- Here are 3 NPCs you must trade with in pokemon scarlet and violet. In pokemon scarlet and violet there are 3 npcs that can trade with you. One NPC is in Cortondo and trades you Snom for Flabebe. Another NPC to trade with is in Levencia and she trades you a Pinchuchin for a Haunter that evolves into Gengar! In Cascarafa there is a NPC that trades you Paldean Wooper for Johto Wooper!

I was humbled by haunter girl. I was so irritated doing the trade, convinced that this was gonna be another funny haha, it's holding an everstone moment. And then it evolved. And I apologized aloud to an NPC for doubting her lol
So back when I first got my copy of Scarlet, I was Terra Raid hunting, and found a dragon Terra typed snom, that snom was on my team for the entire game, saving me so many times

Yeah for early Pokémon players, only way the get a gengar is to trade ur haunter, or trading in general until u get one
if you are new to pokemon, feel free to google every thing you want and need to know. its not just haunter but sycther and etc .
just google something like " how to evolve ___ " , or "fairy type weaknesses" or " shiny version of ____ ".
just random tips so you dont wondering and confused for too long until someone answer your question. or even worse people will make fun of you .

Actually used that Haunter/Gengar on my team. Worked out because I wanted a Pokémon for my team's fairy weakness.
For my fairy weakness, I just used a Pawmot with a steel Tera type and terablast;) carried a lot of weight on my team for sure

When you take a look at all the other names from NPC's Pokémon like "Kenya" for the Spearow in Gen-2, are you *truly* in any place to judge this late into the franchise? If anything it's pretty normal.

Well you don’t have to panic anymore knowing that hauntikins the haunter isn’t holding an everstone.
I saw about that trade in my 1st playthrough and platinum disappointment vibes engulfed me. I've only now started my second playthrough and now I know this trade isn't like that last child.
