I need some help related to this as I’m stuck on the first screen. I was trying to reset my pc when it crashed. I was on the advanced recovery menu after and after nothing else worked I selected Chose an operating system. I selected the Windows 11 os from a list of Windows Recovery and two copies of Windows 11. Afterward it would turn on but display nothing. Both F2 (which opens the BIOS on a lenovo I think) and F12 work. F12 lets me select a boot device from a list of Windows Boot Manager, my SSD, and a usb with a bootable copy of windows. Regardless of which I select, it opens me up to this Bitrecovery page with the additional line of ‘Press F11 to chose an alternate operating system’. I have no cursor, and if I enter my key and hit Enter, Esc, or F11 the laptop powers off and powers back on to the exact same screen. I’ll greatly appreciate any advice you have.

      a) Will give the status of BitLocker Protection on the drive
      Manage-bde -status c:
      b) Will unlock the drive if locked, otherwise will return an error
Manage-bde -unlock c: -rp "Your Recovery Key no quotes"
      c) Will disable BitLocker Protection on your drive
      Manage-bde -protectors -disable c:
      d) Will give you the Drive ID & the Drive ID Password/BitLocker Key
      manage-bde -protectors -get c:

@@AaronJacob-e9v I can only tell you what we have done. Each person has to decide what is best for them. BitLocker is poorly implemented, because the user is not in control of what happens with the drive encryption. Please view & comment on our other video: ruclips.net/video/mgZ7wooKKtM/видео.htmlsi=FWyaY-C9OzBxmJK7. Since encryption could be reimplemented at a future date due to some MS account association, we have made the decision to log in with a MS account, activate it & keep a record copy of the key. Some people insist on logging in with a local account & deactivating BL. However, there is no way of knowing if MS might still encrypt the drive, associate it with a MS account & maybe you don't even know it. Read the comments on our other video and you will summarize this has happened to many others. BL encryption is useful if someone stole your computer, because they could not access your data. Thank you MS...we are not in control!

so this is unrelated, but at this point in time I am legitimately running out of options.
to preface, my elder brother had an xbox (along with an online account). he passed away in 2017, and left all worldly possessions to me. that is not my current issue though. my current issue is that one day I opted to remove his account from the xbox one since he was kinda....well, not living. I encountered no issues after doing so, thus I assumed at the time it'd be fine.....fast forward to present day and that came back to bite me when I upgraded to a series x.
I can no longer access half my downloaded library (though I don't really mind that for most of the affected games there are two I still played.) all because my brother's account is not on the system at all, or at least his email is not marked as being my relative on account of it not being on the system at all.
I have the email address he used for his profile and his basic info, but I don't have anything payment related, nor do I have the password to the email. if I had the latter I could put his account onto the system easily.
so with all that said, I humbly ask. what do?
