I honestly watch everything you’ve done bro. I try to learn whatever I can, I don’t get bored of anything you do man! Keep it up! 🔥🔥🔥
Man I've been following your trans builds along with one other dude and it has really helped me with tearing apart and rebuilding mine. Anyone can do a job like this if they just take it apart and give it a shot with extremely valuable content such as yours to help guide along the way. Really appreciate it Austin, thanks!
Awesome man! 👍👍
Morning Austin! Love your Toyota builds!
this became my favorite DIY toyota trucks channel!!! man, you can do anything!!! when I was little my uncles used to do mechanic jobs, and they used to rebuild transmissions, starters, alternator, motors, transmissions etc, etc, now I regret never learned it from them!!
Thanks! Yea it’s useful knowing how to rebuild these parts!!
Nice! I have that Transmission and its been sitting bellhousing down for over 10yrs! Gonna be fun opening that one up. But when I do I will deffinatly be rewatching all of these! Thanks Austin!
Honestly not sick of it. You're the only guy out there in the youtube world with these quality videos. I have a r150f 4wd and can't tell you how much your videos came in clutch with overhauling my transmission on my 97 4runner. Keep it up! Respect! I appreciate you and your content so much. A tranferscase rebuild would be great! Cant find much information out there. I have a J shifter type no 4wd button, and cant find much information out there. I believe its a VF1A driver side drop transfercase.
Used to be a step by step on marlin crawler years ago.
Not boring at all Austin fascinating watching the rebuild
Austin, congratulations on your job and talent.
Used your video as a guide for my 4runner's Satoshi grill yesterday and it came out great. If you ever manual swap your 4runner and make a video maybe I'll finally do mine lol. Your videos are a huge help, keep doing what you're doing man!
Sweet!! The runner is staying automatic!
Mine pops out of first, even if you try to hold it in.
It would just pop out without a grinding. Now it grinds if you try to hold it in . All the other gears work fine .
Man your friend is a lucky guy.
I’m always down to watch another video of the master at work
Transmission is my next move on my 98 Toy limited edition. And every Transmission you pulled apart and put together has been a confidence grown experience. Thank you!
Was pretty cool to see how well preserved the insides were considering the conditions.
Good therapy for a Tuesday, awesome video!
If you post it I will watch it. Great learning experience.
I just love all of your builds
Never boring!
I watch every video you make it look easy great job
Keep it coming AN!! You da man !
AWESOME DUDE! VERY TALENTED BRO!!! 👍💪🙏
You make it look easy.
Amazing work brother 👏
Dude this is incredible of you, this is such invaluable knowledge. Thank you! And keep it up!
I would love to watch a video of u modifying ur bike .love the vids btw
I just started to follow you a couple days ago and i really enjoy your videos man🔥💯
good job, i would have put the cases through the sand blast cabinet tho to clean them up
Thanks for doing that man
Salut Austin
Tes vidéos sont super intéressantes à regarder, j'ai hâte d'en voir d'autres.
Merci beaucoup et continue comme ça.
Je te souhaite une bonne journée.
Always dig background music.
Love it man, super cool previous rebuilds or no.
Awesome video! Thank you!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Nice work!
Badass rebuild 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I'm shocked at how little rust there was inside. I've seen transmissions and differentials that were sitting a long time and everything above the oil level was FUBAR from condensation.
Yeah I was surprised as well!!
Dang I need a shop…good job Austin trans
That was dope af nice job
It’s amazing how you are your other two brother on RUclips are so mechanically inclined. What kind of training did you guys receive or was it self taught? Keep Up The Good Work!👍🏿
Thanks! We’re all self taught!!
@@austinniemela Amazing! Last year was the first time because of the lockdown, that I decided the tackle the repair on my 2004 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD LTD by changing, the front bearings and struts. In a short while, I plan to change the rear bearings. Thanks for all your videos. They have be instrumental in helping me to build the confidence to work on my car.
We can't but YOU certainly can you have the power ! Mr. TOYOTA can fix it.
Its always entertaining to watch , because you always go such a nice job
Nice work
Take those side shields off the bearings so fresh lubricant can circulate through them. It's a sealed case. It blows my mind that Toyota did that. It's the main reason the large support bearing fails.
Video 2 of politely asking Austin to wear safety shades when using the press so we can keep getting killer videos!
loving the content! where do you get all your pdfs with the measurements of the components of the engine - like clearances etc and gasket specs - im looking for one for asz 1.9 TDI
Get a Bentley manual!
You should restore a numbers matching Toyota pickup (3rd, 4th, and 5th Gen) and see what you can sell it for.
I love your vids bud, but damn you need to go air over hydro on that press. Save your self some time and sanity. 🍻
Can you please share what specific size pipes (and sockets) you used to drive the bearings & where you sourced them? Also, what is that rod you used to drive the bearing in? It looks kinda like a railroad spike. Where could I get something like that? I'm considering doing this job, but I wanna make 100% sure I've got all the stuff I need beforehand.
Does Austin have a photographic memory when putting everything back?
This is so mesmerising lol can i send you my r150f with 120k miles that has been sitting since 2001 lol ???
any chance you could provide a link to any technical documentation for the rebuild process. I would like to rebuild this transmission as well and any guidance/additional help I could locate would be helpful, thank you
Do a w-56 next
Alright my favorite show
Good video bro 🤙🏽
Cool.....
How long did it take you to rebuild the transmission? How long did it take you to edit this video?
how much would you charge to rebuild a rear end and 4.0 engine
Love your tranny rebuild videos. Keep 'em coming!
And I was proud of myself for taking my fishing reels apart…
Good video bro ❤️
Hey dude where are you located. I need your help with my trans. I’m in Idaho
معلم
Why not mustang engin that would worth the watch
Đẹp nha
Wow, he must have done a few gearboxes in his time to be able to do that and he says he has only rebuilt four.
Wanna rebuild my r150 lol, def making weird noises behind my bhw
In neutral?
@@austinniemela yup and 4 gear 2000-2200rpm
Hey Austin, is it worth it to convert my Tacoma Prerunner to 4wd?
Of course!
They never go about just clean them and put them back together
is there anything you cant do?
Any time somebody says “tranny”, I think of a time my friend got in trouble at work for saying “tranny” referring to a transmission. In trouble straight from HR
😂😂 them Karen’s I tell ya
Dude build with your eye close hahha
Two words man. Ultrasonic Cleaner. You'll wonder why you never bought one.
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
Abandoned…..😏😏
I don’t think brain surgery is that intricate ! And that’s a manual trans ! Geeze !
Доброго здоров'я привіт з Одеси Україна.

I really want to buy something you have built or bring enough money and a good frame and a donor with motor and trans and build it with your assistance. Really so I can learn and learn what would be my truck inside and out obviously with a nice paycheck for you and your time !#seriously
You act like you’ve done this before lol
Just a couple few times 🤘
I got to say I do like your videos better than your brother no disrespect
