It is absolutely mindblowing that in your first video about jackal you insinuated that they didnt know how do run a business. Now you guys make this video. Seriously, as a customer, please just be modern gentlemen, congratulate the new kid on the block, and be quiet until you actually figure out your tcu tune, then let that do the talking... Idk who is in charge of your marketing or responsible for these videos, but they arent helping. 😅
But all of their points are valid, and he's right. There's no data to to back it other than a wheel horsepower number, and on this temperamental platform... It is well within the margin of error...

It amazes me people will get so heated into a debate over something as small as 15 HP or less. I tell people all the time to just go for a proven tuner with the features (and arguably, most importantly) the support system/network that works best for you. 034 works great for my needs, whether they make 15 HP more, less, or the same as competition.
when is it coming out?, is it a ecu and tcu tune or just tcu tune
I’ve been around for awhile jackel might be fast but 034 been around for ever . If I’m putting trusting in a build I’m going with 034 . When tuning your car you can go eBay on part or you can go with a brand you know . Time will tell JACKEL V8 gets down though hands down 😅

So, do I understand you correctly that you have an additional update for the TCU, including stage 2?
There will be a free update coming for both DL501 and AL551 TCU tunes that will be beneficial for all stages!
c7owners was the one to make that comparison video, just figured id drop this here for anyone interested. I will say that I would personally go with 034 since theyve had the time to stress test their tunes

We never charge for feature updates. This will be available to you free of charge when it's released.

034 Motorsports. You said it perfectly about your revisions and reliability. The most hp/tq on a dyno sheet doesn’t mean anything. Reliability is everything rather than a blown engine. Thanks for keeping it 100%…
I’ve logged mine which is tuned with Jackal and the AFR at 0.8 and timing corrections less than -2 (of course both items at full throttle) seem completely safe? Not seen any evidence that Jackals tunes are unsafe?..
Also I’m completely unbiased… I run multiple 034 parts on mine and love the springs especially, they are superbly well judged. The pricing of the tune + then having to pay extra for stage 2 etc with people having good experiences with Jackal thought they’d be a good shout and Im happy so far!
@@BarbecuedPossum Jackal Tunes are very safe. Just because a tune is faster, does not mean its unsafe. It all comes down to the calibrator. We are big on drivability, performance and safety.
Yeah my wording wasn't 100% but basically meant for OP to have the stance of "034 better because more reliable" with no evidence of either being safer/less safe than the other seems unreasonable.

You guys are sad. That was painful to watch the whole thing . Not once have I heard Jackal say anything negative towards 034 . Why than have so many 034 guys jumped to Jackal and praised it . Poor sports....

Jackal hasn't had anything bad to say because Jackal has enough low IQ stans to do all of the shit talking for them and it's all baseless and "purchase confirmation bias" is their foundation. Nothing 034 said here is unreasonable. As much as I appreciate Cam, the testing method was also shotty, and lacks data. I don't think that was by any intent of his own. He forgot his laptop.
I don't know if we will ever find out. I only see Jakal users comparing their current to, to old outdated 034 tunes.
People are talking about Jackal being better and "faster" when it's literally just 10whp more 😂 let's see if Jackal will be around supporting the 3.0t platform 5 years from now and not ditching it like the countless other tuners have in the past. 034 has proven themselves to be fully committed to supporting this platform
Love your tunes who cares, you could offer us die hards and boundary pushers a custom tuning/remote session option for a upgrade fee to maximize our upgrades that the box tunes don't account for. Just charge a upgrade fee and have a waiver signed. I would do it in a heartbeat because putting faith in a Dyno shop that doesn't just do our platform just to get 59 more hp for 800$ is the only other option. Feel free to reach out with that option!
