    I just did a test drive on the 2022 RX 350 sport that had the six cylinder with only 3,000 miles on it. It was smooth as warm butter on hot bread. I don't see how a turbo on a small cylinder engine could replicate the ride comfort.

    🗣Im A Previous Generation Owner "Sept 2022 RX 450h Premium Sport v6 UK Spec" I Changed From A 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 3.0CRD To The Lexus Brand, And I Honestly Say, That I Haven't' Looked Back!! The Lexus RX Is Just Superb In Every Single Way!! From It's Driving Experience/On Road Manners-Comfort/Refinement/Fuel Economy I Honestly Can't Fault It!! A Truely SUPERB Machine!! And They Say The New Model Is A VAST Improvement Over My Model? Well, I'll Look Forward Till Changing Up To The Brand New Lexus RX In Around Two Years Time, As I Really Do Like The Brand New Front End Treatment Lexus Have Given It!! I Still Don't Understand Why They Dropped The v6 Hybrid Engine, As In Mine, As It's Creamy Smooth, And Gives Superb Fuel Economy!! Hopefully Lexus Might Have A Change Of Heart And Bring Back The 450h With The v6 engine, Giving Us A Choice Of Engines We Want To Own!! 😘🚘

    As much as I would want the 500h, it is the absolutely most complex version - turbo vs NA engine, and now, an automatic transmission. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad this is the way they went, it just adds complexity vs the 350h.

      @crypturilia4568 Год назад +3

      What’s the difference please?

    • @royd9406
      @royd9406 Год назад +2

      @@crypturilia4568 Lithium Ion batteries have a higher energy density than nickel-metal hydride batteries. Lithium Ion batteries are typically used on vehicles that are fully electric (not hybrids). I suspect the Lithium Ion batteries are more expensive than nickel-metal hydride batteries. The total electric only range of the RX 350h and 500h is most likely less than 50 miles. Vehicles Lithium Ion batteries can be driven hundreds of miles before a re-charge is necessary. Lithium Ion batteries are also more temperature sensitive than nickel-metal hydride batteries, so many vehicles with Lithium Ion batteries have liquid cooling/heating of the batteries to keep them in their operational temperature range. The nickel-metal hydride batteries in the RX are air cooled, with the air inside the cabin of the vehicle. The Lithium Ion batteries (IMO) are at a more advanced level of technology than nickel-metal hydride batteries.

    New RX comes with a Turbo 4 Cyl not the 6 cyl anymore. The auto start stop feature is a pain in the neck. If you turn it off you will need to press the button each time you start the car. It needs a software update to fix this as as climate control defaults to ecoco mode- less cooling also each time you start the car.
    The car heaitates off a stop in hot weather even when auto start stop is off.
    The doors have so much.weather stripping to reduce noise that you always need to close them twice because they don't close good.
    Beeps and tones from safety features are annoying and almost constant as well as issues connecting to your phone.
    Add to that Lexus will only give you one key at purchase due to a chip shortgae with a promise of giving you a second key later.
    Dealing with that now and it's bullshit.
    For a Premium Plus model costing over 50K there should be zero issues like this.
    Lexus is dropping the ball on this.
    Made in Japan used to mean the cars were flawless. Maybe not anymore.

    • @mervinprone
      @mervinprone Год назад +2

    I could care less about the head-up display as I find it annoying and distracting on any car. We turn it off. I purchased the RX350 (non-hybrid) as it is cheaper, quieter, and has a relaxing engine feel. I could not afford the RX500H so didn't test drive. I do wish all models came with the 360-camera system standard as I enjoy on our BMW, but the RX will warn you with lights and sound if getting too close to objects either in front, back, or sides. The standard RX sound system is very good and better than all I tested of competitors. If interested in this car, I would suggest driving both the RX350 and RX350h with the standard tires and making your own decision. If you afford the RX500H, then I would suggest also driving the BMW X5 for comparison. The Acura MDX should also be considered although it is longer and wider and has an outdated annoying interior. I test drove just about every small and midsize SUV and found choosing one a hard decision. There are many great vehicles but great in different ways.

I do not like this car, the rides, okay? But the radio, the directions see guide to show you how to do things or ask the car questions. Never wear properly. Add the mileage. I get 23 miles per gallon. I really dislike this car. I love my 450 hybrid. I had a 2020 I hate this car..
    If cuts off my directions as I'm going places, my radio is crazy. You can change stations on the radio unless you go through a different program. Then you're Android make snooze variant safe mode drivers. When you wanna change something, you have to hit the screen. If you hit the screen, you take your eyes off, the road and the big signal comes and says your eyes are off the road. I think they over complicated the use of the screen. The engine works great because Lexus found a ghost problem in the engine and fixed it. But my screen and everything about it is terrible. I would never buy this car again.
