Explore Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir) - Iceland Golden Circle

- Explore with me Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir) as I walk through the whole park. When you visit this park, you will be walking between 2 continents because this park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of 2 tectonic plates. Also, this park used to be the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. As you enter the trail, you can see Lake Thingvallavatn off to the right, and then you will come across a beautiful waterfall called Oxararfoss. There is a bridge to get you to the other side to enjoy the view of Almannagjá canyon and visit the historic church and old parliament area.

Everywhere you look on iceland it is beautiful.
I think that it is cold in the Middle of the summer, is the reson why I never visited Iceland. I like that the temperature is in the 80"s maybe beginning of the 90's Fahrenheit

The parking lot where I parked in this video is close to most sites in that park.
Is it difficult for a cellphone signal going to Westfjiords? How was GPS wise? Thank you
Some areas don't have a cellphone/data reception. You might need to download Google Maps for Iceland before your trip if you worry about GPS signals.
