- Bombardier Recreational Products' Three Wheeled Can-Am Ryker Rally is a fun off-road toy for people who don't necessarily want to buy a motorcycle. Editor-At-Large William Clavey discovered some new roads and rode the 2024 BRP machine hard. Its 900 cc Rotax Ace engine gives just enough power (82 horsepower and 58 lb-ft of torque) to show casual thrill seekers a good time, and the price is pretty fair!

Hi, I bought a 2019 can-am. Ryker 900. I have a disability. I lost my right leg above the knee, so this motorbike is ideal for me. I’ve built a wheelchair carrier on it and put a handbrake instead of using the footbrake. I also put an extension on the gearlever from forward to reverse, I just find it so better I put a handlebars riser kit and also I put a steering damper. Other than that modifications. The bike is fantastic. Does everything I needed to do anymore I still believe they are not ideal to carry around pillion Specially if you go around corners a bit fast it wants to split them off but other than that she is fantastic. A lot of people look at Ryker keep up the good work. I enjoyed your video Cliff from Logan City Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺 I’m on the big island 🏝️
For somebody who never rode a motorcycle you sure handle that very well. You know in New Zealand you can ride these things on a car licence no training. Great video thank you
Thank you for doing this review. Yours is the one I’ve been waiting for since just about every Ryker review is done through the lens of a seasoned motorcyclist. I want the perspective of someone who isn’t a motorcycle rider, and you did an excellent job! I have some motorcycle experience having received my M license in 2022, but the Ryker and Spyder have recently caught my eye so your review comes in way handier than the rest of the youtube reviews.
ima long time motorcyclist always been a dual sport or adventure rider on and off road touring lots of USFS roads and love the newer "BDR" routes , as i get older someday , hopefully a long time in the future yet , when im no longer comfortable on 2 wheels this could be an option
I think the understeer (slow speed roundabout, never got to take one offroad) comes from the rear tyre that is so wide that it's behaving like a limited slip diff. At slow speed on tarmac anyway.
Good review , I am a owner for 3 year of the Ace900/2021 , traction control is sometime a bit to aggressive and would enjoyed more a bit less of it , explicitly on left turn it got a bug there. My is modified with elka shocks and Steering damper. Yep need a bit more comfort Quebec road are not the best. Overall a good machine ( but they have to address the vs. 063 issue) as they did with the Gaz fuel pump - took 2 of the before they did the recall, they need to up there Quality or address issues faster ( and train dealers) I enjoy riding city and country road . But now looking at maybe a electric motorcycle , hopefully can-am will have one for 2005 or maybe a zero would also be interesting.
Can Am ❤
Always more power
Can-Am is not alone, there is another manufacturer that makes a similar bike, but smaller, and less cc.
For next episode I like to see you take it on a tractor lane or some double track of sorts.
Cheers
This thing was made for logging and service roads...or tearing up the desert. Good stuff!
Great review. Now that Can-Am have released the Canyon, it would be great if you could review that too in the future.
Coming soon!
How is it in the snow
Great Review.💯👍🏿
Great review and video content!!
Thanks!
Never hit a pot hole with the rear wheel, unless you want to get launched! At least on a spyder.
Why are we getting videos on 2024 Can-Am Rykers (or Spyders for that matter) when there is NOTHING new to say other than a few color changes, fewer colors and about a $500 price hike? There is nothing new any review in 2024 can add that hasn't been said other than the negative changes to the consumers while increasing BRP profit?
Gotta stay in the algorithm.
Besides, i am going to buy one if there's a difference i would like to know.
I have the 2024 900 you still get your ass killed not slow by any means , you sit lower than a motorbike so still just and dangerous as a bike . With a bike you are higher up better visibility .
No one wants to use the cruise control? I find that preposterous.
I use it with no problem, 2023 Ryker Sport
