexico and the history of what was going on at the time could tie into Javier's story and how he came to join the gang and it would be cool to include Californios in there and maybe a reference to Zorro or Joaquin Murrieta and three finger Jack
Rdr3 would most likely be the very last game I buy But I would love to be able to buy property and build a house like we did in the later part of rdr2.
They should close the book on the Van Der Linde gang and start over fresh with a story in the 1850s-1860s. I couldn't care less about a western game set after 1914. And Hosea's and Dutch's stories are told. There's nothing to add onto that.
I would like to play as one of the callander boys being Mac, the whole story behind them being nasty brothers. I also heard Bill saying Mac is "heartless, but he had a heart", which kind of fits in the 'redemption' theme like Arthur is also heartless but further into the game he started to understand living. Uncle also mentioned he beat up 15 sailors in a fist fight so that's something.
Just so you know. RDR3 will be about how the game was formed, we will play as Dutch OR Hosea Mathew’s. The last mission of RDR3 will be at Blackwater leading to RDR2.
I honestly think and hope that rdr3 covers up everything that happened in the past, because Arthur talks about how he is been in the gang with Dutch since he was a kid, he also said that he saw his dad die so going back then it really wouldnt be a bad choice either
I still believe RDR3 should be about the origins of the gang and it ends around the time of the BW Massacre. Also think it could be about a completely different outlaw such as Black Belle or Calloway. There is an Easter egg where you can find John Marston’s hat in Black Belle’s cabin which could be a nod to a potential protagonist for the next chapter to the franchise.
I definitely feel like that story is over the entire Vanderlinde. Gang story is done. We don’t need to go back in time to learn about their origins of where they came from or about the Blackwater massacre. We already have that information My idea is that we just get a whole different cast of characters and a new, setting I much prefer to experience a brand, new story and grow with some brand new characters. I want to see what rockstar can do with storytelling with characters we hardly know again.
Rdr3 is probably 13 to 15 years out. And I agree 100% rdr2 was an absolutely amazing game and seriously can't wait for the next one rockstar is really bringing back the excitement for video games. ❤ seems like they are always trying hard to take it to the next level and for that I love them.
I am on Chapter 6, and I think that they should make Red Dead Redemption III Dutch Van Der Linde's backstory, like how was the Van Der Linde gang formed, or what did young Dutch, and young Arthur look like. And we will also know what happened in Blackwater. (I will not be reading any replies because of spoilers.
I would not say we don’t have to go in the past. It would be interesting playing as young Arthur, Dutch and Dutch creating his whole gang and playing in Blackwater Massacre
I think the best way to go about it is to be a little detached from Dutch’s gang, maybe a story about a gang in Mexico or something to do with the Indians, and have little tie-ins with the gang.
@@SgtFrogger nah that is not gonna work detaching from Dutch’s gang. Main point of Going backward is you play as Dutch and create gang and switch between Dutch and young Morgan
Most likely going to be a story about Landon ricketts, as he took place in the Blackwater massacre too and eventually wanted a more 'quiet' lifestyle which I assume would be part of his 'redemption'. Playing as Landon ricketts would also make a lot of sense as I honestly doubt rockstar would create a story whereby the main character dies again later on(Arthur and John), and instead have an actual happy ending which was what happened to Landon ricketts. But of course I wouldn't mind if the story revolves around Dutch's gang again as it would be pretty fun seeing Dutch Hosea and Arthur all in their prime
About the RDR1 Remaster, i hope they DON'T do this in this way.. i hope they make it as a DLC for RDR2.. i mean.. the world is there.. you just can add the rdr1 files in this.. this would be so awesome.. and this will make RD Online mode much better.. but ofc.. they don't do this in this way so i guess.. this will the next bad remaster....
It was sad when lenny and sean died so it would be cool to play as them, but it would also be cool to play as jack again in the future with better weapons
If RD3 comes out 10 years after GTA6, then if won’t be out on the current gen consoles. It would be the PS6 and Xbox equivalent. The PS5 and Xbox series X will also be obsolete.
I see a lot of people talking about how rdr3 should be about dutch hosea and arthur founding the gang, and ending it all with blackwater. But there's an issue with that. (Spoilers ahead if you havent finished or played rdr1 and 2) Now in rdr1, we have our main protagonist john marston dying, and in rdr2 we have our main protagonist arthur morgan dying, see the trend? The story is meant for you to get attached to the characters and go with them till their end. And plus, in rdr2 you have definitely gone through many massacres worse than blackwater, and ending it like that would end the story weirdly. It just ends on blackwater like that? I mean, it would seem a bit odd, right? Now to admit, it would be cool to playthrough with young dutch hosea and arthur but based around the whole game? nah. As a DLC, it would be cool, but not a good idea for rdr3.
