What if you've agreed upon paying off an 5yr debt? That you were taken to court for? Bc u didn't know your rights? Is there anything you can do after?
Possibly. Once you’ve agreed to a settlement it much tougher, but if you give us a call after the holidays, we may be able to help.
The key is going to involve pulling your credit reports. Check out our video on how to do that, and call us next week.
Thanks 👍
You’re very welcome

I live in NYC, what is the statute limitation I did not know I had the right to dispute. what can I do
It’s very unusual for the statue limitations to matter in any state, but New York law is beyond us, as exclusively, Florida lawyers.
Without knowing the details of exactly how the debt collector is interacting with you, it’s impossible to tell you what your next step is.
Hi thx for a very informative vid.
Quick question I send a debt validation letter to the collection agency. They did respond to me in less than 30 days .
They send me back statements from capital one stating is my account,
My question is what do I next to admit to the debt or do anything I send a letter to settle ? Or do I send another debt letter please advise thanks
As we talk about in the video, your next step depends on your goal.
@@RWlawFL to resolve the collection I have to hopefully purchase a home as a first time homeowner in the near future.
You might want to try to negotiate a “pay for delete”
Thank you 😊
You’re welcome!
