Looking forward to your upcoming releases. I don't know if it is possible, but I think it would be cool to add some type of female screw thread to the bottom of the stands. This would allow people to mount them on a shelf or something if they wanted.

Hello Mr. Rex! Dust on some talc or baby powder in your rubber mold, then blow out the excess with air, this will reduce the surface tension and improves better surface detail, minimizing the pesky voids or air bubbles in the cast. The very best way is to dust talc in the molds then add 50 psi in a pressure tank if you’ve got one!

Great test of those primers. Here in spain i can buy the same but under another name. They come from the same factory and is the same. About~2,5 cheaper. Great news about that airbrush. Can order it and have it before x-mas over here as a present to myself. Thanks for this great news, and those colors looks awesome. Specialy that red over that silver/aluminium color.

I like these primers. And i agree about using them for main hobby painting. The purple and blue were the ones i liked the best. The purple would look good on a Plymouth Road Runner or Pontiac GTO from the 60s. And the blue on a Chevy Nova from the 60s also. Normally i am not a fan of yellow, but this ones not bad.
People often use Citadel's Retributor Gold as a gold primer.
Another great test video. I was really glad to hear you're going to have a fan cap available from your airbrush. I've been wanting to get one, so I'll be ordering one along with the airbrush and several of the stands as soon as they are available. Have you considered pre-orders?

I just ordered 2 3-packs and 2 white. Under 100 bucks for 8 large cans! My enamels and lacquers go over them just fine.👍
How thick/thin is it? How many coats of primer do you need to get a smooth finish without texture? I noticed with thinner primers like Mr. Surfacer 1500, if I don't spray enough coats, I get a bad texture on my base coat.
@@hhaste last can I sprayed 1 good coat straight from can. With my new Gaahleri airbrush I will be decanting and doing 1 light then 1 medium cover coat.

I have tried magnifying glasses before. They make my eyes hurt so much. Probably cause I still have 20/10 vision in both eyes.

I am a noob when it comes to airbrushing and rattle cans. I was wondering about spraying indoors. I purchased the Master Airbrush spray booth as well as a Gaahleri airgun (GHAD-39). My question is as follows. when spraying do i need to vent the booth outside or does the filter in the booth capture evrything, if not where should I terminate the vent hose?

I tried different colors of this primer.
all very good..
but I found a big flaw (which perhaps applies to all cans?? I don't know): when you reach the end of the can, the remaining paint is sprayed in lumps and is not able to be as smooth as at the beginning .
And I have to throw away the can.
This means that that remaining paint will go to waste.😫😫
Color primers sounds interesting, I wonder if you spray like a blue over a yellow primer does it mixes colors?

hey barbatos I got your airbrush because the black Friday deal was just too good to pass up but I cant afford a compressor and won't be able to for awhile im experimenting with hand painting turbo dork color shift do you have any suggestions on a gloss black primer ive been having trouble finding something someone suggested using tamiya spray t-14 do I have to protect the plastic before using tamiya spray

Just bought the dark gray , I'm in the middle of painting Warhammer orks and I like to prime then base coat in citadel mechanicus standard gray but using this primer will skip a step , I think I'll decant it though and use an airbrush , thinning it out a bit .......thoughts?????

If you are going to get those Airbrush stands made. then a suggestion for you. considering the hight, its a bit woppely, and you can knock them over easy I'd guess. Why not incorporate a magnet in the bottom?
how is your shallowtail differ from the current shallowtail studio g co artist that they currently have release?
I have question about something with all the airbrush that come with multiple needle sizes. Why do they not include a set of tubes for the needle that comes installed in the gun, instead of having to store them in the ones for the needle set you swap out? Just curious

What kind of O ring does the quick adapter have in your Swallowtail? I have the 98 and found that the quick release adapter has the "wrong" o ring, you know what I'm talking about Rex haha, which I promptly changed after playing with it.
Also, do you know if you can swap the .28 needle/nozz into the 98?

Ok guys I used to use house of kolors paints for my model cars but after a long hiatus due to situations beyond my control, I went to use them they are all dried even many that were still new. I have not been able to find them what are good replacements?
