I have the 1999 RX 330...for 23 years not one single problem. I've already reserved my 2023. Because of the reliability, I was able to pay off my mortgage early! The future is bright!!
I've heard it said time and again, you don't truly notice the value of your Lexus until you've had it 10+ years. My mom has a 22 year old ES300..still running strong! Enjoy your 2023!
@@KM-lz2ch I keep hearing about this.. I'm giving the R350h a shot this time, after having leased X3, 5 series, GLB, and a X5. I might keep this one for a little longer, but I have not really kept a car longer than 4 years..
To me NX450h+ is big enough and slightly better economy, so after reading the dealer spec sheet and price, I am more than happy with my decision to get NX450h+ early this year. Well done Brian, very comprehensive review.
I love that new copper crest color. It is very unique and different from any other color on the road. It looks incredible on this new RX I am buying it soon
A Beauty ! Hidden rear wiper , ingenious. The interior is a welcome upgrade from past models and will have to take a wait & see on the engine downgrade. The cabin is airtight and the 350 F Sport handles very well while still at a Lexus comfort level.
Great video, I have been a RX450h model owner for 15 years, came over from BMW by chance (long story), never looked back, love Lexus quality and the RX450h in general, had the last 3 models and what you have shown here, the 450h+, makes this now on my shopping list for sure! Thanks for the update.
Thank you for your review! I've never been crazy about the body design of Lexus. A year + into car shopping and I realize you can't have it all. I've decided on Lexus for it's well-known reliability. Wouldn't it be cool if the Drive Modes were in the steering wheel? You provided a lot of safety feature info that others didn't..all good to know (I know there's too much to provide in the time you have)! As far as the droning sound, you're driving in total silence because you're reviewing the vehicle. Wouldn't you hear the tires on the road in any SUV at some level? I image 99.9% of drivers are listening to music or a podcast so it wouldn't be noticeable? While I'd love the 2023, I'm going to wait for the 2024. Let's see how 2023 owners like them first! BTW..the Luxury Package allows you to raise and lower rear seats from Infotainment😉
I agree 1000% percent. Body wise BMW’s are my go to vehicle but they suck with reliability. I think I’m in the same boat as you. I’ll have to settle with not getting the look I want because I’m going with reliability.
the main problem people dont understand is all that horsepower out of a 4cyl the turbo is gonna wear that motor out n be less reliable then a non turbo engine im looking at the 500 cause not a fan of cvt transmissions only other problem i see is expensive repairs if the electric motors n electronics take a crap
Was going to pre order a White RX until I saw the Black Rubber piece that separates the hood from the nose . It struck me like a punch from Tyson. It sticks out like a sore thumb ! How could you design such a beautiful SUV and think your customers would support what appears to be an improperly fitted nose. I hope you rectify this fit b4 it goes into production. If this is taken care of , I'm with you.
I didn't find the GV70 very comfortable and the interior felt sterile to me. I also didn't like the panoramic infotainment standing on the dash (I don't care for that look in any vehicle). However, the safety features are great! Cars are so personal and everyone has different taste. See if you can test drive both.
There 350 or 350h AWD, 350 or 350h AWD Premium, 350 or 350h Premium plus, 350 or 350h Luxury, 450 plus coming soon, 350 F sport and 500h f sport performance.
I really hate ppl who didn’t but 450h instead of 350 in last gen coz the difference is only $2500 in price. Like u get twice the mileage n get more power. Like why wouldn’t u buy 450h. Now if u go to used car market, there’s hardly any 450h but tons of 350. Like come on ppl

That plastic upper grill looks like a blister. The plastic molded fake voids look like an unfinished manufacturing process. The entire upper grill reminds me of expanded metal picnic tables. What a disaster.
Too much black. I like light interiors. My current Lexus has beige leather seats - the whole seat is beige leather. This car had mostly black seats with a light colored strip of NuLuxe on front of seat, but sides & back of seats are black. Yuck
Compared to the Midsize Premium SUV segment, Lexus owners are more often women, are older, and enjoy a lower median annual household income. J.D. How much bigger is the RX from the NX? Seems that bc both are 5 seaters, NX might be better value. Thanks for the review.
If you know about the x3 and the x5, the rx is as big as the x5, but not as wide, while the nx is is x3 size
