    Omg, I tried Evoto not long ago. I love, love, love it! Thanks for showing it before. It’s been the biggest game changer for me for so many things: stray hairs, glasses glare, skin retouching, double chins, wrinkled clothing… I know I’m missing things but it’s just awesome to use.

    Tried Evoto a few months back, because of you. Used it for an 30 person graduating class - headshots! Absolutely love it! It helped and continues to help me retouch quickly for huge batches of portraits! Thank you for sharing and recommending Evoto to us!

    Apologies for the tech question but you were shooting TTL plus 1 or so? I didn't notice you adjusting it any.
    Your confidence using the touch screen to shoot inspires me. I can't seem to wedge my eye from the body of my R6s yet. 😆

    THANKS! I have it and am getting nervous about how well it works and the actually useful features that seem to come out at least once a month.

    Great job, Vanessa. Love the pics! And the fact that you had to come back to NJ…wow! Welcome back! Where was this venue? Around New Brunswick? That place has become very popular. Emily’s a doll. And I love the way she poses for you. And great job with the wrinkle removal!

      Isn't she?!?! She's so great inside and out, I loved being able to tell her not to worry about wrinkle!
      haha I never really left NJ, I'm there at least once or twice a month :-)

    LOVE Evoto! I only have to pay for what I use. Plus it makes editing super easy!

    That is a cool application, but their idea of "credits" is not a good one. Putting a barrier on top of a paid structure leaves you with a feeling of being limited.

      confused about that one, why wouldn't you want to use it completely free and then just pay for what you actually need to deliver?

    Idk if it’s just me but I don’t like the look of 35mm, I just want to go wider like 24mm. Love that people are asking for direct flash portraits now though, I’m all for this trend.

    great work and tips Vanessa, thank you! But ,my god, this obsession some people have with following trends and convincing themselves that it's something they want...and now it's time for these fashion/paparazzi photos. Okay, carry on like this! I have a strong belief that they will look back at the photos after a few years wondering how they chose such a style. Maybe just for fun? Totally understandable, but a bit superficial for an engagement session IMHO. But as long as they come in money in your pocket, who are we to judge? :)

    • @VanessaJoy
      @VanessaJoy  Месяц назад +2

      I'm a fan of it! It's based on nostalgia of their childhood photography experience and I think that's pretty cool. I don't photograph whole wedding days like this, but a fun pop of flash and nostalgia I'm all for :-)

    Hi thanks for the video. Quick question: Are you using the R6ii now till the R5ii beceomes available? Appologies if you have already answered this question.

    • @VanessaJoy
      @VanessaJoy  Месяц назад +1

      Yup! Love the R6 II until I can permanently get my hands on the R5 II!

      @@VanessaJoy You prefer the R6 II over the R5 Mark 1? If so, why? I'm looking for a second camera to go with my R5 I and don't think the R5 Mark II is worth the upgrade at the moment.

      @@VanessaJoy are you finding more and more clients want direct flash look? You noticed direct flash look is more prevalent in the wedding and portraits industry?
