Hell yeah, 034 tunes are underrated for the 2.0T- I just got the stage 1 ECU/TCu tune for my Audi S3 and its SO MUCH faster, and the boost/torque is incredible while still being linear...Im in low 12's quarter with just that, no hardware. Love it
@@TheParkingLotMechanic I can truly feel that g-force punch in my stomach now during WOT. The S3 with the stage 1 034 tune has 377 HP/400 FT/lbs torque now, which is actually higher than the other major players like IE, Uni, APR .Im pretty sure 034 made substantial revisions to the 2.0T tune in the past year. There is so much false info out there- In the forums the majority of people for whatever say that the 034 tunes are simply safe but not fast. My local indie VW/Audi master tech/owner was telling me how much better his Audi RS3 ran with an 034 ECU/TCU tune after trying APR and Unitronic beforehand. He told me how lots of his customers are switching to 034 as well for the 2.0T and swore by them , so I gave them a try. Im gonna eventually go to FBO/stage 2 within the next year. One more thing, I HIGHLY recommend 034's dog bone upper and lower motor mounts for a much more direct and engaging drivetrain, it's totally with the 90 bucks for both of them. Thanks for the content, keep em coming !
sick bro!! i just got one myself last friday. 2013, 35k original miles 1 owner. first DSG car, i was iffy about getting an auto but the trans shifts so fast it’s insane.. plus i have a manual mustang for a second car if i need that fix
You’re gonna love it especially when tuned! And Dylan, I’ve always been interested in a DSG as a daily with a manual weekend racer. Good to hear the auto is nice!
Such fun! Wish I did it sooner! And I went with 034 because I didn't want to push the stock clutch too much with those 260 hp Stage 1 tunes while it's still my daily. Plus I loved their attention to keeping the safety parameters in place.
Before going k04 get an intake, downpipe, and a custom tune from stratified. That’s what I have on my 2010 dsg gti and I’m making around 250-260 wheel, it makes a huge difference!
I got the TCU stage 2 from them and I get the weirdest rev hang in 3rd gear at WOT? Mainly in Sport mode. Probably won’t go back to them for tunes. Definitely make quality parts tho!
Wish I had more advice on the TCU tune but with the manual, I don't need tunes haha. They really do make quality parts though, love all their suspension mods!
I just got a stage 1 ecu tune from revmatch motor sports for my bmw e46 and I’m really really hoping I get the same experience that you got with your stage 1 ecu.

So underrated! 034 is super high quality through and through! And low 12s is wicked nice! I need to time mine sometime.

Im just about to tune my mk6 R with 034!! Super excited!
Tbh quite jealous you got the R but 034 tunes are great and you won't regret it!
Feel great to see you having so much fun with that. Why 034 over unitronic or IE tho?

Great Video Bro!!!
Hopefully you can do a boost gauge install vid
Thanks dude! And trust me, we’ll get there :)
just what I've been curious about but gotta figure out my overboost situation after installing CAI, Turbo muffler delete and charge pipe.
I'm still working on figuring out my boost loss but this has been totally worth it.
Dude stage 1 was nuts. Just wait til you get a k04 on there.
So looking forward to that! It’ll happen one day for sure!

@4.30 you said 0-60 6.8-7 seconds umm standard is 6.2 seconds
You must be thinking of the DSG. Factory manual is 6.4 but my car was only up to 6.7 at that time. Age, wear, etc. Factory DSG is quicker, 6.0-6.2.
