Had my 2019 6.2 Litre AT4 a month. I added Nitto Trail Grapplers on Fuel 20" Vapor wheels. Kept stock 2" lift. It looks redic and off road its a menace. Great truck, I chose this over RAM Limited.
How do you like it?
Gotta see some pics. I got my at4 3 weeks ago.
GMC need the a GMC ZR2 type of off-roader. When are we getting a true hybrid truck? That truck would have loads of torque.
This Brit is doing his best American accent.
There was nothing done in this test that any 4x4 Sierra couldn't do.
Infact any 4x4 can do this. I done this and more in my 2000 subaru legacy with stock tires and beat up suspention that didn't get any repairs in 167k miles lol
Did you guys see the bumper shift up and down? 3:45
That bumper is bolted to the frame
@@OneManOnFire Yea that is what came to mind also.
Every truck does that
Watch a ram off road. Watch the front bumper.. drive behind a f150 and watch the box move separately from the cab just on a bump in the road...
It has to do that or it will be damaged and might break other parts.
That's the strangest looking mud I've ever seen 😂 looks more like some sand and dirt
Those Duratracs also aren't mud tires so he's wrong about that too.
Haha. I agree
Duratracs are M+S rated dipshits, says so right on the tire. 😉
It would be clever for an automaker to prove the maximum weakness example: Actually revealing the absolute limit where the vehicle stops climbing, Sliding sideways during driving, instead of building a terrain that "fits" the max limit.
They are underselling these. I peeked at the owners manual. I think they are still trying to sell to dad
Ya I know eh. These reviews are a fkn joke.
Rancho shocks, LOL! Should have used Bilsteins.
sixshooter4570 I never can honestly tell a difference
Pretty sure the Goodyear durratracs are AT not MT
Nope.
So GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado is same?
Thats what i go threw everyday coming out of my drive way on my civic not a very good off road test
Should’ve put on the DSSV package like on the ZR2
Is that a standard bed or short?
man I could go through all that in my honda make some real test for these trucks realistic ones would be nice.
Big puddle. I’m sold..
Nice truck but that mud pit looked more like soft dirt, not very soupy.
Nice truck but I don't like the Rancho shocks
Swap em for Bilsteins for $200 yourselfراعي الجمس GMC
Have the AT4 run Baja course even if it is off season and then I will believe.
How does it compare to the Trail Boss? Or is it pretty much the same thing?
Trail Boss only comes in a 5.3....good power but if you want to pull your toys behind to the dunes...get the 6.2 AT4!
Same except engine options
Why most (not all) of the brand new truck off road tests are not really off-road? That mud?
Im a GM guy but how about they build something where cones aren’t needed to guide you through the course.
Cool Toyota
I would love to see somebody take these trucks down through the Baja course. Out where the king of hammers does it's testing when its 115 out.
Even a raptor would struggle wtf is your point that course is for purposes built buggies and not even the small minority lives in koh terrain.
Got my Blue AT4 in blue 3 weeks ago! It did well at Redington pass outside Tucson!
Idk, you probably should have ordered it in blue...
@@markk3652 lol
@@chanman1806 Nope, upgraded the tires, went with the Ultra Terrain Goodyear, great ride!
@@chanman1806 Also upgraded to GM's CAI and exhaust, dyno showed huge results. Yeah, maybe Fox down the road when I'm ready to install the lift kit but for now it's enjoyable
@@chanman1806 Nice!
Ya.... why is that front bumper moving??
Every truck does that.... Bumpers are usually bolted to the frame.
Well done! Absolutely love this vehicles. Thanks.
Give Emme all the Muddy reviews, please That's her Jam!
You should off road in four high. Low will break traction easier..
he doesn't walk in mud he doesn't walk up a hill lmao, let Emme do the review instead she is awesome.
I know, right?!? It's almost like he's using hyperbole just for the sake of the video...
Y’all call that mud?
4L is for crawling and you can even use trailer mode. 95% or all of that could have been done in 4H with the speed he was driving.
This is what my rzr 5000 is for
Soon you'll be able to buy in Chinese yuan
I bought a at4. I do love it. The electronics are unnecessary.
I would take that over a TrailBoss because you can get the AT4 with the 6.2 V8/10 speed auto, and it looks better. Not as good off road as a Raptor, but it is 85% of the way there.
How did this guy get the chance to test drive it?! Let someone who knows a thing or two make a review instead of a cubical working, avoids walking through a grass field, calling sand mud kinda fella. lol
Tundra Pro all the way!!
I'm guessing that truck is in the low sixty range that means another truck has out priced most hard working men and women..
Can pick them up for around $53k....still not cheap by any means
I get what you're saying but dealerships now offer 10yr loans. The average Joe will unfortunately not look at the long term and buy one based on the monthly payment and be underwater on it from day one
You don't NEED the AT4 package. Trucks are still priced decent it's just people want every bell and whistle for $25k.
@@I5ZQ8 I understand the pricing for vehicles but they are starting to out price the average person. Especially when you factor in insurance housing and other cost ..
