You rock, man !! I have been exchanging millions of emails back and forth with Resmed support team . And you know what?? They tried a number of tests because I was not getting the report on My air app. At the end they said that my machine had possibly an internal problem with the parts and I should take it to be repaired. It would be a waste of money and time. Thanks a lot for your help. You're great !

Thank you for posting this video! It worked perfectly to download my data from my older Resmed Airsense 10 that stopped recording data to the MyAir app a few months ago.
At first my Mac would not let it download because of the security with a website that wasn't on the app store, but I was able to override that in security preferences for this particular OSCAR download and install. I wasn't sure if your video mentioned it, but there is a note that when you put the SD card into your computer to read it, you have to slide the tab over to the "LOCK" position so no data is erased or overwritten and then when put back in the CPAP, to slide it back to "UNLOCK" so data can be recorded again. This saved me a trip to the sleep center to get my card read for my compliance report!
Thank you for this video. I recently received my AirSense 10, and it has no data connection at all. Not an outdated 3G modem showing no bars - no modem at all. My respiratory therapist told me that there were a number of supply chain issues (chipsets unavailable, Phillips recall, etc.) that couldn't be resolved in a timely manner, so the manufacturer offered my health care system a choice to wait for machines with new modems or approve shipping the Flintstones CPAPs or wait, leaving newly diagnosed patients, like me, without therapy for another 6 months. We will have to mail SD cards back and forth!
Can the machine save data when the SD card is gone after you send it to your doctor? It is not showing up in my Sleep Report screen on the device. It still says 30/30 days and 2 days have passed since I took out SD card.
Get a SD card reader that you can connect to your technology of choice (laptop/computer needs regular USB unless you have a Mac book in which case idk....., iPhone/iPad needs a lightning cable SD card reader and android phones/tablets needs either a micro USB or a USB C cable SD card reader).

I have been driving 70 miles round trip and paying $20 for my compliance report for years!!! I just now printed it out at home for free thanks to this video. I feel like a dope!!!
You can also add that once a patient has a machine for 5 years, the insurance will give you a new machine. Then you can use the old one for travel, and the new one will have the data available as before. The Oscare data is very helpful, but some folks will just want the basics.
They do not “give you a new machine” its starting another 13 month rental then you own it

I think most the US variants that shut off service were using Sprint 3g. When T-Mobile bought Sprint, they were to shut down the 3g CDMA by the end of 2021. They delayed the shutdown till April 2022. Mine went off line on the 11th of April. No worries

I still have time for my compliance but I had no clue about all this and the guy who came to help me setup mentioned nothing of how to record for compliance which annoyed the shit out of me. I live in an area with barely any cell service (1 bar) and this helps big time. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this information... My resmed airsense 10 auto has quit reading out accurate info on my time of use and this has to have some bearing on the problem, if not the cause. My signal strength on the machine still shows one bar, but it could be non deliverable to the provider clinic. Anyway, I was ready to order another machine for this and some other problems.... Last update was on April 13th. Just need to bring in the SD card when I see my doctor. No big deal. They ask me to bring it in anyhow. Will try OSCAR when I have some free time. Thanks for your channel and content.

Thanks for the peace of mind. The MyAir app works fine at home but I'm on vacation and suddenly I get an error message and the wifi symbol is blocked just as you show. I figured the data was still being recorded on the SD card but I was glad to have your confirmation for that. When I get home I expect to suddenly find 2 weeks of data pop up in my app.
This is my machine now!! I have not been able to get a signal since Sunday! I have unplugged the router and restarted it and it's still not working
I stopped using MyAir shortly after starting on CPAP. Sleepyhead to begin with and now OSCAR. Only use MyAir for a print off if I have a medical appointment. Oscar is fantastic! ResMed really are falling behind with this stuff. If my machine stops communicating then they can read the card....not my problem! Loved the recent SleepApneaStories episode, very interesting particularly re fixed pressures. Great channel :)

Mine is still working, as is my partners. We both have the AS10, both have 4G LTE modems in them. This must be for older machines.