@@disingenuous1834 not really the only way to countinue jacks story is to finish the red dead story with countiueing jacks story bc it can still be done they had us fight off the fussars military on guarma we can have jack fight in ww1 for the. the fundamental problem with rdr3 centered around jack marston is that it wouldn't be set in the wild west. The turn of the century has long occurred by then, and at that point, the story would be forced to acknowledge very un-wildwesty things, like WW1, and maybe even WW2. RDR1 was already pushing it by being set in the 20th century, but by the 20s and 30s, cowboys weren't a thing anymore. They would also be forced to implement cars somehow and that would honestly just ruin the feel of the wild west. In my opinion, I think the John Marston legacy storyline has been backed up into a wall, and can't be milked any further without it seeming cheap and unoriginal. I think we need a new storyline in a new gang with new characters maybe set in a more realistic wild west year, like 1875.
RDR1 ended the RD saga perfectly (and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that noone wants to play as Jack going forward; it would feel too detached/modern) although I would love R* to release 1+ Undead Nightmare remastered on PC RDR2 is seamless absolute perfection; nuff said. RDR3 need to go further back; to Arthurs and John origins, the haight of the outlaw era, the rise of the Van Der Linde gang and ending with the Blackwater Massacre.
Rdr 3 should be the events leading up to the Blackwater incident ending with you playing as Aurthur and wrapping up the story as the gambling boat occurs, and you all split to Colter.
unpopular opinion but sadie is such a generic and weirdly written character. A woman turned widowed badass who snapped and wants to kill the people who killed her husband... she got her redemption already. Charles would probably be a better choice but even then he's just not main character material. My idea was for a young Landon Ricketts from when he first started gunslinging to his prime or when he fled to Mexico. Either that or a completely new character
@@jamskinner soap opera: large cast of characters with multiple intersecting storylines. Sadie at the end of rdr2 is a loner and her story would be more focused
Landon Ricketts is (in my opinion) the best option -famous Gunslinger -Story in his younger times -Dead Eye (he told John that he was the fastest with the gun)
Yep it would make the most sense as he is also speculated to have participated in the Blackwater massacre which would allow us to know what happened there. The 'quiet' lifestyle that he wanted later on could be a part of his redemption too
honestly i think were done with following the story of redemption, i think the next red dead game will tell a totally different story unrelated to but in the same universe as the van der linde gang
I think what makes it so incredible and what they need to do more of going forward is playing it as another type of game if you want. Such as playing RD2 as a hunting game. All the hunting stuff. Or playing it as a gambling game. I really hope they do similar stuff with gta6
I agree, it would be great to have more freedom in story missions. Maybe it would be possible that the players actions/decisions lead to several different effects on the characters or the story ending itself even extending the gta v A to C options.
What the hell is that map on the thumbnail? Its literally the only reason i watched the video. But of course it wasn't mentioned. Imagine my suprise? 😤
RDR2 feels unfinished, I’m not just talking about online. There’s tons of elements in story mode that are left that make me feel like they just gave up on a good amount of things just to release the game. One of these clues is the feather icon that can be found at fort Briggs on the mini map. The town of Annesburg seems to be unfinished as far as general store and the giant tavern. The whole Princess storyline was wiped except her poster? If it takes R* 10 years to finish a game then so be it take your time but don’t give us a game that’s not finished and leave in so many clues that were missing so much “cut” content.
I remember when Red Dead 1 came out , but I didn't hear much about it or think that it was anything spectacular . I didn't find out about Red Dead 2 until a couple years after it had been released and figured I would give it a try . Loved the story up until Arthur gets killed and then looked into Red Dead 1 and understood why they had you continue in RD2 as John . I have played through multiple times and I still keep finding new things in the game . I agree, this is the best video game I have ever played but wish there was a way to make decisions in the game that allows Arthur to live . But since John dies in RD1 , I guess that is the theme for the game . Which makes me wonder if they will do the same with RD3, have you play as one character who dies and then switch to Arthur at the end of the game .
