Top 10 Pro Bunting Tips ⚾

A well placed bunt can advance the base runner and, if you're lucky, even get you on base too. It forces infielders to come in on the ball and force a defensive play.
In this video we discuss the bunting fundamentals and tips from a pro on where to place your bat according to who you are trying to get to the next base:
1) Move up in the box to create more fair territory.
2) Move in on the plate to handle the outside & inside pitch.
3) Get nice and low in an athletic stable position.
4) Predict where the pitcher is going to throw the ball.
5) Place the bat right in front of your eyes.
6) Thumbs up position on the barrel of the bat, other hand on the knob.
7) Preset your angle to first, second or third base.
8) Square up way earlier than you think.
9) Think about where you want to bunt the ball.
10) Think of situations as to why you want to bunt.