just got a Aircurve 10 ST. doesn't have a modem. Which I thought was strange. Med Tech and manual that came with the machine said it had a modem. SD card is in the machine.
wow, ok I am only 2 mins in the video and my stopped ResMed data stopped working with air website around April also!!! I use it for my personal info, I do have a SD card I take to my doctor, but its been 2 yrs since I have seen the doctor which left the practice, so need to start with a new doctor soon. MyAir last report was April 26, 2022, now I know. I didn't pay much attention to it until recently, I will for certain download Oscar and see report , thanks. How long does a CPAP machine last like the ResMed, I had it since April 2017. I get supplies every 9 months through ins.
Wow. I am in the process of getting a new machine as I am frustrated with the no cell problem to myAir. Saw this last night dl Oscar and wow, now I have to learn how to read the data. So now comes the question should I get a new machine?
I called my DME and I ask if this was due to 3G going away. My unit started to get this icon on Saturday. They said Resmed was doing an "upgrade" and it would work when they are done. He did not know when that would be. He also noted that they could ship me a new modem if it does not come back. So we will see, not sure I believe them 100%.
Don't. I have had nothing but problems with this company. They do not care and you can't wait for them. Keep after them . That's the only way you get any answers.
Your DME won’t “ship a modem”. That’s nonsense. Any new modems developed by ResMed are going into Airsense 11’s.

I mean, isn’t missing indications in bloodwork data also malpractice? So what would be the difference between that lab data, and your usage data?
I was with Dedicated Sleep. They had all the settings on generic ones. Visited a REAL sleep doctor and he set up the machine much more tailored for me. It still won't transmit, but it works. Dedicated Sleep will be freaking out, but that's their problem.

how many 'rays' does the cellular modem give off during 8 hours of sleep? is it always on? I sleep with machine about 1 foot from my head.
It’s non ionizing so it could be under your pillow and you’d be fine.
Are all RESMED 10's reliant on 3G? I read somewhere some of the newer RESMED 10 machines had 4G capability as well. Not sure how to tell what service my machine supports, though.
No. It doesn't impact all versions. Mine is 4G using AT&T and it has no issues. Check your machine Settings -> About -> Internal Modem

My machine is only 2 weeks old and I didn't get data for the last few days. I get 2 to 3 bars when the 0 icon isn't showing but it doesn't last long, must be a really weak receiver.

The upside to all of this is if you disconnect the modem all together Resmed or any other party cannot send a message to to your airsense 10 instructing it to shut down or display TIME TO UPGRADE YOUR EQUIPMENT messages. They wouldn't do that, would they?

Are there people saying this other than patients that get worried?
i just got an Airsense 11 and used it for the first time last night. Today I put in an SD card into the resmed airsense, and after a while took out the SD card and put it into my computer. In the DATALOG folder it only had a folder named 20230730, which is today - that folder is empty (makes sense since I haven't used it yet today). But the data from yesterday is not on the SD card which seems to indicate that, at least on my Airsense 11, when you stick it an SD card it doesn't dump any past data onto the card. If that is indeed true as it appears to be, then for, in my case for example, for Medicare compliance proof etc. and given that I apparently have too weak cell service here for the resmed unit to transit the data wirelessly, I have to make sure the SD card is there from the getgo - again, sticking it in doesn't seem to dump previous days data to it.
Question I use one of them china ozone generators to disafect unit. Looks like it works,, water tank and climit hose do look clearer after running. 30 minutes run time 1.5 hours rest time after to clear gas
Unless the medical professionals and Medical providers get on board and let patients know that there are very helpful channels out there and support groups like your own
The users don't even know that the information is available and will just use the smiling 😊 face for the im doing great feeling as apposed to using Oscar to dial in the setting and let's face it the people who do use Oscar like myself are in the thousands not hundred of thousands..3 g is still Available in Canada till 2025 And I'm sure the new machine will have the new modem or a replacement one could be installed ...Keep up the great work ..I'm sure the providers have a workaround for this ..

How do you “put that card in OSCAR”?
My machine doesn’t even have an option to use wireless. It literally doesn’t even exist in the settings. The four bars that should be in the top right of the screen aren’t there. I think they forgot to put a modem in mine or something.