One of the reasons why online is not popular is because you can’t even see anyone on the map you don’t know where anyone is unless they get close to you it’s hard to have fun with other people if you don’t even k ow when everyone in the lobby is

@@mattsteelman3832that would make the player base pissed including me I reckon the story should be about the forming of the gang and you play as Mac callender or someone until the end the end mission would be the black water massacate and if u played as Mac u would get to see the conversation and Milton end up shooting him

Agreed. This is much more interesting to me than following Jack Marsten into basically GTA 1920s
Nah the game needs to move away from that story
There is 4 red dead games, when rdr1 came out they made a game on Facebook to promote rdr1.
I would like to see a dlc or maybe even short game about Charles' journey to Canada and Sadie's life in South America. They could do it like the last of us: left behind where it switches between the two characters every mission or two
We all have an uncle at rockstar but he has terminal lumbago. It’s very serious..
Something i have noticed:
Rdr1 and Rdr2 both have outfits labeled in directions.
@@Ghost-304I think a map with Montana as the focal point with bits of Wyoming and Canada in there would be pretty great.
I have a very huge doubt I will ever be attached to any character more than I was attached to Arthur Morgan. Ever. But sure, there's so, so much more in a game than just the main character. I'll definitely spend hundreds of hours on RDR3 if it ever comes out.
They haven’t even announced GTA 6 and we think RD3 is gonna come out in the next decade 😂
when someone leaked the gta 6 clips rockstar tweeted about it
Red dead 3 will come before GTA 6. Just look at the online business of the games. GTA 5 makes alot of money still and R does not have the guts to abond that income source. They will keep milking GTA V until millions stop playing it, probably until 2026-27.

I think part 4 will be about Jack's story. Part 3 will be about the gang in there younger stage, leading up to black water from previous years. We need to see when they founded the gang and young Arthur.
More like how Dutch recruited the core members of the gang...but I agree more prequels can be made

5:01 if you check the current newspaper as Jack you'll find out that Landen Ricketts dies in his sleep in Mexico in 1914 sorry guys
I was about to to comment that😂
I’d love to play as a younger Landon Ricketts.
A Bass Reaves Storyline would be very cool and unique
Different locations/ all weathers
Different horses,
More hair styles/
Cuter clothes.
Great idea!
7:12 idk. This feels like a stretch. When does that happen?
what if rdr3 is a flashback of blackwater
You pretty much covered it. The wait is killing me. I know it's going to be great. 🤠
One thing I really hope they do is make a chapter or part of RDR3 kind of similar to chapter 5 of Guarma in RDR2, they really wasted their opportunity with Guarma, originally it was supposed to be a huge new map where you could go back to after the chapter, aswell as MANY more missions, almost as big as Chapter 2, but they had to stop it and it reduced the size, reduced the missions, and prohibited the players from even trying to explore, which caused the missions to be stuck together, thus also causing people to hate the Chapter, I really really REALLY hope they make a similar thing with Guarma, it would be amazing, I would absolutely love it, I loved the constant war in Guarma with those 2 missions at the end and it was really cinematic, I just feel really bad that it was a waste and they really missed a big opportunity there
So basically, you want RDR1 Mexico
Tbh i want rdr3 like a what if what if arthur never got tb that would be pretty good
Seeing a little more of Mexico and the history of what was going on at the time could tie into Javier's story and how he came to join the gang and it would be cool to include Californios in there and maybe a reference to Zorro or Joaquin Murrieta and three finger Jack
Acaso no te has dado cuenta que Javier Escuella hace referencia a Joaquín Murrieta?
I’d be amazing if you can find a tombstone that says mica bell. But the tombstone would say he dies from tuberculosis
Rdr2 is the best game ever made
Rdr3 would most likely be the very last game I buy
But I would love to be able to buy property and build a house like we did in the later part of rdr2.
Red dead redemption 2 was a true masterpiece.
There’s a newspaper article you can read while playing as Jack that Landon Ricketts passed away so that’s not a possibility
I want to see what rockstar can do with storytelling with characters we hardly know again.
the uncle of the sister of my neighbor's step mother's dog knows a cat which strol near the biggest rdr2 player's house...but i don't know him
source: trust me bro
what shaders does zanar aesthetics use the game look so much better than mine even tho im all maxed settings
@@TGill22going backwards is the thing that won't work it wouldn't even be a redemption game
9:53 what is the music in the background I forgot what mission it was from and I always liked it.
