@@RoaringImages the only issue I had was a fluctuating ping. I need to test if time of day affects it but I found rolling it back allowed a stable connection (for me). Could also been a connection thing since it’s from wifi. So many variables. lol.

after the update i had to switch and down load the newest update for proton GE-9 (something) but it doesnt play anywhere as smooth or stable gives a really dark shadow to it. detail isnt there

i will have to see! i know theres a way to put the overlay. i will have to run the overlay and make sure i mark what my settings are at the max 90hz since mostly ive been playing between 40-50Hz. Ill get back to you as soon as possible

@@ERodz230 there’s isn’t one yet. I can definitely upload if that’s possible. In the video the first part shows how I changed buttons in the layout tab. You can do it in steam. I can make another video showing how to change the buttons. I’m still trying to think of what other buttons are necessary. But this was basic for right now. I’ll add this to video lists and get that out asap
personally makes no sense. like how will you simplify it for a phone. and on top of that a phone is SOOOOOO much smaller with not many buttons. cant fill the screen up with a bunch of nonsense. lol
first of all the dual boot??? you goat'd my g. i havent dived into that yet. i am currently working out my button layout video. what i would recommend is that you "edit" the button layout. since it only registers keybinds on a mouse and keyboard. but go into the controller settings for the steam deck and edit. ive used the L4/5 and R4/5 buttons and i changed the dpad for quick menu selection.
@@Doubl0fasho no dual boot just str8 windows 11 since I got my Deck & iv tried mapping the button but for some reason it won’t register my steam controller in game at all

i have yet to try longevity. do you play plugged in or after you charge your battery? also do you have the oled or the lcd? i still get some lag but its not terrible. about the same i get from the pc. they do need to optimize the game in general

I’m running a windows 11 steam deck & I can’t get my game to register controllers even after selecting a community controller in steam any help 😅¿
