I've been happy with my s95d since buying it (and adding your settings). The AI highlight brightening feature on the samsung oleds has been just amazing with movies and games. Gun flashes and Sun flares can be nearly blinding with the lights off. And even the gimmick Q-Symphony audio feature has been a nice addition with my Samsung soundbar. Astro Bot is crazy beautiful, and Plague Tale: Requiem looks nearly photorealistic. The neon lights in Borderlands 3 pop like actual neon should, and Mutant Mayhem is just insane, what with all the uv style lighting, and contrasting shadows. The matte screen lets me watch in daylight by turning distinct reflections into an indistinct white smear, that's basically unnoticeable during motion except in dark areas (like the backlit crew and jets in the opening scene in Top Gun Maverick). interior lighting, and glare from behind blinds disappears completely. TV of the Year.

I like the concept of the Glare Free Screen, but I hope they re-tune it for next year and can find a happier medium between gloss and matte. Not sure if that’s possible, but would be interesting to see if they can improve the coating not to lose contrast.
I have no issue with the matt finish. Has it´s advantage during a bright day and it doesn´t degrade the picture quality on my s95d much at all. It´s fine. I love my s95d!

As someone who is an S90D owner because of those original thoughts, I’m still extremely happy with it for all those reasons, but I think it’s awesome to know that if people don’t wanna make the choice between a glassy screen and a matte finish screen this year they don’t have to! Like you said it’s awesome that Samsung is giving people the tools to give the TV.the chance to do everything that people expect the TV to do and it’s just really too bad that other manufacturers won’t do the same thing! The custom color space settings are so good in SDR that it makes me really excited if you’re able to find the time to see if you could do the same for HDR content as well since you said, it does make a difference for gaming in the settings that will be releasing. It’s fun to have someone that is actually able to take the intention of HDR and potentially make it do what it was always supposed to do instead of being a stupid gimmick like it actually has always been! Thank you for being you dude! Also, as you would expect in order for the TV to even work to be able to set it up, I had to upgrade it at least once and it went into 1120 when I got it so it’s good to know that that it was actually a good update and the TV doesn’t Look worse than what it should and is in fact better in some ways. Please be sure to let us know if there’s ever a future reason that you find for us to let the TV upgrade again because I of course turned it off for fear of the picture getting ruined in the future.
