What a beautiful car! I drove the M850i when it came out and I gotta say it's pretty fast! 2 things I didn't like tho! First is the lane keep assist, I almost crashed because it was way too strong and caught me off guard. The second thing is the lack of backseat space. It's absurd! You can last max 30min drives back there if you are an adult! But I guess the looks require some sacrifices! Nice review btw!
The good news is that the m8 is just as bad in both things you mentioned 😂

Just purchased a 2021, very enjoyable BUT can’t understand why it is not a V10.

Good question, I would pick the Bentley Continental GT, the new model is absolutely perfect in my opinion.

It is a satin effect clear PPF on top of the standard grey metallic paint from bmw.

I heard a review that talked about the rear wheel steering saying that the extra articulation of the wheel cant handle the power as well as a conventional rear wheel articulation especially the moment you decide to send all the power only to the rear wheels, remember that out of all the cars in its class, the M8/M5 have the most % of power sent to the back and with the option to switch off the power to the front wheels would have consequences considering its a 2 tone car
yes I have read the same reason, but I still expect to see more from a car for 200k euros... Still amazing tho...

I would rather have the Nissan GTR which beat this car in a race.
No idea why anyone would pay this much for this car when you can get an AMG with an actual luxury interior. I went to a dealership to look at the M5....the salesman opened the door, I saw the interior and passed on taking a test drive. When you are used to an AMG you can’t step down to a BMW.
The interiors of the modern AMGs are on a different level, no dount!

Ian the only one that thinks it's weird that this car 0 to 60 is slower than a GTR despise the fact it had 200hp more, more cylinders, the same all wheel drive and is 10 years younger?
I know this is not that important, but that car is a decade old and does the same in 2.5 seconds.
I don’t think there is any chance for a gtr to beat an m8 competition.
Even M5 is faster than GTR