So the circle with line thru it, only means it’s not communicating electronically but it’s still recording on the sd card? I have to show compliance to order supplies every time. I wish I could just find on Amazon. It’s so much trouble to take the card in to an office etc.

i came here to try to learn how to REMOVE the stupid modem/cellular chip. i am actually floored that anybody would submit to this knowing what we know about data exfiltration and horrible security / privacy practices. i do not want this thing in my cpap whatsoever and just want the machine to work as functioned.

A year later and not happening. Eventually, we'll all have to get a S11 which connects via your home internet network to their Cloud. It's known to be a bit flaky. So, they won't likely be doing anymore cellular.

Sorry, that I am late to the party. My ResMed is communicating with Myair. Can I put the CPAP in airplane mode when I sleep and cut it back on after I wake up, so that it can be uploaded from the SD card to Myair. I am not sure if my provider gets the information from myair or some other way. I am concerned with the machine emitting harmful EMF that is right by my head. I read several threads but wanted an expert, like yourself to address it. Do they emit harmful EMF and if so, what can I do about it. I am sensitive to EMF and trying to address as many things in my home as possible to include putting my phone on airplane mode and disabling the WIFI and Blutooth on the phone at night. I also put a Farady fabric around my router/modem at night, when I sleep.

Is there a method to connect my ResMed wirelessly to my MacBook? New Central Apnea patient one month into a ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV. Trying to determine mask and treatment setting that yields adequate therapy. Daily I move the SD card from the ResMed to my MacBook Pro to extract data and evaluate. Not excited about moving the SD card daily. I have seen info on the Toshiba WiFi SD card that allows data transfer without moving the SD card. Unfortunately that product is discontinued. SleepHQ has a wireless system that connects using WiFi from the CPAP to a Computer but appears to only work with SleepHQ cloud. Any suggestions? Thanks, Steve.

Information Overlord had my other one for close to 30 years never had much trouble who won the new one the 10 is so damn confusing although I use it I sometimes wonder if we need all those bells and whistles that are on it and it be quite honest when my doctor asked me about it I didn't see any difference I don't see any difference when I have it on and when I don't have it on I sometimes wonder if it's just not a big hoax

Where can I find "Oscar".? MyAir won't let me have access. I got on it once and the next time it said I have the wrong password and ID. I don't have the patience for these things. Why must every site have a password and an ID? It makes the whole deal so difficult.
Ha ha mine says T-Moble and I have a T-Moble cell tower thing in my house because I use T-Mobile cell service. Also that was a great video maybe 🤔

Disappointed they don’t disclose this information when trained on CPAP you are on your own. I wouldn’t care if it didn’t have to be in compliance. I called the medical equipment store mine stopped recording & will have to drive 30 min to have it reset….🥺

So do you think as the modems and 3g quit working do you think doctors are going to tell people they need new equipment. My ins covers zero of my cpap supplies or machines. I had to buy mine plus pay for a specialist to even get my study.

Mac OSX isn't happy with Oscar, no developer information in the file - won't let it run, only option is "Move to Trash". I wanted to compare with SleepyHead app that my doctor had recommended, but the pages shown in your video look a lot like the screens I see in SleepyHead.
Still interested in Oscar, but as I said the OS won't let it run.
just found this site , i have a problem with my Resmed machine (bilevel) it finds new SD card, but when i install it onto Oscar there is no info on card , Oscar is running on Linux , when i open the files it has my name and some connection folder, but there is no info in these folders , is there a setting in machine i have missed

Im new to cpap. I have a resmed10 machine. Is it normal for there to be a silicone or clear rubbery spot inside the outlet port. Not sure if needs to be removed, something dripped in from factory.
Hey all, i'm new to PAP and trying to navigate all this info. Question for you. I have Airsense 10 autoset. my question is , can i use the SD card and the cellular simultaneously? Cellular is working fine, but I am a pilot and travel internationally, and I am worried that sometimes it may not upload the data, or I wont have time to let it as it uploads 1 hour after a session. Also, I want to be able to upload my data in Oscar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My machine does not have airplane mode
i bought a machine 2nd hand and setup a myair account yesterday. it sent up data yesterday from when i was playing around with it. then i watched some of your videos and looked into clearing out data and setting it up for me to use for myself and i used it last night but it's not sending data to the app. is it doing that because its not tied to a doctor? perhaps just a fluke thing and data will show up tomorrow?
Question: Can you use a laptop or you have to use a pc.
