Once Human is a lot of fun, with survival-crafting that is simple and accessible, but still rewarding to dig into. Building a house is amusing, even if pieces aren’t always cooperative about snapping together in the right orientation. And while the combat is generally pretty basic, the grotesque weirdness of the monsters more than makes up for that, especially when you get a menagerie of weird little creatures of your own to fight with. Once Human would benefit from more creative quests and a flatter difficulty curve, but I still had a great time, and I’m eager to continue my adventures in this twisted world as its first season progresses.

This game is The Division 2 but, much better, without the auto disconnected issue.
It has a little bit of Death Stranding vibe, It is also Fallout 76 mix Palworld.
It is all in one. The best Free to play in 2024.

As a game dev student, this game is not indie. Assuming by the scope of content and marketing materials the game had a budget of at least multiple million dollars, making it an AA game

@@superbadisfunmy But they are not Indie though, It was made by a team that works under Netease a Developer and Publisher megacorp one of the biggest videogame developing companies.
It’s definitely still in the early stages but for the amount of content and it’s free, definitely recommend atleast trying
If you're familiar with SCP, think of this as a FO76 survival-lite game with an SCP theme.
It's alot of fun, twisted but I'm not really sold on it due to the seasonal resets.

No, Palworld is darker and bloodier. This world was once human. Palworld was never humane.
This reminds me more of *STRANGER THINGS* than anything. With a twist of course. But it's to fantasy horror-esque to have anything to do with (normal) aliens.

Abit janky, latency and connectivity issues for me playing in South east Asian servers. Other than that it has been quite fun and addicting, gameplay is solid and its also free which is a huge win.
So janky at times that it feels like it might implode in on itself at any moment, but it's hard to stop playing once you start. It's just so enjoyable.

This is basically if The day before was actually a game. Combat is super Janky and the enemies are braindead but exploration has been enjoyable.

Dude saying that mobs from lvl 40 zones are super buffed while running around with armor at 0%durabillity. There's no way xD
IGN reviews were always like this. It allways seems like they play 3 hours of a game and then review it.
One thing not mentioned is how the interlocking systems don't gel well with each other. For instance servers are absolutely littered with player bases right next to each other which completely detracts from the immersion of the world or experience.

Server wipe at end of each season isn't ideal. You keep your blueprints and quest storylines but you lose all current possessions ?
im not just hyping up the game just becauze, but its been a while since i've had this much fun in a game. Not the greatets but super fun, it could get you hooked for hours.
Does the progress reset after some time?
@@sospirit27 we didnt get to that part yet, but as the devs say, some progress yes, not the importat progress, that stays.
@@sospirit27 The important stuff like your weapon/armor blueprints, furniture blueprints etc doesn't reset. You can also save your house blueprints and rebuild it at the touch of a button. rare/important resources you gain also don't reset. Devs have also stated they are open to community feedback on it so if people don't like it they will get rid of it.

the sound is totally broken for me in this game for some reason npcs stop talking and there are many scenes shown where you hear the characters talking but not in my game. Some say they didn't voice the entire game I've seen in the early game voiced characters on youtube which do not play audio in mine. Something is bugged out.
The drastic increase in difficulty is par for the course on free to play. Spend some money to increase your damage/health, of course! Haha.
When is coming to console? And does it has crossplay?
It doesn't even have controller support so probably not soon if ever.

They're adding controller support, as stated in the video. Also, a console release is planned for sometime next year according to their discord.
This game makes you feel like u dont want to play it anymore because of how frequently it forces u to update and the updates are huge its just disgusting

You can get anything running on a phone these days. Blade and soul, black desert, undawn. All massive games with deep systems that dwarfs AAA games. If only they implement it well. Hopefully this one gets it right.

It's wayyy too easy with the dumb enemy AI and negligible detection zones, gets boring without significant challenge after awhile

You had me until "after six weeks, there is a server restart" yea, you get to keep your crafting plans, but all the investment and gathering is not worth playing a game that wipes everything you worked hard on. So, for that; I'm skipping this game.

More like a division combat with less rpg elements, but with survival, crafting and build mechanics. It have some dungeons and some bosses.
At 6 week reset you lose everything.. your building gone, your weapons gone, resources gone, ect..
