This is a great comprehensive review. And a lot of the things you pointed out I 100% agree with. To me Can-Am missed the mark on so many ...little big things with this Ryker. If you put out a product, you want it to become popular. And with popularity comes knowledge of things like - hey no locks so let me go see what I can steal. The front should have a lock right off the bat. No option! The gas cap should be lockable right off the bat. No option! For safety there should also be a hand brake. You're going fast down the highway and you lose control ....trying to avoid a thing that fell off the back of a truck, whatever, you bounce and your right foot slips off the pedal and your foot hit the ground and you break or twist your ankle badly! How would you stop quickly if at all? The Linq bags, etc. ....do not lock. Why on earth would Can-Am go for a system like that. Ridiculous. The parking brake did not come with a lock initially ...I think it does now. But why would Can-Am not have a parking brake lock right off the bat and not as an option? That made no sense to me. The display is very old school and could use some updating.
I started in 2021 with a Ryker Rally. Added some storage and rode the sh#! out of that thing, it was such a blast. I purchased a 23 Spyder F3 Limited Special series last October . Had both of them in my garage until last month. Didn't make sense for me to try and keep both. I'm glad I bought the Ryker, so much fun to ride. Made the Spyder purchase a no brainer. Nice review.
Great review on the ryker , I do have the Ace900 - 2021 and close to 17,000 km , love it , I did change links, swaybar et elka shocks ...and a stering dampner , make it very nice to ride. there is a new showchrome side bag that is also soft luggage that can remove and be used as a backpack. BRP as something similar Shad and I have this . You need the link plate. Horn is clinky upgraded and a new muffler make it sound more like a bike than a skidoo.... Alain & Yellow
Interesting facts about the the Ryker Rally... it would be my choice just for day trip bike. Next time maybe more on mpg and service requirements compared to Ryker and Spyder. Thanks!
Watched both videos, great job. Love my 24 SpyderRt, have had it about 45days now and love it more each time i ride it. Not impressed with the apple car play though since i dont own apple phone. Getting the update next week maybe that will change my mind lol.
Can you please do a review on a Can-Am Renegade 1000? Preferably the XMR? The reviews that you do are so in depth and have such great camera work that no one else has
I had been thinking about the 600 model but at the same time I would like to have the suspension adjustment wich if I'm not wrong is only for the Rally model. Plus, it will be may main vehicle so I was thinking I should get the top Ryker model.
Let you life ride one and she will fall in love with it. I know I did and before I rode one I was a negative Nellie. But we did opt for the spyder rt for traveling together, now my husband wants a Ryker and I think the Ryker Rally is the way to go.
The Ryker is a Trike it is not a motorcycle and shouldn't be compared with one. Having owned a Spyder RTS 1330cc (2014) model they are fun. These require more car driver skills than any motorcycling skills. As a matter of fact, having any motorcycle experience is a disadvantage riding a Can Am reverse Trike. Better if the new rider was used to riding a Quad bike!
I have a 21 Ryker! Absolutely love it. Has over 15,000 miles! Still get excited everyday riding it. Never let me down
600 or 900
@@anto41691 900 for sure
Moving to an island soon and seriously thinking about getting one of these. Great info!
Thank you for letting him borrow the Ryker. I test rode one a few weeks ago in Elk Grove, California and was very impressed.

Some of the things that you say "no option" are exactly that. Optional.

I’ll do that soon!

They are announcing their 2025 lineup on the 19th. I'm curious to see what changes the Ryker gets, if any.
More affordable than I had imagined... now make a video telling us how to convince our wives we need one!
Better off just begging for forgiveness afterward.

Wife not life lol
Thanks Peter and torque motorsports.
thanks
Heya! Kinda struggling to pick between the cbr500r and ninja 500 SE. I'm 6'1", still growing, so idk what'll fit me better
It’s hard for me to predict which one will fit you better. I like both bikes… for me, I have a bias towards the Ninja, but that’s just me.
Suzuki dr200s review please
Hi Peter
with a good tune these bikes go a lot faster

Duracell battery
it is slow.!
It's not too bad. I found the 900 to be plenty fast enough to have a lot of fun!
@@PeterLoweOne it might be fun to drive but i used have a rs spyder. It's lot faster when I compare it to ryker.
