You're right, bloody hope not anyway! Worth a look here and there though, at very least it's worked well for finding small vacuum leaks this time 👍. Hope the DIY tuning is going well mate.
@@BrowneysGarage thanks mate appreciate it !! would have loved to see you get in an have a dig at it!! loved the series mate!! cant wait to see it tuned !!
good to see you at it again mate. i have factory BA turbo engine with the same intercooler, 1000cc, pump, value springs. tuned. 4 inch dump. im interesting in what your car gets safely tuned at. id assume 280-310kw ?
@@BrowneysGarage are you using stock turbo injectors? I told my tuner I was not chasing numbers I wanted something safe that I could put the boot in any time and not have to worry. Boost comes on later as my head pressure was getting high and he did not want it lifting the head or bending BA rods. My sheets not in the glove box but it's 290 wheels. And the cooler and cross over temps are fine and I live up in NQ where it's always hot. The 4 inch dump makes a huge difference getting the exhaust out of the head and it sounds awesome. If you are using stock turbo injectors and stock dump. I did have it tuned when I first got it on stock parts. It never hit the dyno so I can't give you a figure but I think I was running 6-8 psi. It hit 17psi when my actuator died I was lucky it not to turf the engine the pinging was real...
@@brockmacckie9905 my tuner has a BA ute with a charger burnout car.... also seen an FG G6E with charger they are just torque for days. I personally like turbo over charger but that's just personal preference.
For how often I'll have to do this (hopefully!) the smoke machine seems a bit of an unnecessary luxury at the moment - one day maybe though, they do look like good kit. Thanks mate.
Is it a coincidence that browny grew a fucking sick beard around the same time he got a turbo?
I don't think so
Love your work mate
🤣 Guess not! Thanks legend 👍
Nice one Browney 👍
Thanks mate 👍
It's all coming together nicely, looking forward to the smiles it will give you on the drag strip.
Or the tears as it's loaded onto a trailer... sure it will be fine! 🤣
Keen to see the progress man

At the crank? We'll be well out of injector before that if at the wheel, sounds more like the power you'd expect out of your own setup?

Looking forward to the day on seeing what figures the dyno will spit out.

Good job mate , however the smoke machines are just ripper at this and at $200 should be in every tool case .
