    Well summoned. Growing through pain this is what I've found myself. Better to grow through pain, to see clearly and come to terms with reality rather than numb out the pain.
    Meditation can be used as a method to still the mind from the hustle and bustle of mental and emotional activity.
    When fine tuned correctly we learn to notice the mental impulses that cause emotion.
    It's not enough to block mental activity and emotions, but important to become aware of what is causing them.
    Faulty programming and assumptions will cause emotions to trigger again and again until we see clearly the pattern.
    Stilling the mind is a crucial step to hindering faulty impulses, but rational understanding hinders them from forming.
    We help others not by sacrificing ourselves and suffering, but by inspiring through example.
    It's better to understand what we appreciate about ourselves and share that with others, vs fighting for others love and approval.
