"A prince gets the best surgeon on Chicago med and a Veteran can't get a scan".Who is gonna tell Dr Choi that even a PANDA is going to get better treatment for Dr Rhodes than his friend?
It's such a small thing, but I love that Will just immediately understands why Ethan wants to take this case over, and hands it off to him without any argument. In so many other instances in this show with so many doctors (including Will,) that would have resulted in a bunch of boo-hoo hurt feelings and a grudge between those two doctors for the next 3-4 episodes.
Often the reason for passing cases over is due to doubting doctors' competency/suitability to handle the cases (which may be seen as insulting), which would often happen after they were already invested in a patient/their situation. Here, Will had only seen that guy for a minute and it was easy to see why Ethan wanted this case as he was already invested in the patient
Thank you Chicago Med for making this great episode, as a vet, I'm glad to see this being showcased by the network. It's an ongoing problem we face everyday at the VA.😔😔
In my country they have a special hospital for military and navy ...... they provide the latest inventions and the hospital is equipped with everything a patient needs....even the medical students have to get a reaaaally super high score to get into the military medical school and they be tought with the best teachers in the best way possible ! ( the teachers are pressured by the government to teach them extremely well and if they don t and students tell on them than they get kicked out ! ) .....some of my medical school teachers work also as teachers in the military medical school and boooooy the diffrence between the way they teach !!!!!! It s huuuuuugeeeee .....like in the quarantine , they were given in anatomy full HD representations on youtube , + zoom meetings if they had any questions and to explain more , and they followed every single student....while for us it was them saying : a voice record that was hurting my ears and wasn t clear at all ! .....plus the citizen's hospitals rarely even have any equipements and if one broke down than they need to wait for a good wealthy person to volunteer and buy them a new one ....but the government acts like they know nothing about it or like it s a problem that does not exist ....simply ignoring it ............. so for my country it s the opposite :military and navy have it ALL and have the best things while citizens get trash 🙃✌
Imma be real it’s great that they’re getting rewarded for their service but civilian hospitals should at least get enough funding to handle what they need to
brad mondo started playing on another tab in the middle of this video can you imagine, "We are gonna need that cat-scan after all..." "Hi beautiful! today we're gonna be reviewing this new hairbrush!"
The sad thing is my uncle is dying of colon cancer stage 4 he didn’t do the surgery and now it spread but as a 13 yr old male I don’t know all details.
I find the American view on the NHS interesting. In real terms, we pay the same for our health service as you guys across the pond through a tax stamp called national insurance, however I’d say the American standard of care is a lot better than here. We don’t really have a mental health service here other than secure units as we don’t have proper therapists like you guys do, and to get any treatment takes months to years because there is so much backlog. Because it’s a state provided service then we can’t choose where we get our treatment to speed things up, like changing hospital etc. I’ve been told I’ll be waiting over a year to get seen about my breathing difficulties when I sleep and during Covid you can’t even see a local doctor or GP we call them because they won’t do it. People seem to die here waiting to get basic treatment that could have been avoided. I pay private medical insurance on top of my national insurance so I can actually get seen
And that wait wasn't because the healthcare system was flooded with covid cases? I'm a US citizen living in Germany and it is much better here than the US. In the US you're "free" to die if you can't afford care.
Hooked on chicago med. Which doctor would you prefer? Dr Halstead or Dr manning? I would prefer Dr manning because in an emergency, she would be calm under pressure.
Bruh Manning is lucky she hasn't lost her medical licence with the amount of times she's overstepped and meddled in the patients lives. Not to say Halsted is any better but still
It's called digital rectal exam. With your finger, mass, fissures and everything tactile touch can assess will be determined. Cotton swabs on the other hand, are used for vaginal smears, nasopharyngeal smears and other lots of things but definitely not in the rectum.
The pretend beef made me laugh!
“Who let this man in the hospital”
“Who let this man become a doctor” lol 😂
A Petty Officer VS an equally petty doctor lol

"Why u still here" Maggie is simply my spirit ! 😂
She is gud
I love Maggie, the way she just let him leave straight away
She’s so funny the way she was like “why are you still here”
That pfp tho
i love how confused dr halstead was in the beginning😭
"A prince gets the best surgeon on Chicago med and a Veteran can't get a scan".Who is gonna tell Dr Choi that even a PANDA is going to get better treatment for Dr Rhodes than his friend?
Well to be fair dr choi was one of the ones who suggested treatment of the panda
Enthan is the one who suggested that he though it will bring more donors to the hosptial 😂

Yes we should or at least a flashback to his military days

Lol imagine dr Choi accidentally spoke to someone who wasn’t his former colleague
Me just seeing the thumbnail and realising he’s the guy from Tokyo drift
These series are like another Grey’s Anatomy to me
Don't compare them pls.
This is way better. Grey's anatomy is just drama, this has medicine.
Grey Anatomy has waay too much drama than the actual medicine and the relations part in my opinion
yeah no
Grey's Anatomy is mediocre

Is it bad that I kinda ship Dr Choi with his former chief? But at the same time I also ship Dr Choi with Dr Glass?
