Nice to see you are having good luck with your Ryker. I just bought the 900 Rally and put 67 miles on it. My wife and I love riding it 2 up. So far no issues. Good luck and safe driving.
Your honest comments really help convince me to try one of these out. The rust is a little disappointing so I'll be curious to see if your touch-ups work. BTW, the train in the background sounds horror show creepy on the vid. lol
Thanks for the update video. When the Ryker first came out and I saw it on video I said to myself I got to get one but that is somewhat changing. I’m still not ruling it out. I wonder how it will hold up 3 years from now? I don’t like the warranty that Can Am has without having to buy the high priced extended warranty, someone on RUclips said he was offered it for $899 not a bad price , another RUclipsr said he paid $1500 for it that’s ridiculous. I don’t have a car now so the Ryker may be a good temporary solution but there’s really no room to carry groceries or other larger items. The F3S Spyder is more muscular and would last longer in my opinion. It also has the bigger and better brakes and shocks. I’ll just have to text ride the Ryker 900 and a F3S and than see if either bike gets my interest enough to purchase it. When I see the Ryker 900 in person my opinion may change instantly and make the purchase. Thanks again for the video. Edit: I just wanted to add that the Ryker 900 seems to be a machine to have fun on if you have another vehicle as your primary means of transportation. I haven’t seen any videos on the size comparison of the Ryker next to a car or pickup truck just to see the comparison. It looks small like a go cart.
Lenny7118 great reply thanks. I am wondering also about it holding up. I have a truck but prefer to sit the Ryker except in snow. I use to use my bicycle to commute all the time and run errands. Thanks again. Paul
It's as if the dealers want us to have to bring the whole trike in for just a flat-fix, by pricing that socket so high. I almost bought the one from the dealer, figuring even one wrecker bill would justify the price. And then, I balked, and checked around, and sure enough found it on Ebay for $34., plus $8. shipping...from England! 65mm, 12 point, 3/4" drive. Why get gouged by the dealer? @@Jeep-Addicts
Hi Paul, I'm a New Zealander I got my ryker 900 3 weeks ago just done almost close 500mils too, I have that same sound as you have but its not as bad as another sound that just started this weekend it sounds like cicadas(which is a type of bug) its a continuous ticking/buzzing coming from the front left or right but I've looked for loss panels wires labels nothing anyone have any ideas would be grateful.
Kimball Holden we have those bugs also that funny. I have a sound similar at low rpm and light gas. I’m finding this thing has lots of little sounds normal motorcycles don’t have.
You can get that socket for the front wheel nut much cheaper if you order from Canada. Also, 500 miles? I'll put that on a bike in less than a month. 500,000 miles isn't jack to me.
Great review. Took a look at one today. Only issue I had was the seat is to close. I was sitting on the seats lip. Do you have that issue? and do you think it would be possible to build a seat extension?
One viewer recommended WD40 around the handlebars like the bolt hole and down where it connects. I removed my muffler and painted it with extreme heat paint to stop or slow that down.
loving the lights, wondering what /where you got them, and how did you wire them in? Considering adding led lights under the front panelling somewhere on mine, so it gets an awesome glow all over the guts.

Glad you commented. I was wanting one and was wondering is you can ride a passenger
Believe Amazon has the socket for $20 65mm 12 point. Can always return if it doesn't work.
I took a test ride and you are right, it was a blast.
Great video! Thank you!

I found the 65mm socket for the hub-nuts on Ebay for $40 delivered. The dealer said the one they have to sell was over $170. with tax.
Dan S. Denton I’m going to have to look it up. Thanks for the tip.

Super cool man. My son and I are in Roanoke, we're coming to CVCC for an M3 class soon, will both have our Rykers in June or July.

Don Cowboy when I stretch my legs I’m half off the seat but yes I have to sit way back on the seat to be comfortable. Paul
On your first video you said about a clunk when you pull out I found if you hold the brake asb give a little throttle then let go of brake love mine
great video paul ... did u power coat the brake cals ?
DREAMVIZON8 I used a paint called G3. It seems to be holding up great. Paul
Rust is very easy to get in South FL - recommend method of rust prevention?

Can you only mount 1 saddle bag on the Ryker?
clarence gallaway yea sorry to say. Yes it does look funny.
Where did you buy all your attachments from
I picked up the bags and windshield from the dealer but that was a week after they came out. Now you can find them online. Paul
I forgot is this the 600 or the 900? Every video makes me want to buy one.
BeKnudsen it’s the 900. They are awesome and I’m not a sales person just letting others see and make a choice.
Getting a Rally
you need to watch T47 productions video about his Ryker problems. It has to do with the front wheels nearly falling off.
Larry Finamore I have that is crazy stuff. Paul
I would be pissed if I was having rust issues at only 500 miles.... deal breaker
Randy Carlisle trust me I’m not happy. Poor attention to details. Paul
will it ride a whellie
Robbie Smith not quite bit will pull the front wheels off the ground if you hook the back tire up. Paul
I hope the CVT stands the test of time.
Q- Bert that worries me also, probably just to when warranty is out.😡
@@Jeep-Addicts my 600 silver wing. Has cvt. 23k miles so far. Belt has to be changed alot. Every 11k Miles. And the sliders. But that's not too bad.

Let that train haul you away.
Odd I never see these on the road. I see Harley and Honda trikes but not the things.
Tony McGee they just came out in January 2019 probably over the summer.
They just came out in January so I bet this summer you will start to see more of them. Dealers are saying they can't get them fast enough. Paul
Do a review at 50,000 ... that will say something. 500 miles is not even broken in.
my 3000 mile review is coming up this weekend. It was more of did I make a mistake at this point on buying one. Paul
Rust already? That sucks.
Q- Bert I think it was just from the welding sticks they used but I was not taking chances.
No case on the left side. It looks awkward. Unbalanced. Crappy.
M Mahtnart yea I sold it and the back bag. Making a mount for double bags.
