Either they hate those characters despite there being problematic white characters who had done worse, saying that she and the main character/ love interest are just friends/siblings (nothing wrong with that but why are you always applying this to black women), or saying they’re asexual/aromantic and as an asexual/ and probably aromantic black women, it annoy me that they tend to use sexualities that aren’t often represented not to explore them but just so they don’t has to or have the excuse not to ship them and not out of genuine interest. And yes, please I want you to a video on cybee because at times it may seem like they only ship 2 popular black characters together but I’m sure there’s more to their dynamic. I now feel liike the only person who loves and was so enamoured with the movie Rise of the Guardians, its actually a really wholesome and heartwarming movie with a really compelling character in the villian (Idr his name but he's basically a nightmare) and I love the growth of Jack and the relationship he has with the other holidays, esp the tooth fairy who loves him cause he has perfect teeth lol i also love the lore the movie gives him his backstory is actually quite heartbreaking. Also my three dream cosplays are Anna Blue, Babydoll from Suckerpunch (obsessed with her forever) and Akasha from Queen of the damned (obviiiiii).
Crack ships are by definition those ships that wouldn't be possible at all, any pair (or more) of characters that have never interacted or even been in the same room together. So by that definition all crack ships are non canon, since it is necessary for them to be impossible or at the very least make little to no sense, but not all non canon ships are crack, let's say for example the MCU movies, Tony Stark x Steve Rogers is not crack ship even if it is non canon because the characters know each other and even have a close and complicated relationship, but let's say Steve Rogers x Gamora would be a crack ship even if they are from the same universe (Marvel) because they never interacted. But in recent years some people do believe crack ships need to be somehow weird or funny in some way to make it crack, which I personally don't agree with.