"I probably wouldn't talk up that." ...somehow that doesn't surprise me
all the plastic stuff on the lower bumper always get mucked
Headlights look a bit like f150 if you ask me..
The tires and wheels are also round, just like the F150's!!!
Wasichu Wacanta and the glass - looks just like they copied that from Ford too.
Ford innovates, gm imitates.
“ I wouldn’t walk on it” will he walk anywhere?
Those are not M/T tires
Rancho shocks are junk. Carry on
GMC did a good job of disguising the odd lines of the Chevrolet counterpart.
Now do this course in a Rebel with Air Suspension 😎💪🏼
that mud pit isnt even wet
Mud terrains? Offroad? One day as a planting truck is harder than this whole test
It's a truck bud Not a car.
His accent swaps between British and American.
Is this guy British?
Im getting a RAM next. Sorry gm
Give this to someone who actually knows what they’re doing…….pretty muddy looking sand there…..
That’s a course built by engineers that don’t want their truck to get stuck. Not impressed at all.
You have to wonder about an auto journalist unable to identify All Terrain tires - No Mud tires here
GM THE BEST TRUCKS EVER...........
I wonder where GM is going to pile up these $60k pickup trucks during the next recession....
Talk about inflation.
Right next to all the other trucks costing the same or more.
Ummmmm those aren’t mud terrain tires.....but okay.....
Внедорожник.... Я по такой дороге каждый день на жигулях езжу
Shut up and take my money!
those are not mud terrains
Lol
My 20 yr old clapped out Mercury Topaz could have went up that bullshit.
I'm tarded or something, I just can't see me personally paying a grand a month for 60 month's and doing a damn bit of jackshit that would put a scratch on something nice like this... Just can't see it.
Evad Enri then don’t? I’d buy it and probally never off road who would? I could buy a two door Jeep rubicon/wrangler with some good tires and do a lot more damage then this truck ever would off road
I own one and dont beat it offroad. Just love the look and feel of it. Bad ass truck
I get the fact everyone wants a diesel and low end torque, so stop telling everyone that diesel is going to be awesome off road, if the truck is balanced like a Colorado or canyon with a diesel, don't tell everyone it's going to be awesome!
Diesel torque is not the ticket off road, it adds weight to the front and unless you have a locker for the front, the locker for the rear is useless on a diesel, if your going off road the 5.3 will do fine, the power is there, without the weight, my 5.0 along with a 5.3 or the 5.7 hemi is ideal for everyday, and off road, decent power to turn a 35 the diesel is for towing and fuel mileage period!
Low hanging front bumper, Rancho shocks, 18" wheels, and an auto locker...
No thanks
🤪
We have the Raptor for all this. Stick with designing goofy tailgates.
David Hobbs tail gate is pretty functional we have them on work trucks here already. Ford isn’t much better with the flimsy tail gate step lol. And honestly my 1992 Toyota does better off-road then a raptor for a couple grand in parts and performance. Off reading isn’t flying down a desert road lmao. That wide heavy raptor won’t go most places a Jeep Wrangler would
Screw General mortgage over priced garbage.. not to mention stabbed the people who helped make that company in the back
Trail boss looks alot better
lento7421 sadly the Trailboss only offers the 5.3 and the AT4 you can get 5.3 or 6.2
Dont give GM a single penny, they backstabbed twice. If you know what I mean...
FastLikeUNO ford is literally about to do the same thing.
These trucks are made in the US. So by boycotting GM you are forcing it more to do what it did. You can just boycott some of their products which aren't made in the US.
Pay me to not buy their trucks then
Horrible Rims
Your a joke this is no test I can do this without engaging 4x4
Man. That's not even mud, go work on a rig. That incline was nothing. Those rocks were rough? I bet. Just come to Canada and I'll show you. Also Duratracs aren't mud tires. They, are all seasons😂
Also, that puddle was smal
meh
F150 raptor the name is enough
Ak Tabasi the problem with a Raptor is you automatically know everyone that drives one is a poseur.
Horrible looking truck, good off roading though. If that makes any sense.
Ohhhh herro that's a coorl chinese twuk🤓
You are a review channel, and still call a TRUCK a CAR!!!!
GM junk.
Look at consumer buyer report this is one of the most unreliable trucks u can get
Its not even a year in bro calm down lol
@@RideRedFred it's been out for longer than a year bo that why it on the unreliable list
Ugly as truck lol
Guessing the base price for this hog is 45k. You can get much more vehicle elsewhere for 45k. Oh, and it's a GM, I hope you enjoy recalls, and like the company of your mechanic.
Americans, are you ready to bail out GM once again!? Seriously asking.
If you're the type of person to blow your money on this heap I'd like to here from you soon. Please, come at me with facts, hard data, and evidence or you will be muted.
I've had 3 Fords go to shyt. They will never get another dime from me
It's funny that you say recalls because ford just had a recall for a problem with their engine blocks LOL
Almost 1million Fords recalled just a few days ago. Funny how that works
GM is the best. Period! That's why I'm on my 4th Tacoma...
