Very good review, I appreciate how you analyze clubs from the perspective of the golfer that the club is designed to use. I also appreciate how you talk to us through the camera lens Dan, it’s as if I’m standing there on the range and you are discussing the clubs with me like a playing partner. Well done.

I am struggling with the T400 but couldn’t make the switch to the older T300. Your video discussing what the change in the new T300 mean to golfers like me that play in the 18 hcp range. So I just tried the new T 300 and realized, unlike all the other reviewers, that the new T300 is better built for me. So I just ordered a new set. Great review. Keep up the thorough and well thought out reviews.

Hi Dan thanks for the nice reply on my last comment, I just rewatched your video & loved your thoughts on the pitching wedge needing to fit into the gap wedges, it’s all very well hitting your 7iron further but my game relies on wedges into greens to score (I missed this on 1st watch) Thanks Dickey

Good review and discussion about 2019 v 2021 models. I’m probably in the market for new irons this year and T200 looks interesting. Will have to test them vs 790, 921, Apex and ZX5 and see what suits me best (gaming old x16s still). Interested to see what works best at the top end and possible blending options in each brand.

Finally a Titleist that I might not be embarrassed to at least try. Agreed that there's finally a differentiation between the T200s and T300s. Curious to try the T200s but at least now if they don't work out the T300s should be a good fit (at least for some lofts with a combo set).
I think this was the best video of the T series irons -- well done.

I game 712 AP2 from 7 to 9 and 712 AP1 from 4 to 6. Wasn’t thinking about upgrading as irons are forever (See Lester’s ancient Ping Eye 2 iron), but I can see how blending T200 and T300 in the same way makes perfect sense for someone like me.

Dan, love your videos. One big thing I’ve found in choosing the correct irons is peoples ego’s. Golfers that play scratch golf or are single digit handicappers are either terrible putters or are missing greens and that’s why they are not scoring better then they are. For people to think that because they have a lower handicap that they should or need to be hitting blade or blade type (t100-200) irons is missing the boat on improving their game. If golfers would do a better job of analyzing their game and what needs to be improved, like hitting more greens, more of them would choose clubs like the t300 and see improved results. An old friend in the Publix that I played with was a plus 2 handicap and used cavity back irons and when I asked him why he said to me that they were so easy to get near the pin that it felt like cheating. People need to lose the ego if they want to better their game.

Just came back and was able to compare the 7-irons of the old and new T200 and the new T300. The blade length of the 2 T200 irons is exactly the same. There wasn't much difference in flight and dispersion for me between those 2. The new T300 was definitely more forgiving when I hit it low on the face. Yes, it is a bit thicker, but the blade length is still pretty nice. They are not shovels. T300 also flew higher, higher launch angle with a lower loft than both of the two T200's. I have a 25hcp and my swing speed with the 7 iron was 73 mph. All clubs had the amt red in teg flex. (tried other shafts but they didn't work as well)

Age 63 and swing speed is not going up from here :) ... was fitted for the T300 last year but waited for this year's new model as the first gen T300 was too much like my AP1s. Was looking for more launch and forgiveness into my senior years. So glad I waited. The new T300 is 7 yards longer in carry than first gen T300 and much tighter in dispersion. They made some tweaks too the Tensei Red shaft as well ... so ordered them on the spot. 6-W2 blended into my H1 hybrids and Vokey high bounce 56 SW. Happy Titleist customer !

Any chance you could compare T300 and Wilson D9? I’m being fitted on 21/9 and was going down Cobra T-Rail route, but Wilson D9 when tested were just as consistent. They are about £200 cheaper than the Cobras too. T300 looks nice too. Any other models I should be considering? Planning to get 5 or 6 iron to PW, with hybrids and maybe a couple of wedges either side.. currently playing Ping i E1 irons but looking for more length and forgiveness, thus consistency..

I got mine from TGW about 4 weeks ago, good clubs, about 15 yards longer than my Rouge pros. However, the six iron was defective, something loose in the head. What a headache trying to get the six iron replaced. I have to send it back to titlest, will take 4 to 6 weeks to get it back. I thought TGW would just send me a replacement, ahhh no, had to go back to Titlest. At the least TGW could send me a dozen ProV1's for the hassle. Doubt that I will ever buy clubs at TGW, or anywhere online again.

Interesting discussion on who the new clubs are aimed at. I can see a combo with T200 & T100s but not sure on the T100s & T100. You would have the natural gap between clubs & also the added gap from the stronger lofts at the transition point, it might work with people struggling with low irons… but surely if that was the case they would not be attracted to this type of club.
Having played with a few more people using this power clubs, I can see the benefits it brings in enjoyment & distance. In general these are improvements on last models.
