Hey man, could you do a video on how to replace the crank position sensor on this car. All the videos out there aren't very good and have yet to find one for this particular model
I asked VW Copenhagen and in Germany they sagde 5.1 Litter motor oil with new oil filter for VW passat 2.0 L TDI diesel, I asked other Company to change oil they sagde it need 5.5 Litter with new oil filter. You need to plug in a obd2 tool to use the service interval warning, these are expensive though so I would find a friend or relative to do it. Assuming you're not talking about the low oil pressure light
Yes the oil capacity in the video is correct. The 2015 Passat TDI oil capacity is 5.5 liters or 5.8 quarts. The 2012-2014 Passat TDI models use 4.5 liters or 4.8 quarts. The 2015 Passat came with a different version of the TDI from the previous 2012-2014 models here in the US.
Sup peeps? I have a 2015 standard trans of this car. I drained my oil and put 5.8 quarts in w/ a new filter but the check engine light came on. Oil level shows way higher than in this video, but it always does even when a shop does the work. One time the low oil light turned on when the level checked was in the middle of the stick, so as far as I'm concerned, that means LOW. But maybe I'm wrong and I've been overfilling and so have the shops. HELP! Don't wanna blow my seals from too high of pressure.

Shouldn't you put clean oil in filtre housing with clean filtre before installing, after of course installing drain plug? To prevent dry starts.

Depends on engine code. Mine is a CRL engine so it's 4.7
CRLB, DBGA, DCYA, DFEA, DFGA
Capacity: 4,7 liter (Service fill CRLB, DCYA, DFEA, DFGA), Capacity: 5,5 liter (Service fill DBGA)
