- The M8 Competition is at the top of BMW's lineup. On the outside you will find a sinister look, optional wheels, trunk lid spoiler and Laser headlights. On the inside you will be welcomed by a full leather interior and digital gauge display. Under the hood is a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 that produces 617HP & mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. I love my 2022 M8 Comp. Having worked my way up from an M2, the M8 is definitely a monster. Beautiful car for sure.
I'm in an M2 Competition right now and am looking at these as my next move. Glad to see others have done the same progression here!

Looks good but big and heavy, far cry from M2. Not sure what the appeal is vs lighter M5 comp...but these are all heavy freeway brawlers

This model doesn't have A LOT of options hey offer for this car. But M8 will always be my dream car. It may not have all the cuts and angles of other super cars running 10 second 1/4 miles but seeing it in person is much more impactful than on video. This car has a great presence in person. Absolutely gorgeous.

I can only assume that this particular M8 Competition wasn't optioned with a carbon fiber package. That would explain why certain surfaces aren't carbon fiber. As for the M8 Competition, I absolutely love it. It's a shame that the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe was discontinued since that was essentially the biggest competitor with the new 8 Series.
It should already come this way at this price!

I also love both S63 Coupe and M8. Sadly the high performance SUVs are crushing everything in the market. These coupes/supercars just got no chance.

Bought my 2022 m8 comp last year in May. Had to make some minor changes. Got akrapovic exhaust, intake and satan black wrap with black badges. Best car I have owned by far!!

I can imagine pulling up with this monster to a billionaire's house party surrounded by top of the line lambos and bugattis and still standing out. This car is a beast.
It definitely doesn't look like a 2022 car, it looks older. Other than that it seems like a perfect sofisticated beast. It'll be nice to know how it's going to hold up with time and mileage because it seems like a true nightmare to work on. Definitely a very interesting car. I wouldn't buy it but truly a dream car for BMW fans.

It’s a beautiful beast! I have a new 22 M8 Competition, it’s Marina Bay Blue and mine has the full Carbon Fiber package!! Mine came from Germany in May and I absolutely love my baby!!

Hey Joe, let me start of by thanking you for the amazing reviews and also much love to your wife Laurie and to Steven for his work as well. In regards to the M8 competition, I love the car. I love the murdered out look. If there was any personal Zonks it would only be one. I just don’t like there the seat controls are. There a lot of manufacturers that are putting them on the doors which I like. I don’t know it’s a little minuscule but that’s all I can think… besides the price of course. Thanks for all the hard work you.

You cant anything faster for this size, weight and price point, this is why I love it.

The M8 has an exterior carbon fiber option package which adds CF to the front bumper, rear spoiler, mirror caps, and rear diffuser. It’s $5400.

I call mine "The Beast"! 7 months (so far) of pure power to the pavement. Smoooooooth shifts like cutting warm butter. Exhaust tones of sophistication and brute force. Bruh, fish tails, donuts, and drifting with ease. I like to drive it slow, tho. So peeps can look at it longer cuz it's sexy/hot too.