It would be cool if rdr3 is a Bonnie and Clyde era game with Jack marathon, model T’s, tommy guns
I want Jack in the Mafia running moonshine, late 1920’s
It was sad when lenny and sean died so it would be cool to play as them, but it would also be cool to play as jack again in the future with better weapons
Playing in the future as jack defeats the whole point and mojo of the red dead series. The rest of Jack's story should be left up to interpretation.
this is the mafia
If RD3 comes out 10 years after GTA6, then if won’t be out on the current gen consoles. It would be the PS6 and Xbox equivalent. The PS5 and Xbox series X will also be obsolete.
show the actual leaks. . .
ah i forgot there's none, ya re just using "leaks" as a click bait
I would love to see RDR 3 take place in 1776 where our main character has to fight the British and maybe featured London as one of the locations.
Nahhh does we’re not the gunslinging and outlaw and cowboy era.
Waay to early buddy try ww1 and on
No. Gunslinger era, 1800-1913. Primarily in the U.S and Mexico.
That is literally the worst idea for an rdr game I’ve ever heard
@@disingenuous1834 not really the only way to countinue jacks story is to finish the red dead story with countiueing jacks story bc it can still be done they had us fight off the fussars military on guarma we can have jack fight in ww1 for the. US Military and then jack comes back only to realize the the Pinkertons formally now the FBI was after jack Marston for the murder of ross in 1907 now jack must fight his way through the western United States and get him and his family to Canada where the FBI cant get them where Jack and his family live out there days happily ever after most if the western United States still looked the same as it did in the 1800s just a few model T cars driving around but people still mainly used horses bc cars were still far and few in between
We should play as Dutch in RDR3 and see how the gang began... see a more humane version of Dutche's beliefs
RDR3 will come out most likely for the PS6. The 6 is what 5 years away. I can’t see it coming out before 2028
the fundamental problem with rdr3 centered around jack marston is that it wouldn't be set in the wild west.
RDR1 ended the RD saga perfectly (and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that noone wants to play as Jack going forward; it would feel too detached/modern) although I would love R* to release 1+ Undead Nightmare remastered on PC
RDR2 is seamless absolute perfection; nuff said.
If RDR3 does happen, it won't come out before 2035.
Nice inter
Sadie would be a great main character, and her death could close out the story in a meaningful way
Arguably worst character in RDR2 lol, whoever is gonna be protagonist of RDR3, I hope it's not Sadie
unpopular opinion but sadie is such a generic and weirdly written character.
Either that or a completely new character
agreed it would be great to be sadie moving in the future where she is a bounty hunter in south america
Nope. Makes no sense. Needs to be a man. This is a western, not a soap opera.
@@jamskinner soap opera: large cast of characters with multiple intersecting storylines.
Sadie at the end of rdr2 is a loner and her story would be more focused
Man, that chart at the beginning, I cannot believe GTA5 is 10 years old. My childhood right there
Imagine the next RDR has bits taking place during WWI.
The timeline would make sense for this.
Story wise its the only way to coutinue the red dead timeline
@@The_Joker_420No it isn’t 😂 the best way in my opinion would be to dive deeper within the origins of the van der linde gang

Landon Ricketts is (in my opinion) the best option
-famous Gunslinger
-Story in his younger times
-Dead Eye (he told John that he was the fastest with the gun)
Yep it would make the most sense as he is also speculated to have participated in the Blackwater massacre which would allow us to know what happened there. The 'quiet' lifestyle that he wanted later on could be a part of his redemption too
honestly i think were done with following the story of redemption, i think the next red dead game will tell a totally different story unrelated to but in the same universe as the van der linde gang
Maybe if we are free is about Jack he'll see Sadie and Charles
I’d like to see them do the early years of Dutch’s gang and the Blackwater job
They need to stop restricting games to work on older consoles. It's time to move on.
They should go from the beginning of the gang from when Dutch and Hosea found Arthur
I wish rdr2 had a director mode
if rdr3 does come out i think it’ll tell jacks story

I CAN'T WAIT FOREVER I NEED RDR3 RIGHT NOW
Rockstar should go to Medieval times & make a whole new IP
One of the reasons why online is not popular is because you can’t even see anyone on the map you don’t know where anyone is unless they get close to you it’s hard to have fun with other people if you don’t even k ow when everyone in the lobby is
No one mentioning that a news paper in RDR1 tells us Landon Ricketts died in his sleep a few days prior to epilouge?
there are a few missions in rdr2 with hosea where he says that he's been in "these parts" (referring to the rdr2 map) before with Bessie or whoever it was. I like to think that this could be a possible setting for rdr3. but there isn't much context given about it so I think it's quite unlikely
