Oh man, this method is *chef's kiss*. I've watched a few different tutorials on binding off for a twisted rib, and for some reason they were so confusing!! This is perfect! Thank you for sharing :)
Thank you for doing this tutorial, I could not find another one using twisted rib, and I knew the mechanics were different from regular 1x1 sewn BO. So, new subscriber here, yay! 🤗
Was your twisted rib a half-twisted rib? Or were your purls twisted as well? I am wondering if i should adjust for being half-twisted rib (only twisting knit stitches)

You are a life saver! I have been driving myself nuts trying to find the best bind off for twisted rib, and this is the perfect answer. Thanks!!
Right?! Glad I could help :)
This is the perfect bind off!! Your explanation is clear and I can follow it perfectly. Thank you so much for this tutorial! You are a life saver!!
of course!! once I found it I knew I had to share it. maybe one day I'll film a better quality video, but this works for now!

yay! glad to hear it - that's why I created it!!
For me it was very unclear. I couldn't clearly see what you were doing.
yes, it's not the best quality video - hopefully one day I can redo this with better technology to show the bind-off!
Is this the Italian bind off?
it looks very nice but with quite a bit of flare. With time, doesn't that expand?
yes, the flare seems to be a problem. I wish it was addressed in the video.
mine doesn't flare at all once it's blocked and the rest of the piece grows!
oh no - did you end up having a flare when you used this?

This is technically for half twisted, but I'm not sure if you'd really be able to tell the difference if you used this on a full twisted either 🤔
Did you do any set up rounds?
nope!
Very clear instruction. Thanks 😊
Glad it was helpfuL!
