Great information on your channel.. I'm not a practical that much but What's less inventory means explain please?? I think today supply chain is different from yesterday's same as tomorrow's, means its unpredictable.. how would 3PL save its cost practically please??
Less inventory means less stock. So less investment tied up. Many factors might help a 3PL save costs. Depends on country, types of clients, types of products, levels of technology. Labour is the highest cost in many countries, so often automation can help. Land and building can be high in other countries, so building high on a smaller footprint can help...... Location is important too. Cheaper out of town locations, but these need to be traded off with transport costs and labour availability. Not an easy answer.
@@supplychainsecrets Yes please! I liked "SLOBX." That got me a little closer to actionable steps. Helped me frame the problem a bit. Suggestions/framework to reduce in the handling category would be great!
less inventory + less handling + less transport this clearly decreases logistics cost why don't you give us any practical advise? Showing the better layout for warehouse would be much better than this video. I would love to talk to you in person
If you look through the channel, there are lots of videos about warehousing. Sometimes my videos are detailed about a specific topic, sometimes more of a quick reminder like this one.

Oh, i think choosing the right kind of transportation also help saving up much if we hardly minimize the volume of transport.
Sure. Many people pick the wrong freight service and can pay too much........
Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
Glad you found it useful.

@@supplychainsecrets Thanks for answering. Few more questions I'll ask.
OK. How many times do you think your products are 'touched' in your warehouse? From unloading and receipt....to despatch and loading.🙄
About 4 times. I do dropship. From the supplier shelf to packaging to delivery service to customers.
I think we are at about the 5 times for many products.
5 is not to bad.
You didn't give enough examples on how to ensure less handling. Pls I'd love to hear that.
I'll do another video in more detail soon ...
@@supplychainsecrets thanks you
