Hope you enjoyed my Kanye Cosplay. The early adopters of Kanye’s Stem Player get access to a number of his albums for free to download and remix, but yes, the player costs $200 which is pretty steep. And the lack of storage is def an issue. It’s not just an MP3 player though as some have said in the comments. It’s a tiny mixer with a ton of functionality so you can remix any song and make it your own.
Can you upload from an iPhone? I just got mine today.
And also how do you charge the battery?

It’s a little more than an MP3 player with all the fader functionality but it is limited in that you have to make changes while connected to the website.

@@Liam-uc9xk yeah, download the tracks for 5-10 dollars. Such a Logical choice when ripping music off the internet has been a thing for over 20 years yet ppl are so damn lazy nowadays to download>move to itunes and put it in Apple Music. Literally doesn’t take more than 5-10 minutes.
I’ve never had an MP3 player that can not only separate all the instruments but can also loop, add effects, and more in real time.
Please watch Steve’s other video on the Stem player. It’s a value for how it splits tracks and has high entertainment replay. It still has room to grow. Being tied to the website is a downside.
For real. And not having enough space to download both of the Donda albums was not cool.
Having 8gb of non expandable storage and not even having enough storage to be able to hold both Donda albums at the same time is a huge downside

Yes. There are a few of them out there but you can’t do all those effects on the web interface. The player has much more functionality.

What laptops have that connection to plug in the stem player? This is fuct it cost me $345NZD and arrives two months later with donda 1 on it, had to buy a new charger and now I can’t connect it to my laptop to download donda 2 so basically I paid 345 for donda 1 which I had already purchased through iTunes…..

Just for the first few weeks of the release. He will for sure publish it on music streaming platforms but for now the early adopters of his stem player get the exclusive release to play around with.

First off. This was a horrible review. You kept calling the songs.. “albums”. Secondly which you corrected at the very end.. this is not free. 200$ for 8GB? And on top of that the album isn’t even properly done.
I feel like this was a rushed review to say that you guys reviewed this product first. The product itself IS interesting and I am a huge Kanye Fan.. but rather purchase an iPod Classic with 256GBs for the same price and have unlimited music. Maybe if Kanye added his whole discography at stems then we will all be talking. But this isn’t it.

Plus all the other albums he has on the site and those stems and any future albums he plans on adding. At that point it paid for itself, that is, if you are a fan of all his music.
