Title is misleading. The fact that Mariah uses the same formula for 300 years now is a known fact, she is unique and her little samples of herself are genius. Love her so much ❤️

The title is bit a too much. This is basically a video about songs witch similar melodies or ad libs. Some of these are on purpose, some of these are samples (eg can't let go, make it last)

Don’t forget she wrote every single song herself. The only ones it sounds the same it’s someday and emotion. She acknowledge it sounds the same but she did almost everything. She’s a genius and her songs seems timeless. When I listen Madonna from the 80’s, 90’s it sounds so old.

This video was a bit of a reach. A few instances where songs had similar structure (The Trinity), but most of these examples were of similar inflections/runs/note structures in CERTAIN PLACES WITHIN THE SONG vs entire songs sounding the similar. With 13 albums under her belt, I am sure an ascending note run will be used more than once on a song. BTW: on NOW THAT I KNOW, the phrase is actually “sweet sweet ECSTASY”, not FANTASY.
Using the same word in two songs doesn’t count. True lambs know that Mariah will make lyrical references to other songs in her catalogue as an “easter egg” type of thing (the closing of SUBTLE INVITATION is a perfect example). And for CANT LET GO/TGIF Remix, they both use the same Keith Sweat sample, just in different keys and tempos.

not really THE SAME but in the same theme as Mariah once said that all of her songs are penned and created in an interwoven manner to create a story-like narrative.
e.g. Underneath the stars - Fourth of July - Circles these songs are interwoven into each other in great compliments but they don't necessarily need to literally sound alike for each other's benefit because it'll be ridiculous dahhling.
This is what happens when you have too many hit songs!

Well yeah the title is overreaching! This is basically about similar melodies and ad-libs. Also, despite the title, I included similar melodies not the same melodies, cause then the video would be too short. And of course there some intentional references (eg the roof - lullaby), some samples (eg can't let go - make it last, can't let go - can't say no), some strategically structured (eg dreamlover - heartbreaker - loverboy) and others are unintetional (eg music box - slipping away)
So what at leat she does her own music and doesn't steal it from anothwr setist. Stop the hate. I can't believe that Matiah only have 5 Grammys and other artists have up to 21 Grammys and 2 or 3 #1 . But Jealousy can do that amd more.
